LayerRoute: Action-Conditioned Mixture-of-Layers Routing for Vision-Language-Action Policies

Vision-Language-Action (VLA) policies leverage pretrained vision-language models (VLMs) to guide action generation for robot control. VLMs provide hierarchical visual-semantic representations that evolve across layers, from local visual geometry to abstract, language-aligned semantics; different manipulation tasks may therefore require different mixtures of layer representations. Meanwhile, the action module maintains intermediate representations that evolve throughout action computation and may provide useful information for subsequent decisions. However, existing VLA interfaces offer limited flexibility in representation access: VLM information is exposed through fixed layer assignments for each action layer, while intermediate action states are only propagated implicitly through residual streams without explicit reuse. We introduce LayerRoute, an action-conditioned representation routing interface that enables adaptive access to VLM layers and action representations. The Layer Mixture Router dynamically forms mixtures of cached VLM representations, while Action-State Reread reuses earlier action representations. Across diverse simulation and real-world benchmarks, LayerRoute consistently improves StarVLA-$π$ and $π_{0.5}$, achieving up to 7.2 gains on LIBERO Long with only 0.31% / 3.87% additional parameters. Ablation studies validate the benefit of action-conditioned layer routing, while routing analyses reveal structured allocation patterns across action layers and task settings.

Acting in Meters: Learning Metric Interactions for Precise Robotic Manipulation

Vision-Language-Action models and World-Action Models have advanced language-conditioned robotic manipulation, yet often leave metric relations among actions, objects, and scene geometry implicit. Human manipulation combines semantic understanding of task-relevant objects with spatial feedback that guides hand motion relative to objects and their surroundings. Inspired by this, we introduce a metric interaction framework that models object-level and scene-level interactions in physical Cartesian space at a shared metric scale. At the object level, Interaction-Centric Tokens (ICTs) explicitly represent end-effector pose trajectories relative to manipulated objects and are jointly denoised with actions, providing physically grounded interaction supervision. At the scene level, the Metric Action Interaction Field (MAIF) uses action and ICT queries to attend to metric scene point-cloud features and learns geometry-conditioned action corrections. Through two-stage adaptation, our framework improves diverse VLA and WAM baselines with a small number of additional parameters and training steps. Experiments demonstrate average success-rate gains of 0.80 and 3.59 percentage points on LIBERO and RoboTwin~2.0, respectively, alongside gains of 6.80 percentage points on real-world tasks and 7.45 percentage points on their out-of-distribution variants.

The Narayana transformation

For $m\in\mathbb{Z}_{\geq 0}$, let \[ N_{n,m}(x)={}_2F_1(-n,-n-m;m+1;x), \] which specializes to the Narayana polynomials of types $B$ and $A$ for $m=0$ and $m=1$, respectively. We prove that the associated basis transformation \[ T_{N_m}\left(\sum_{k=0}^n a_kx^k\right)=\sum_{k=0}^n a_kN_{k,m}(x) \] maps every real-rooted polynomial with nonnegative coefficients to a real-rooted polynomial. The proof is based on the rectangular additive convolution of polynomials. We then apply this result to products of lower triangular matrices and obtain a general criterion ensuring that their row generating functions remain real-rooted. As consequences, we recover this property for powers and products of several classical triangular matrices, including Pascal's triangle, the Stirling triangles, and the Narayana triangles of types $A$ and $B$. We conclude with conjectures concerning the squares of the Eulerian and Delannoy triangles.

High-Speed Vision-Based Flight in Clutter with Safety-Shielded Reinforcement Learning

Quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are increasingly deployed in complex missions that demand reliable autonomous navigation and robust obstacle avoidance. However, traditional modular pipelines often incur cumulative latency, whereas purely reinforcement learning (RL) approaches typically provide limited formal safety guarantees. To bridge this gap, we propose an end-to-end RL framework augmented with model-based safety mechanisms. We incorporate physical priors in both training and deployment. During training, we design a physics-informed reward structure that provides global navigational guidance. During deployment, we integrate a real-time safety filter that projects the policy outputs onto a provably safe set to enforce strict collision-avoidance constraints. This hybrid architecture reconciles high-speed flight with robust safety assurances. Benchmark evaluations demonstrate that our method outperforms both traditional planners and recent end-to-end obstacle avoidance approaches based on differentiable physics. Extensive experiments demonstrate strong generalization, enabling reliable high-speed navigation in dense clutter and challenging outdoor forest environments at velocities up to 7.5 m/s}.

