Phase-Space Analysis of Quadratic Dark Energy: Stable Attractors and Their Observational Signatures

We present a comprehensive phase-space analysis of a quadratic dark energy model where the pressure includes a nonlinear term proportional to the square of the energy density. This minimal extension beyond the $\Lambda$CDM framework introduces a dynamical parameter $\eta(z)$ that governs transitions between different cosmological regimes. Through dynamical systems theory, we identify critical points and their stability properties, revealing that negative $\eta$ values drive the system toward stable attractors (sinks) when $w_{\text{eff}} < 0$, which includes both quintessence and phantom regimes. Positive $\eta$ values correspond to unstable repellers (sources) when $w_{\text{eff}} > 0$. The model exhibits a distinctive asymptotic approach to the phantom divide ($w_{\rm eff}=-1$) from both quintessence and phantom sides without actual crossing, providing a non-crossing alternative to the phantom-crossing behavior preferred by recent DESI DR2 constraints. Our analysis shows that stable attractors produce enhanced Hubble expansion rates and more pronounced late-time acceleration, features that can be compared with recent DESI observations suggesting evolving dark energy.

Induced Gravitational Waves from Non-attractor Inflation and NANOGrav data

In this paper, we investigate the scalar-induced gravitational waves in single-field non-attractor inflation for the Pulsar Timing Arrays data. Our model comprises three phases of inflation: the first and third phases are slow-roll inflation, while the second phase is a period of non-attractor inflation. We analyze the model's predictions for various values of the sound speed $c_s$ and examine the sharp transitions to the final attractor phase. Furthermore, we study the model's predictions for NANOGrav observations and future gravitational wave observations. We also calculate the non-Gaussianity parameter $f_{NL}$ for the non-attractor setup with a general sound speed and the sharpness parameter.

Stochastic Multiple Fields Inflation: Diffusion Dominated Regime

We study multiple fields inflation in diffusion dominated regime using stochastic $δN$ formalism. The fields are under pure Brownian motion in a dS background with boundaries in higher dimensional field space. This setup can be realized towards the final stages of the ultra slow-roll setup where the classical drifts fall off exponentially and the perturbations are driven by quantum kicks. We consider both symmetric and asymmetric boundaries with absorbing and reflective boundary conditions and calculate the average number of e-folds, the first crossing probabilities and the power spectrum. We study the primordial black holes (PBHs) formation in this setup and calculate the mass fraction and the contribution of PBHs in dark matter energy density for various higher dimensional field spaces.

Inflation with Stochastic Boundary

We study the Brownian motion of a field where there are boundaries in the inflationary field space. Both the field and the boundary undergo Brownian motions with the amplitudes of the noises determined by the Hubble expansion rate of the corresponding dS spacetime. This setup mimics models of inflation in which curvature perturbation is induced from inhomogeneities generated at the surface of end of inflation. The cases of the drift dominated regime as well as the diffusion dominated regime are studied in details. We calculate the first hitting probabilities as well as the mean number of e-folds for the field to hit either of the boundaries in the field space. The implications for models of inflation are reviewed.

The Size of Local Bispectrum and Trispectrum in a Non-Minimal Inflation

Focusing on the local type primordial non-Gaussianities, we study the bispectrum and trispectrum during a non-minimal slow-roll inflation. We use the so-called $δN$ formalism to investigate the super-horizon evolution of the primordial perturbations in this setup. Firstly we obtain the main equations of the model and introduce the framework of the $δN$ formalism for this case. Then we give analytical expressions for the nonlinear parameters describing the non-Gaussianity in the slow-roll approximation. We analyze the bispectrum by its non-linear parameter, $f_{NL}$. Furthermore, we calculate $τ_{NL}$ and $g_{NL}$ which are non-linear parameters characterizing the amplitude of trispectrum. Finally, by adopting a quadratic form for both the potential and non-minimal coupling (NMC) function, we test our setup in the light of Planck2015 data and constrain the model parameters space. Although the non-Gaussianity parameters are so small in this setup, this model is consistent with recent observation. We extend our analysis to see the situation in the Einstein frame and compare the results in these two frames.

Consistency Relation and Non-Gaussianity in a Galileon Inflation

We study a particular Galileon inflation in the light of Planck2015 observational data in order to constraint the model parameter space. We study the spectrum of the primordial modes of the density perturbations by expanding the action up to the second order in perturbations. Then we pursue by expanding the action up to the third order and find the three point correlation functions to find the amplitude of the non-Gaussianity of the primordial perturbations in this setup. We study the amplitude of the non-Gaussianity both in equilateral and orthogonal configurations and test the model with recent observational data. Our analysis shows that for some ranges of the non-minimal coupling parameter, the model is consistent with observation and it is also possible to have large non-Gaussianity which would be observable by future improvements in experiments. Moreover, we obtain the tilt of the tensor power spectrum and test the standard inflationary consistency relation ($r=-8n_T$) against the latest bounds from the Planck2015 dataset. We find a slight deviation from the standard consistency relation in this setup. Nevertheless, such a deviation seems not to be sufficiently remarkable to be detected confidently.

Testing a Two Field Inflation Beyond the Slow-Roll Approximation

We consider a model of two-field inflation, containing an ordinary scalar field and a DBI field. We work beyond the slow-roll approximation, but we assume a separable Hubble parameter. We then derive the form of potential in this framework and study the spectrum of the primordial perturbations in details. We also study the amplitude of the non-Gaussianity of the primordial perturbations both in equilateral and orthogonal configurations in this setup. We test the model with recent observational data and find some constraints on the model parameters. Our study shows that for some ranges of the DBI parameter, the model is consistent with observation and it is also possible to have large non-Gaussianity which would be observable by future improvements in experiments.
