Bayesian-Driven Graph Reasoning for Active Radio Map Construction

With the emergence of the low-altitude economy, radio maps have become essential for ensuring reliable wireless connectivity to aerial platforms. Autonomous aerial agents are commonly deployed for data collection using waypoint-based navigation; however, their limited battery capacity significantly constrains coverage and efficiency. To address this, we propose an uncertainty-aware radio map (URAM) reconstruction framework that explicitly leverages graph-based reasoning tailored for waypoint navigation. Our approach integrates two key deep learning components: (1) a Bayesian neural network that estimates spatial uncertainty in real time, and (2) an attention-based reinforcement learning policy that performs global reasoning over a probabilistic roadmap, using uncertainty estimates to plan informative and energy-efficient trajectories. This graph-based reasoning enables intelligent, non-myopic trajectory planning, guiding agents toward the most informative regions while satisfying safety constraints. Experimental results show that URAM improves reconstruction accuracy by up to 34% over existing baselines.

Multi-Tier UAV Edge Computing for Low Altitude Networks Towards Long-Term Energy Stability

This paper presents a novel multi-tier UAV-assisted edge computing system designed for low-altitude networks. The system comprises vehicle users, lightweight Low-Tier UAVs (L-UAVs), and High-Tier UAV (H-UAV). L-UAVs function as small-scale edge servers positioned closer to vehicle users, while the H-UAV, equipped with more powerful server and larger-capacity battery, serves as mobile backup server to address the limitations in endurance and computing resources of L-UAVs. The primary objective is to minimize task execution delays while ensuring long-term energy stability for L-UAVs. To address this challenge, the problem is first decoupled into a series of deterministic problems for each time slot using Lyapunov optimization. The priorities of task delay and energy consumption for L-UAVs are adaptively adjusted based on real-time energy status. The optimization tasks include assignment of tasks, allocation of computing resources, and trajectory planning for both L-UAVs and H-UAV. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed approach achieves a reduction of at least 26% in transmission energy for L-UAVs and exhibits superior energy stability compared to existing benchmarks.

WiFo-CF: Wireless Foundation Model for CSI Feedback

Deep learning-based channel state information (CSI) feedback schemes demonstrate strong compression capabilities but are typically constrained to fixed system configurations, limiting their generalization and flexibility. To address this challenge, WiFo-CF, a novel wireless foundation model tailored for CSI feedback, is proposed, uniquely accommodating heterogeneous configurations such as varying channel dimensions, feedback rates, and data distributions within a unified framework through its key innovations: (1) a multi-user, multi-rate self-supervised pre-training strategy; and (2) a Mixture of Shared and Routed Expert (S-R MoE) architecture. Supporting the large-scale pre-training of WiFo-CF is the first heterogeneous channel feedback dataset, whose diverse patterns enable the model to achieve superior performance on both in-distribution and out-of-distribution data across simulated and real-world scenarios. Furthermore, the learned representations effectively facilitate adaptation to downstream tasks such as CSI-based indoor localization, validating WiFo-CF's scalability and deployment potential.

Jordan $*$-derivations of incidence algebras

Let $X$ be a locally finite partially ordered set (poset), $K$ a field of characteristic not 2, and $I(X,K)$ the incidence algebra over $K$. In this paper, we prove that every Jordan $*$-derivation of $I(X,K)$ is an inner $*$-derivation and a transposed Jordan $*$-derivation. Moreover, we demonstrate the existence of Jordan $*$-derivations that are not $*$-derivations.

Rejecting Outliers in 2D-3D Point Correspondences from 2D Forward-Looking Sonar Observations

Rejecting outliers before applying classical robust methods is a common approach to increase the success rate of estimation, particularly when the outlier ratio is extremely high (e.g. 90%). However, this method often relies on sensor- or task-specific characteristics, which may not be easily transferable across different scenarios. In this paper, we focus on the problem of rejecting 2D-3D point correspondence outliers from 2D forward-looking sonar (2D FLS) observations, which is one of the most popular perception device in the underwater field but has a significantly different imaging mechanism compared to widely used perspective cameras and LiDAR. We fully leverage the narrow field of view in the elevation of 2D FLS and develop two compatibility tests for different 3D point configurations: (1) In general cases, we design a pairwise length in-range test to filter out overly long or short edges formed from point sets; (2) In coplanar cases, we design a coplanarity test to check if any four correspondences are compatible under a coplanar setting. Both tests are integrated into outlier rejection pipelines, where they are followed by maximum clique searching to identify the largest consistent measurement set as inliers. Extensive simulations demonstrate that the proposed methods for general and coplanar cases perform effectively under outlier ratios of 80% and 90%, respectively.