Agile Fall Recovery for Quadrotors with Bidirectional Thrust via Reinforcement Learning

Autonomous fall recovery is a critical capability for quadrotors operating in real-world environments, where collisions or failures may leave the vehicle resting on the ground in an arbitrary attitude. This problem is challenging because recovery must be achieved under limited onboard sensing, in constrained free space, with ground contact, and in the presence of unknown disturbances. In this letter, we present an RL-based framework for autonomous fall recovery of a quadrotor from arbitrary ground attitudes to stable hover using only lightweight onboard sensors. To address severe partial observability and intermittent sensor invalidity, we train a recurrent policy within an asymmetric actor--critic architecture, leveraging an Incremental Nonlinear Dynamic Inversion (INDI) controller to track the policy output. Combined with high-fidelity simulations of motor response and optical flow, the overall training framework significantly reduces the sim-to-real gap. Simulation ablation studies validate the importance of the main design choices, while real-world experiments demonstrate zero-shot transfer and robust recovery under different initial attitudes, wind disturbances, and additional payloads. These results demonstrate that agile quadrotor fall recovery can be achieved without explicit state estimation using only limited and unreliable onboard sensing.

LEMON-Mapping: Loop-Enhanced Large-Scale Multi-Session Point Cloud Merging and Optimization for Globally Consistent Mapping

Multi-robot collaboration is becoming increasingly critical and presents significant challenges in modern robotics, especially for building a globally consistent, accurate map. Traditional multi-robot pose graph optimization (PGO) methods ensure basic global consistency but ignore the geometric structure of the map, and only use loop closures as constraints between pose nodes, leading to divergence and blurring in overlapping regions. To address this issue, we propose LEMON-Mapping, a loop-enhanced framework for large-scale, multi-session point cloud fusion and optimization. We re-examine the role of loops for multi-robot mapping and introduce three key innovations. First, we develop a robust loop processing mechanism that rejects outliers and a loop recall strategy to recover mistakenly removed but valid loops. Second, we introduce spatial bundle adjustment for multi-robot maps, reducing divergence and eliminating blurring in overlaps. Third, we design a PGO-based approach that leverages refined bundle adjustment constraints to propagate local accuracy to the entire map. We validate LEMON-Mapping on several public datasets and a self-collected dataset. The experimental results show superior mapping accuracy and global consistency of our framework compared to traditional merging methods. Scalability experiments also demonstrate its strong capability to handle scenarios involving numerous robots.

SIREN: Unified Multi-Granularity Semantic Interaction for Multi-Modal Lifelong User Interest Modeling

Industrial recommender systems increasingly leverage lifelong user behavior histories and rich multi-modal content to capture evolving user preferences. However, effectively integrating multi-modal features into lifelong interest modeling remains challenging due to the inherent misalignment between multi-modal and collaborative spaces. Existing paradigms typically rely on separate modeling of multi-modal sequence and behavior sequence, and late fusion to alleviate the modality gap, which results in coarse-grained multi-modal representation and limited integration. In this paper, we propose SIREN, a unified multi-granularity semantic interaction framework for multi-modal lifelong user interest modeling. In the General Search Unit stage, we introduce two alternative retrieval strategies: multi-modal similarity-based soft retrieval for retrieval effectiveness, and Semantic ID (SemID)-based hard retrieval for efficient industrial serving. For the Exact Search Unit stage, we explicitly incorporate target-aware relevance via coarse similarity buckets and fine-grained prefix-encoded SemIDs, enabling unified interaction with collaborative ID features within the target-conditioned transformer architecture. Extensive experiments on the offline dataset demonstrate that SIREN achieves a state-of-the-art GAUC. Online A/B tests further demonstrate consistent GMV gains across multiple production scenarios, including +2.28% in Weixin Moments, +3.87% in Weixin Official Accounts, and +1.61% in Weixin Channels. From July 2025, SIREN has been fully launched for full-traffic serving in Tencent's advertising platform.

