Initial conditions of pre-inflation with Hilltop potential in loop quantum cosmology

In this paper, we investigate the dynamics of pre-inflation with Hilltop potential in the framework of loop quantum cosmology. The initial conditions of inflaton field at the quantum bounce is categorized into two classes, first one is dominated by kinetic energy and second one by potential energy. In both cases, the physically viable initial values of inflaton field at the bounce are obtained numerically that generate the desired slow-roll inflation and also sufficient number of $e$-folds. To be consistent with observations at least 60 $e$-folds are required. In case of kinetic energy dominated initial conditions of inflaton field at the bounce, the numerical evolution of the background prior to preheating is divided into three different regions: {\it bouncing, transition and slow-roll inflation} whereas bouncing and transition phases disappear in the potential energy dominated case but still slow-roll inflation is achieved. This is true in case of $p=4$ and $v=1 M_{Pl}$ of Hilltop potential. However for other cases, slow-roll inflation can not be obtained. Moreover, we study the phase space analysis for Hilltop potential and discuss the phase space trajectories under the chosen parameters.

The Oscillatory Universe, phantom crossing and the Hubble tension

We investigate the validity of cosmological models with an oscillating scale factor in relation to late-time cosmological observations. We show that these models not only meet the required late time observational constraints but can also alleviate the Hubble tension. As a generic feature of the model, the Hubble parameter increases near the current epoch due to its cyclical nature exhibiting the phantom nature allowing to address the said issue related to late time acceleration.

Big Bang Nucleosynthesis constraints on $f(T,T_G)$ gravity

We confront $f(T,T_G)$ gravity, with Big Bang Nucleosynthesis (BBN) requirements. The former is obtained using both the torsion scalar, as well as the teleparallel equivalent of the Gauss-Bonnet term, in the Lagrangian, resulting to modified Friedmann equations in which the extra torsional terms constitute an effective dark energy sector. We calculate the deviations of the freeze-out temperature $T_f$, caused by the extra torsion terms in comparison to $Λ$CDM paradigm. Then we impose five specific $f(T,T_G)$ models and we extract the constraints on the model parameters in order for the ratio $|ΔT_f/ T_f|$ to satisfy the observational BBN bound. As we find, in most of the models the involved parameters are bounded in a narrow window around their General Relativity values as expected, as in the power-law model where the exponent $n$ needs to be $n\lesssim 0.5$. Nevertheless the logarithmic model can easily satisfy the BBN constraints for large regions of the model parameters. This feature should be taken into account in future model building.

Integrable generalized Heisenberg ferromagnet equations with self-consistent potentials and related Yajima-Oikawa type equations

We consider some nonlinear models describing interactions of long and short (LS) waves. Such LS models have been derived and proposed with various motivations, which mainly come from fluid and plasma physics. In this paper, we study some of integrable LS models, namely, the Yajima-Oikawa equation, the Newell equation, the Ma equation, the Geng-Li equation and etc. In particular, the gauge equivalent counterparts of these integrable LS models (equations) are found. In fact, these gauge equivalents of the LS equations are integrable generalized Heisenberg ferromagnet equations (HFE) with self-consistent potentials (HFESCP). The associated Lax representations of these HFESCP are given. We also presented several spin-phonon equations which describe nonlinear interactions of spin and lattice subsystems in ferromagnetic materials.

Cosmology in $f(Q)$ gravity: A unified dynamical system analysis at background and perturbation levels

Motivated by the fact that cosmological models based on $f(Q)$ gravity are very efficient in fitting observational datasets at both background and perturbation levels, we perform a combined dynamical system analysis of both background and perturbation equations in order to examine the validity of this result through an independent method. We examine two studied $f(Q)$ models of the literature, namely the power-law and the exponential ones. For both cases, we obtain a matter-dominated saddle point characterized by the correct growth rate of matter perturbations, followed by the transition to a stable dark-energy dominated accelerated universe in which matter perturbations remain constant. Furthermore, analyzing the behavior of $f σ_8$, we find that the models fit observational data successfully, obtaining a behavior similar to that of $Λ$CDM scenario, although the exponential model does not possess the latter as a particular limit. Hence, through the independent approach of dynamical systems, we do verify the results of observational confrontation, namely that $f(Q)$ gravity can be considered as a very promising alternative to the $Λ$CDM concordance model.

Kaniadakis holographic dark energy and cosmology

We construct a holographic dark energy scenario based on Kaniadakis entropy, which is a generalization of Boltzmann-Gibbs entropy that arises from relativistic statistical theory and is characterized by a single parameter $K$ which quantifies the deviations from standard expressions, and we use the future event horizon as the Infrared cutoff. We extract the differential equation that determines the evolution of the effective dark energy density parameter, and we provide analytical expressions for the corresponding equation-of-state and deceleration parameters. We show that the universe exhibits the standard thermal history, with the sequence of matter and dark-energy eras, while the transition to acceleration takes place at $z\approx0.6$. Concerning the dark-energy equation-of-state parameter we show that it can have a rich behavior, being quintessence-like, phantom-like, or experience the phantom-divide crossing in the past or in the future. Finally, in the far future dark energy dominates completely, and the asymptotic value of its equation of state depends on the values of the two model parameters.

