On the estimates of warping functions on isometric immersions

Using the results of \cite{P1}, we get some estimates of warping functions for isometric immersions by changing the target manifolds by some types of Riemannian manifolds: constant space forms and Hermitian symmetric spaces. And we deal with equality cases and obtain their applications. Finally, we give some open problems.

Almost h-conformal semi-invariant submersions from almost quaternionic Hermitian manifolds

As a generalization of Riemannian submersions, horizontally conformal submersions, semi-invariant submersions, h-semi-invariant submersions, almost h-semi-invariant submersions, conformal semi-invariant submersions, we introduce h-conformal semi-invariant submersions and almost h-conformal semi-invariant submersions from almost quaternionic Hermitian manifolds onto Riemannian manifolds. We study their properties: the geometry of foliations, the conditions for total manifolds to be locally product manifolds, the conditions for such maps to be totally geodesic, etc. Finally, we give some examples of such maps.

Pointwise almost h-semi-slant submanifolds

We introduce the notions of pointwise almost h-slant submanifolds and pointwise almost h-semi-slant submanifolds as a generalization of slant submanifolds, pointwise slant submanifolds, semi-slant submanifolds, and pointwise semi-slant submanifolds. We have characterizations and investigate the integrability of distributions, the conditions for such distributions to be totally geodesic foliations, the mean curvature vector fields on totally umbilic submanifolds, the properties of h-slant functions and h-semi-slant functions, the properties of non-trivial warped product proper pointwise h-semi-slant submanifolds. We also obtain topological properties on proper pointwise almost h-slant submanifolds and give an inequality for the squared norm of the second fundamental form in terms of the warping function and h-semi-slant functions for a warped product submanifold in a hyperkähler manifold. Finally, we give some examples of such submanifolds.

H-anti-invariant submersions from almost quaternionic Hermitian manifolds

As a generalization of anti-invariant Riemannian submersions and Lagrangian Riemannian submersions, we introduce the notions of h-anti-invariant submersions and h-Lagrangian submersions from almost quaternionic Hermitian manifolds onto Riemannian manifolds. We obtain characterizations and investigate some properties: the integrability of distributions, the geometry of foliations, and the harmonicity of such maps. We also find a condition for such maps to be totally geodesic and give some examples of such maps. Finally, we obtain some types of decomposition theorems.

Pointwise slant and pointwise semi-slant submanifolds in almost contact metric manifolds

As a generalization of slant submanifolds and semi-slant submanifolds, we introduce the notions of pointwise slant submanifolds and pointwise semi-slant sunmanifolds of an almost contact metric manifold. We obtain a characterization at each notion, investigate the topological properties of pointwise slant submanifolds, and give some examples of them. We also consider some distributions on cosymplectic, Sasakian, Kenmotsu manifolds and deal with some properties of warped product pointwise semi-slant submanifolds. Finally, we give some inequalities for the squared norm of the second fundamental form in terms of a warping function and a semi-slant function for warped product submanifolds of cosymplectic, Sasakian, Kenmotsu manifolds.

Warped products in Riemannian manifolds

In this paper we prove two inequalities relating the warping function to various curvature terms, for warped products isometrically immersed in Riemannian manifolds. This extends work of B. Y. Chen for the case of immersions into space forms. Finally we give an application where the target manifold is the Clifford torus.

Almost h-semi-slant Riemannian maps

As a generalization of slant Riemannian maps (Sahin), semi-slant Riemannian maps (Park), almost h-slant submersions (Park 2012), and almost h-semi-slant submersions (Park 2011), we introduce the notion of almost h-semi-slant Riemannian maps from almost quaternionic Hermitian manifolds to Riemannian manifolds. We investigate the integrability of distributions, the harmonicity of such maps, the geometry of fibers, etc. We also deal with the condition for such maps to be totally geodesic and study some decomposition theorems. Moreover, we give some examples.

Semi-slant Riemannian maps

As a generalization of slant submersions (Sahin, 2011), semi-slant submersions (Park and Prasad), and slant Riemannian maps (Sahin), we define the notion of semi-slant Riemannian maps from almost Hermitian manifolds to Riemannian manifolds. We study the integrability of distributions, the geometry of fibers, the harmonicity of such maps, etc. We also find a condition for such maps to be totally geodesic and investigate some decomposition theorems. Moreover, we give examples.

Semi-slant submersions

Let F be a Riemannian submersion from an almost Hermitian manifold (M; gM; J) onto a Riemannian manifold (N; gN). We introduce the notion of the semi-slant submersion. And then we obtain some properties about it. In particular, we give some examples for it.

V-semi-slant submersions

Let F be a Riemannian submersion from an almost Hermitian manifold (M; gM; J) onto a Riemannian manifold (N; gN). We introduce the notion of the v-semi-slant submersion. And then we obtain some properties on it. In particular, we give some examples for it.