LiDAR-VGGT: Cross-Modal Coarse-to-Fine Fusion for Globally Consistent and Metric-Scale Dense Mapping

Reconstructing large-scale colored point clouds is an important task in robotics, supporting perception, navigation, and scene understanding. Despite advances in LiDAR inertial visual odometry (LIVO), its performance remains highly sensitive to extrinsic calibration. Meanwhile, 3D vision foundation models, such as VGGT, suffer from limited scalability in large environments and inherently lack metric scale. To overcome these limitations, we propose LiDAR-VGGT, a novel framework that tightly couples LiDAR inertial odometry with the state-of-the-art VGGT model through a two-stage coarse- to-fine fusion pipeline: First, a pre-fusion module with robust initialization refinement efficiently estimates VGGT poses and point clouds with coarse metric scale within each session. Then, a post-fusion module enhances cross-modal 3D similarity transformation, using bounding-box-based regularization to reduce scale distortions caused by inconsistent FOVs between LiDAR and camera sensors. Extensive experiments across multiple datasets demonstrate that LiDAR-VGGT achieves dense, globally consistent colored point clouds and outperforms both VGGT-based methods and LIVO baselines. The implementation of our proposed novel color point cloud evaluation toolkit will be released as open source.

Unique quantum metallic state in the titanium sesquioxide heterointerface superconductor

The emergence of quantum metallic state marked by a saturating finite electrical resistance in the zero-temperature limit in a variety of two-dimensional superconductors injects an exciting momentum to the realm of heterostructure superconductivity. Despite much research efforts over last few decades, there is not yet a general consensus on the nature of this unexpected quantum metal. Here, we report the observation of a unique quantum metallic state within the hallmark of Bose-metal in the titanium sesquioxide heterointerface superconductor Ti$_2$O$_3$/GaN. Remarkably, the quantum bosonic metallic state continuously tuned by a magnetic field in the vicinity of the two-dimensional superconductivity-metal transition persists in the normal phase, indicating the existence of composite bosons formed by electron Cooper pairs even in the normal phase. Our findings provide a distinct evidence for electron pairing in the normal phase of heterointerface superconductors, and shed fresh light on the pairing nature underlying heterointerface superconductivity.

LongSkywork: A Training Recipe for Efficiently Extending Context Length in Large Language Models

We introduce LongSkywork, a long-context Large Language Model (LLM) capable of processing up to 200,000 tokens. We provide a training recipe for efficiently extending context length of LLMs. We identify that the critical element in enhancing long-context processing capability is to incorporate a long-context SFT stage following the standard SFT stage. A mere 200 iterations can convert the standard SFT model into a long-context model. To reduce the effort in collecting and annotating data for long-context language modeling, we develop two novel methods for creating synthetic data. These methods are applied during the continual pretraining phase as well as the Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) phase, greatly enhancing the training efficiency of our long-context LLMs. Our findings suggest that synthetic long-context SFT data can surpass the performance of data curated by humans to some extent. LongSkywork achieves outstanding performance on a variety of long-context benchmarks. In the Needle test, a benchmark for long-context information retrieval, our models achieved perfect accuracy across multiple context spans. Moreover, in realistic application scenarios, LongSkywork-13B demonstrates performance on par with Claude2.1, the leading long-context model, underscoring the effectiveness of our proposed methods.

Graph Attention-Based Symmetry Constraint Extraction for Analog Circuits

In recent years, analog circuits have received extensive attention and are widely used in many emerging applications. The high demand for analog circuits necessitates shorter circuit design cycles. To achieve the desired performance and specifications, various geometrical symmetry constraints must be carefully considered during the analog layout process. However, the manual labeling of these constraints by experienced analog engineers is a laborious and time-consuming process. To handle the costly runtime issue, we propose a graph-based learning framework to automatically extract symmetric constraints in analog circuit layout. The proposed framework leverages the connection characteristics of circuits and the devices' information to learn the general rules of symmetric constraints, which effectively facilitates the extraction of device-level constraints on circuit netlists. The experimental results demonstrate that compared to state-of-the-art symmetric constraint detection approaches, our framework achieves higher accuracy and F1-score.

Nonreciprocal charge transport in the titanium sesquioxide heterointerface superconductor

Nonreciprocal charge transport in heterostructural superconductors exhibits appealing quantum physical phenomena and holds the promising potential for superconducting circuits applications. Realizing a nonreciprocity is, however, fundamentally and technologically challenging, as it requires a material structure without a centre of inversion, which is scarce among superconducting materials. Here, we report an evidence of helical superconductivity, in which the Rashba spin-orbit coupling induces momentum-dependent superconducting gap in the inversion symmetry breaking heterointerface superconductor consisting of Mott insulating Ti$_2$O$_3$ and polar semiconducting GaN. Remarkably, the nonlinear responses emerge in the superconducting transition regime, when the magnetic field is precisely aligned in-plane orientations perpendicular to the applied current. In particular, the observed nonreciprocal supercurrent is extremely sensitive to the direction of the magnetic field for 0.5 degree, suggestive of a crossover from a symmetry breaking state to a symmetric one. Our finding not only unveils the underlying rich physical properties in heterointerface superconductors, but also provides an exciting opportunity for the development of novel mesoscopic superconducting devices.

