Effect of Density Correlations on the Coherency of Relativistic Bunch Radiation

The coherent radiation of the electron beam with account of particle position correlations because of strong Coulomb interaction is considered. For the first time it is shown that the coherency of the radiation of the bunch with account of correlations depend on the mean inter particle distance (mean density of the bunch). The conditions of coherency are found. The influence of deviations from mean distance on the radiation coherency is considered.

Coherent Radiation of Crystalline Beams

Crystallization and radiation of accelerator beams is considered. For the first time it is shown that crystallization conditions for charged particle beams differs from those of plasma. Crystallization conditions of charged relativistic bunches are found and shown that they may be satisfies in existing linacs. The coherence radiation of crystalline beams in the XUV region is investigated. Necessary conditions of coherency are found. The influence of deviations from mean interparticle distance on the radiation coherency is considered.

Radiation from an electron bunch flying over a surface wave

Radiation generated by the passage of a monoenergetic electron bunch above the surface wave excited in plane interface between homogeneous media with different dielectric constants is investigated. For the surface wave of general profile the radiation intensity is expressed via the radiated power from a single charge and bunch form factor. Various types of transverse and longitudinal distributions of electrons in the bunch have been considered including Gaussian, asymmetrical Gaussian, two Gaussian and rectangular distribution with asymmetrical exponential tails. Conditions are specified under which the coherent radiation essentially exceeds the incoherent part.

Stimulated Radiation of Particles in Crystallic Undulators

It is investigated the stimulated radiation which arises when the density and energy of the beam of relativistic particles channeled in microscopic crystallic undulators (CU) obtained by the application of transverse ultrasonic (US) oscillations to single crystals, exceed certain values. For positron beams expected at future linear colliders and real CU it is given the results of numerical calculations for spontaneous and stimulated radiation.
