Possible Zero-Flux Transport induced by Density Waves in a Tube filled with Solid Helium

Macroscopic derivation of the entrainment in a supersolid cylinder induced by a surface elastic wave (of small amplitude) propagating along the flexible interface is conducted by considering the nonlinear coupling between the interface and the rarefaction effect. We obtain the critical bounds for zero-volume-flow-rate states corresponding to specific rarefaction measure and wave number which is relevant to the rather small critical velocity or disappearance of supersolid flows reported by Rittner and Reppy.

Possible Pressure Waves of Supersolid Helium at High Pressure

We make comments on Kim and Chan's [{\it Phys. Rev. Lett.} 97, 115302 (2006)] letter. Based on their pressure-dependent measurements (by a torsional oscillator technique), we propose that the {\it supersolid} fraction ($ρ_s/ρ$) might be relevant to an sound absorption or attenuation (fluctuations of pressure waves) in microscopic domain since there is no apparent change in $T_c$ with pressure.

Possible Orientation Effects to Phase Diagram of Strange Matter

We obtain possibly valuable information about the orientation-tuning of phase diagram of superdense nuclear matter at high fermion as well as boson number density but low temperature, which is not accessible to relativistic heavy ion collision experiments. Our results resemble those proposed before by Alford. Possible observational signatures associated with the theoretically proposed states of matter inside compact stars are discussed as well.

Possible Structures of Sprites

Upon using the hydrodynamic analog we can derive some families of stationary Beltrami field-like solutions from the free Maxwell equations in vacuum. These stationary electromagnetic fields are helical and/or column-like once they are represented in a suitable frame of reference. Possible dendritic and jelly-fish-like patterns of sprites are demonstrated.

Possible Orientation Effects to the Phase Diagram of Fundamental Composite Particles

We obtain possibly valuable information about the phase diagram of rather dense composite particles at high fermion as well as boson number density but low temperature, which is not accessible to relativistic heavy ion collision experiments. Our calculations could qualitatively measure the number of thermodynamic degrees of freedom at the time at which the matter (produced in heavy ion collisions which might be a deconfined quark-gluon plasma) comes into approximate local thermal equilibrium and begins to behave like a hydrodynamic fluid. Possible observational signatures associated with the theoretically proposed states of matter inside compact stars are discussed as well.
