Prompt production of $J/\psi$ in the soft gluon resummation approach using the ICEM

In the article, we study prompt $J/\psi$ production at small transverse momentum within the Transverse Momentum Dependent (TMD) factorization. The Soft Gluon Resummation (SGR) approach is used for modelling of TMD PDFs. The hadronization process of heavy charm quarks is described with the Improved Color Evaporation model (ICEM). In order to obtain spectra of $J/\psi$ at the arbitrary transverse momenta, fixed-order calculations within the collinear parton model (CPM) are also applied and further matched with the TMD calculations using the Inverse-Error Weighting (InEW) scheme. We present results of calculations for a wide range of collision energy with the fitting of the relevant nonperturbative parameter of the ICEM. Predictions for the SPD NICA experiment are also provided alongside comparison with the result of calculation using nonrelativistic QCD (NRQCD) framework.

Charmonium production in the TMD factorization using the Improved Color Evaporation Model

In the article, the study of unpolarized $J/\psi$ production in proton-proton collisions is presented. The Soft Gluon Resummation approach as a TMD framework was used for description of small-$p_T^{}$ production cross section. The Improved Color Evaporation model was considered as an approach to describe hadronization of produced quarks into charmonium state. We find that the experimental data at various center-of-mass energies $\sqrt{s}$ demonstrate the dependence of hadronization parameter $F^{J/\psi}$ on energy. The predictions for $J/\psi$ production in the kinematics of the SPD NICA experiment have been made.

Production of $S$-wave charmonia in the soft gluon resummation approach using the NRQCD

In this article, we study the $S-$wave charmonium production at the small transverse momenta in the transverse momentum dependent (TMD) parton model (PM), as it is formulated in the soft gluon resummation (SGR) approach , using the nonrelativistic quantum chromodynamics (NRQCD) as the model of the heavy quarkonium hadronization. To extend the scope of the calculation to the phenomenologically important region of intermediate transverse momenta, we use the inverse-error weighting (InEW) matching scheme to combine the TMD PM predictions with the results of the collinear PM (CPM) fixed-order calculations, which are applicable at the large transverse momenta. We predict the direct $\eta_c$ and the prompt $J/\psi$ production cross sections and transverse momentum spectra in proton-proton collisions at the LHC, RHIC, AFTER and NICA energies. Predictions for the polarized $J/\psi$ production processes are also presented.