Synesthesia of Machines (SoM)-Enhanced Sub-THz ISAC Transmission for Air-Ground Network

Integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) within sub-THz frequencies is crucial for future air-ground networks, but unique propagation characteristics and hardware limitations present challenges in optimizing ISAC performance while increasing operational latency. This paper introduces a multi-modal sensing fusion framework inspired by synesthesia of machine (SoM) to enhance sub-THz ISAC transmission. By exploiting inherent degrees of freedom in sub-THz hardware and channels, the framework optimizes the radio-frequency environment. Squint-aware beam management is developed to improve air-ground network adaptability, enabling three-dimensional dynamic ISAC links. Leveraging multi-modal information, the framework enhances ISAC performance and reduces latency. Visual data rapidly localizes users and targets, while a customized multi-modal learning algorithm optimizes the hybrid precoder. A new metric provides comprehensive performance evaluation, and extensive experiments demonstrate that the proposed scheme significantly improves ISAC efficiency.

A Convex and Global Solution for the P$n$P Problem in 2D Forward-Looking Sonar

The perspective-$n$-point (P$n$P) problem is important for robotic pose estimation. It is well studied for optical cameras, but research is lacking for 2D forward-looking sonar (FLS) in underwater scenarios due to the vastly different imaging principles. In this paper, we demonstrate that, despite the nonlinearity inherent in sonar image formation, the P$n$P problem for 2D FLS can still be effectively addressed within a point-to-line (PtL) 3D registration paradigm through orthographic approximation. The registration is then resolved by a duality-based optimal solver, ensuring the global optimality. For coplanar cases, a null space analysis is conducted to retrieve the solutions from the dual formulation, enabling the methods to be applied to more general cases. Extensive simulations have been conducted to systematically evaluate the performance under different settings. Compared to non-reprojection-optimized state-of-the-art (SOTA) methods, the proposed approach achieves significantly higher precision. When both methods are optimized, ours demonstrates comparable or slightly superior precision.

Some Results on $\mathrm{v}$-Number of Monomial Ideals

This paper investigates the v-number of various classes of monomial ideals. First, we considers the relationship between the v-number and the regularity of the mixed product ideal $I$, proving that $\mathrm{v}(I) \leq \mathrm{reg}(S/I)$. Next, we investigate an open conjecture on the v-number: if a monomial ideal $I$ has linear powers, then for all $k \geq 1$, $\mathrm{v}(I^k) = α(I)k - 1.$ We prove that if a monomial ideal $I$ with linear powers is a homogeneous square-free ideal and ($k \geq 1$) has no embedded associated primes, then $\mathrm{v}(I^k) = α(I)k - 1.$ We have also drawn some conclusions about the k-th power of the graph.Additionally, we calculate the v-number of various powers of edge ideals(including ordinary power ,square-free powers, symbolic powers). Finally, we propose a conjecture that the v-number of ordinary powers of line graph is equal to the v-number of square-free powers.

WiFo: Wireless Foundation Model for Channel Prediction

Channel prediction permits to acquire channel state information (CSI) without signaling overhead. However, almost all existing channel prediction methods necessitate the deployment of a dedicated model to accommodate a specific configuration. Leveraging the powerful modeling and multi-task learning capabilities of foundation models, we propose the first space-time-frequency (STF) wireless foundation model (WiFo) to address time-frequency channel prediction tasks in a one-for-all manner. Specifically, WiFo is initially pre-trained over massive and extensive diverse CSI datasets. Then, the model will be instantly used for channel prediction under various CSI configurations without any fine-tuning. We propose a masked autoencoder (MAE)-based network structure for WiFo to handle heterogeneous STF CSI data, and design several mask reconstruction tasks for self-supervised pre-training to capture the inherent 3D variations of CSI. To fully unleash its predictive power, we build a large-scale heterogeneous simulated CSI dataset consisting of 160K CSI samples for pre-training. Simulations validate its superior unified learning performance across multiple datasets and demonstrate its state-of-the-art (SOTA) zero-shot generalization performance via comparisons with other full-shot baselines.

Synesthesia of Machines (SoM)-Enhanced Wideband Multi-User CSI Learning With LiDAR Sensing

Light detection and ranging (LiDAR) has been utilized for optimizing wireless communications due to its ability to detect the environment. This paper explores the use of LiDAR in channel estimation for wideband multi-user multiple-input-multiple-output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing systems and introduces a LiDAR-enhanced Channel State Information (CSI) learning network (LE-CLN). By utilizing user positioning information, LE-CLN first calculates user-localized over-complete angular measurements. It then investigates the correlation between LiDAR and CSI, transforming raw LiDAR data into a low-complexity format embedded with signal propagation characteristics. LE-CLN also adapts the use of LiDAR based on channel conditions through attention mechanisms. Thanks to the unique wireless features offered by LiDAR, LE-CLN achieves higher estimation accuracy and spectrum efficiency compared to benchmarks, particularly in latency-sensitive applications where pilot transmissions are expected to be reduced.