Band Gap Renormalization at Different Symmetry Points in Perovskites

Using ultrafast broad-band transient absorption (TA) spectroscopy of photo-excited MAPbBr3 thin films with probe continua in the visible and the mid-to-deep-UV ranges, we capture the ultrafast gap renormalization at the fundamental gap situated at the R symmetry point of the Brillouin Zone (BZ) and a higher energy gap at the M point. Global Lifetime analysis, Lifetime density distribution and spectral trace fitting analysis are applied to extract quantitative information. Our work confirms the similarity of the energy gap renormalization at both symmetry points, which rises within the instrument response function (IRF, ~250 fs) and decays in ~400-600 fs times, and an energy red-shift of ~90-150 meV. The ability to monitor different high symmetry points in photoexcited perovskites opens exciting prospects into the characterization of materials, which can be extended to a larger class of materials.

IBADR: an Iterative Bias-Aware Dataset Refinement Framework for Debiasing NLU models

As commonly-used methods for debiasing natural language understanding (NLU) models, dataset refinement approaches heavily rely on manual data analysis, and thus maybe unable to cover all the potential biased features. In this paper, we propose IBADR, an Iterative Bias-Aware Dataset Refinement framework, which debiases NLU models without predefining biased features. We maintain an iteratively expanded sample pool. Specifically, at each iteration, we first train a shallow model to quantify the bias degree of samples in the pool. Then, we pair each sample with a bias indicator representing its bias degree, and use these extended samples to train a sample generator. In this way, this generator can effectively learn the correspondence relationship between bias indicators and samples. Furthermore, we employ the generator to produce pseudo samples with fewer biased features by feeding specific bias indicators. Finally, we incorporate the generated pseudo samples into the pool. Experimental results and in-depth analyses on two NLU tasks show that IBADR not only significantly outperforms existing dataset refinement approaches, achieving SOTA, but also is compatible with model-centric methods.

Skywork: A More Open Bilingual Foundation Model

In this technical report, we present Skywork-13B, a family of large language models (LLMs) trained on a corpus of over 3.2 trillion tokens drawn from both English and Chinese texts. This bilingual foundation model is the most extensively trained and openly published LLMs of comparable size to date. We introduce a two-stage training methodology using a segmented corpus, targeting general purpose training and then domain-specific enhancement training, respectively. We show that our model not only excels on popular benchmarks, but also achieves \emph{state of the art} performance in Chinese language modeling on diverse domains. Furthermore, we propose a novel leakage detection method, demonstrating that test data contamination is a pressing issue warranting further investigation by the LLM community. To spur future research, we release Skywork-13B along with checkpoints obtained during intermediate stages of the training process. We are also releasing part of our SkyPile corpus, a collection of over 150 billion tokens of web text, which is the largest high quality open Chinese pre-training corpus to date. We hope Skywork-13B and our open corpus will serve as a valuable open-source resource to democratize access to high-quality LLMs.

A Simple yet Effective Self-Debiasing Framework for Transformer Models

Current Transformer-based natural language understanding (NLU) models heavily rely on dataset biases, while failing to handle real-world out-of-distribution (OOD) instances. Many methods have been proposed to deal with this issue, but they ignore the fact that the features learned in different layers of Transformer-based NLU models are different. In this paper, we first conduct preliminary studies to obtain two conclusions: 1) both low- and high-layer sentence representations encode common biased features during training; 2) the low-layer sentence representations encode fewer unbiased features than the highlayer ones. Based on these conclusions, we propose a simple yet effective self-debiasing framework for Transformer-based NLU models. Concretely, we first stack a classifier on a selected low layer. Then, we introduce a residual connection that feeds the low-layer sentence representation to the top-layer classifier. In this way, the top-layer sentence representation will be trained to ignore the common biased features encoded by the low-layer sentence representation and focus on task-relevant unbiased features. During inference, we remove the residual connection and directly use the top-layer sentence representation to make predictions. Extensive experiments and indepth analyses on NLU tasks show that our framework performs better than several competitive baselines, achieving a new SOTA on all OOD test sets.