Observational constraints and dynamical analysis of Kaniadakis horizon-entropy cosmology

We study the scenario of Kanadiakis horizon entropy cosmology which arises from the application of the gravity-thermodynamics conjecture using the Kaniadakis modified entropy. The resulting modified Friedmann equations contain extra terms that constitute an effective dark energy sector. We use data from Cosmic chronometers, Supernova Type Ia, HII galaxies, Strong lensing systems, and Baryon acoustic oscillations observations and we apply a Bayesian Markov Chain Monte Carlo analysis to construct the likelihood contours for the model parameters. We find that the Kaniadakis parameter is constrained around 0, namely, around the value where the standard Bekenstein-Hawking is recovered. Concerning the normalized Hubble parameter, we find $h=0.708^{+0.012}_{-0.011}$, a result that is independently verified by applying the $\mathbf{\mathbb{H}}0(z)$ diagnostic and, thus, we conclude that the scenario at hand can alleviate the $H_0$ tension problem. Regarding the transition redshift, the reconstruction of the cosmographic parameters gives $z_T=0.715^{+0.042}_{-0.041}$. Furthermore, we apply the AICc, BIC and DIC information criteria and we find that in most datasets the scenario is statistical equivalent to $Λ$CDM one. Moreover, we examine the Big Bang Nucleosynthesis (BBN) and we show that the scenario satisfies the corresponding requirements. Additionally, we perform a phase-space analysis, and we show that the Universe past attractor is the matter-dominated epoch, while at late times the Universe results in the dark-energy-dominated solution. Finally, we show that Kanadiakis horizon entropy cosmology accepts heteroclinic sequences, but it cannot exhibit bounce and turnaround solutions.

Kaniadakis holographic dark energy: observational constraints and global dynamics

We investigate Kaniadakis-holographic dark energy by confronting it with observations. We perform a Markov Chain Monte Carlo analysis using cosmic chronometers, supernovae type Ia, and Baryon Acoustic Oscillations data. Concerning the Kaniadakis parameter, we find that it is constrained around zero, namely around the value in which Kaniadakis entropy recovers standard Bekenstein-Hawking one. Additionally, for the present matter density parameter $Ω_m^{(0)}$, we obtain a value slightly smaller compared to $Λ$CDM scenario. Furthermore, we reconstruct the evolution of the Hubble, deceleration and jerk parameters extracting the deceleration-acceleration transition redshift as $z_T = 0.86^{+0.21}_{-0.14}$. Finally, performing a detailed local and global dynamical system analysis, we find that the past attractor of the Universe is the matter-dominated solution, while the late-time stable solution is the dark-energy-dominated one.

Zakharov-Ito equation and Generalized Heisenberg ferromagnet-type equation: equivalence and related geometric curve flows

These results continue our studies of integrable generalized Heisenberg ferromagnet-type equations (GHFE) and their equivalent counterparts. We consider the GHFE which is the spin equivalent of the Zakharov-Ito equation (ZIE). We have established that these equations are gauge and geometrical equivalent to each other. The integrable motion of space curves induced by the ZIE is constructed. The 1-soliton solution of the GHFE is obtained from the seed solution of the ZIE.

Generalized Heisenberg Ferromagnet type Equation and Modified Camassa-Holm Equation: Geometric Formulation, Soliton Solutions and Equivalence

We study the integrability and equivalence of a generalized Heisenberg ferromagnet-type equation (GHFE). The different forms of this equation as well as its reduction are presented. The Lax representation (LR) of the equation is obtained. We observe that the geometrical and gauge equivalent counterpart of the GHFE is the modified Camassa-Holm equation (mCHE) with an arbitrary parameter $κ$. Finally, the 1-soliton solution of the GHFE is obtained.

Geometric Flows of Curves, Two-Component Camassa-Holm Equation and Generalized Heisenberg Ferromagnet Equation

In this paper, we study the generalized Heisenberg ferromagnet equation, namely, the M-CVI equation. This equation is integrable. The integrable motion of the space curves induced by the M-CVI equation is presented. Using this result, the Lakshmanan (geometrical) equivalence between the M-CVI equation and the two-component Camassa-Holm equation is established. Note that these equations are gauge equivalent each to other.

Camassa-Holm and M-CIV equations with self-consistent sources: geometry and peakon solutions

In this paper, we study one of generalized Heisenberg ferromagnet equations with self-consistent sources, namely, the so-called M-CIV equation with self-consistent sources (M-CIVESCS). The Lax representation of the M-CIVESCS is presented. We have shown that the M-CIVESCS and the CH equation with self-consistent sources (CHESCS) is geometrically equivalent each to other. The gauge equivalence between these equations is proved. Soliton (peakon) and pseudo-spherical surfaces induced by these equations are considered. The one peakon solution of the M-CIVESCS is presented.

Integrable Deformation of Space Curves, Generalized Heisenberg Ferromagnet Equation and Two-Component Modified Camassa-Holm Equation

In this paper, we provide the geometric formulation to the two-component Camassa-Holm equation (2-mCHE). We also study the relation between the 2-mCHE and the M-CV equation. We have shown that these equations arise from the invariant space curve flows in three-dimensional Euclidean geometry. Using this approach we have established the geometrical equivalence between the 2-mCHE and the M-CV equation. The gauge equivalence between these equations is also considered.

Coupled Dispersionless and Generalized Heisenberg Ferromagnet Equations with Self-Consistent Sources: Geometry and Equivalence

We propose a new integrable coupled dispersionless equation with self-consistent sources (CDESCS). We obtain the Lax pair and the equivalent generalized Heisenberg ferromagnet equation (GHFE), demonstrating its integrability. Specifically, we explore the geometry of these equations. Last, we consider the relation between the motion of curves/surfaces and the CDESCS and the GHFE.

Integrable Flows of Curves/Surfaces, Generalized Heisenberg Ferromagnet Equation and Complex Coupled Dispersionless Equation

In the present paper, we study the Myrzakulov-XIII (M-XIII) equation geometrically. From the geometric point of view, we establish a link of the M-XIII equation with the motion of space curves in the 3-dimensional space $R^{3}$. We also show that the complex coupled dispersionless (CCD) equation can be derived from the geometrical formalism such that their curve flows are formulated. Finally, the gauge equivalence between the M-XIII equation and the CCD equation is established.
