Pro-Tensor Network

We introduce the pro-tensor network, a categorification of the tensor network, as a fully rigorous yet graphically transparent framework for studying the collection of many many-body theories, which we dub many-many-body theory. We provide a comprehensive toolbox for the graphical calculations using pro-tensor networks. As applications, we recover the Levin-Wen model as a "uniform" pro-tensor network and generalize a result of Kitaev and Kong by characterizing particles as modules over promonads. One can also interpret the string-net pro-tensor network as the space of symmetric tensor networks, thus our framework also applies to the study of generalized symmetry and topological holography. Notably, our generalization dispenses with the assumptions of semisimplicity, finiteness, and rigidity, potentially facilitating the exploration of many-body physics beyond these constraints.

Wan-Image: Pushing the Boundaries of Generative Visual Intelligence

We present Wan-Image, a unified visual generation system explicitly engineered to paradigm-shift image generation models from casual synthesizers into professional-grade productivity tools. While contemporary diffusion models excel at aesthetic generation, they frequently encounter critical bottlenecks in rigorous design workflows that demand absolute controllability, complex typography rendering, and strict identity preservation. To address these challenges, Wan-Image features a natively unified multi-modal architecture by synergizing the cognitive capabilities of large language models with the high-fidelity pixel synthesis of diffusion transformers, which seamlessly translates highly nuanced user intents into precise visual outputs. It is fundamentally powered by large-scale multi-modal data scaling, a systematic fine-grained annotation engine, and curated reinforcement learning data to surpass basic instruction following and unlock expert-level professional capabilities. These include ultra-long complex text rendering, hyper-diverse portrait generation, palette-guided generation, multi-subject identity preservation, coherent sequential visual generation, precise multi-modal interactive editing, native alpha-channel generation, and high-efficiency 4K synthesis. Across diverse human evaluations, Wan-Image exceeds Seedream 5.0 Lite and GPT Image 1.5 in overall performance, reaching parity with Nano Banana Pro in challenging tasks. Ultimately, Wan-Image revolutionizes visual content creation across e-commerce, entertainment, education, and personal productivity, redefining the boundaries of professional visual synthesis.

Searching for the Tetraneutron Resonance on the Lattice

The nature of the tetraneutron ($4n$) system remains a pivotal question in nuclear physics. We investigate the $4n$ system using nuclear lattice effective field theory in finite volumes with a lattice size up to $L=30$~fm, employing both a high-precision N$^3$LO interaction and a simplified SU(4) symmetric one. The ground-state energy is found to decrease smoothly with increasing box size, showing no plateau characteristic of a resonance. We further compute the dineutron-dineutron scattering phase shift using L\"uscher's finite-volume method. At the smallest relative momenta, the extracted $2n$--$2n$ $S$-wave phase shift is small, consistent with a weak interaction in the dilute limit. At intermediate momenta, it exhibits a weak attraction with a peak of approximately $10^\circ$ at relative momentum of 60--84~MeV. While this structure does not constitute a resonance, the corresponding confined $4n$ energy of 1.7--3.3~MeV lies close to the experimentally observed low-energy peak.

Torus algebra and logical operators at low energy

Given a modular tensor category $\mathscr{C}$, we construct an associative algebra $\mathrm{Tor({\mathscr{C}}})$, which we call the torus algebra. We prove that the torus algebra is semisimple by explicitly constructing all the simple modules. Suppose that a topological ordered phase described by $\mathscr{C}$ is put on a torus. Physically, each simple module over $\mathrm{Tor({\mathscr{C}}})$ consists of the low energy states on the torus with one anyon excitation, or equivalently, the ground states on a punctured torus where the anyon is enclosed by the puncture. Elements in $\mathrm{Tor({\mathscr{C}}})$ can be physically interpreted as anyon hopping processes on the torus. We give the precise formula how an arbitrary logical operator on the low energy states on a torus can be realized by moving anyons on the torus. Our work thus provides a theoretical proposal that the low energy states on a torus can serve as topological qudits and one can arbitrarily manipulate them by moving anyons around.