The Multiplicity of Powers of a Class of Non-Square-free Monomial Ideals

Let $R = \mathbb{K}[x_1, \ldots, x_n]$ be a polynomial ring over a field $\mathbb{K}$, and let $I \subseteq R$ be a monomial ideal of height $h$. We provide a formula for the multiplicity of the powers of $I$ when all the primary ideals of height $h$ in the irredundant reduced primary decomposition of $I$ are irreducible. This is a generalization of \cite[Theorem 1.1]{TV}. Furthermore, we present a formula for the multiplicity of powers of special powers of monomial ideals that satisfy the aforementioned conditions. Here, for an integer $m>0$, the $m$-th special power of a monomial ideal refers to the ideal generated by the $m$-th powers of all its minimal generators. Finally, we explicitly provide a formula for the multiplicity of powers of special powers of edge ideals of weighted oriented graphs.

Beam Pattern Modulation Embedded Hybrid Transceiver Optimization for Integrated Sensing and Communication

Integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) emerges as a promising technology for B5G/6G, particularly in the millimeter-wave (mmWave) band. However, the widely utilized hybrid architecture in mmWave systems compromises multiplexing gain due to the constraints of limited radio frequency chains. Moreover, additional sensing functionalities exacerbate the impairment of spectrum efficiency (SE). In this paper, we present an optimized beam pattern modulation-embedded ISAC (BPM-ISAC) transceiver design, which spares one RF chain for sensing and the others for communication. To compensate for the reduced SE, index modulation across communication beams is applied. We formulate an optimization problem aimed at minimizing the mean squared error (MSE) of the sensing beampattern, subject to a symbol MSE constraint. This problem is then solved by sequentially optimizing the analog and digital parts. Both the multi-aperture structure (MAS) and the multi-beam structure (MBS) are considered for the design of the analog part. We conduct theoretical analysis on the asymptotic pairwise error probability (APEP) and the Cramér-Rao bound (CRB) of direction of arrival (DoA) estimation. Numerical simulations validate the overall enhanced ISAC performance over existing alternatives.

LLM4WM: Adapting LLM for Wireless Multi-Tasking

The wireless channel is fundamental to communication, encompassing numerous tasks collectively referred to as channel-associated tasks. These tasks can leverage joint learning based on channel characteristics to share representations and enhance system design. To capitalize on this advantage, LLM4WM is proposed--a large language model (LLM) multi-task fine-tuning framework specifically tailored for channel-associated tasks. This framework utilizes a Mixture of Experts with Low-Rank Adaptation (MoE-LoRA) approach for multi-task fine-tuning, enabling the transfer of the pre-trained LLM's general knowledge to these tasks. Given the unique characteristics of wireless channel data, preprocessing modules, adapter modules, and multi-task output layers are designed to align the channel data with the LLM's semantic feature space. Experiments on a channel-associated multi-task dataset demonstrate that LLM4WM outperforms existing methodologies in both full-sample and few-shot evaluations, owing to its robust multi-task joint modeling and transfer learning capabilities.

Real-world last-mile delivery datasets are crucial for research in logistics, supply chain management, and spatio-temporal data mining. Despite a plethora of algorithms developed to date, no widely accepted, publicly available last-mile delivery dataset exists to support research in this field. In this paper, we introduce \texttt{LaDe}, the first publicly available last-mile delivery dataset with millions of packages from the industry. LaDe has three unique characteristics: (1) Large-scale. It involves 10,677k packages of 21k couriers over 6 months of real-world operation. (2) Comprehensive information. It offers original package information, such as its location and time requirements, as well as task-event information, which records when and where the courier is while events such as task-accept and task-finish events happen. (3) Diversity. The dataset includes data from various scenarios, including package pick-up and delivery, and from multiple cities, each with its unique spatio-temporal patterns due to their distinct characteristics such as populations. We verify LaDe on three tasks by running several classical baseline models per task. Synesthesia of Machines (SoM)-Enhanced ISAC Precoding for Vehicular Networks with Double Dynamics

Integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) technology is vital for vehicular networks, yet the time-varying communication channels and rapid movement of targets present significant challenges for real-time precoding design. Traditional optimization-based methods are computationally complex and depend on perfect prior information, which is often unavailable in double-dynamic scenarios. In this paper, we propose a synesthesia of machine (SoM)-enhanced precoding paradigm that leverages modalities such as positioning and channel information to adapt to these dynamics. Utilizing a deep reinforcement learning (DRL) framework, our approach pushes ISAC performance boundaries. We also introduce a parameter-shared actor-critic architecture to accelerate training in complex state and action spaces. Extensive experiments validate the superiority of our method over existing approaches.

Multi-Modal Fusion-Based Multi-Task Semantic Communication System

In recent years, there has been significant progress in semantic communication systems empowered by deep learning techniques. It has greatly improved the efficiency of information transmission. Nevertheless, traditional semantic communication models still face challenges, particularly due to their single-task and single-modal orientation. Many of these models are designed for specific tasks, which may result in limitations when applied to multi-task communication systems. Moreover, these models often overlook the correlations among different modal data in multi-modal tasks. It leads to an incomplete understanding of complex information, causing increased communication overhead and diminished performance. To address these problems, we propose a multi-modal fusion-based multi-task semantic communication (MFMSC) framework. In contrast to traditional semantic communication approaches, MFMSC can effectively handle various tasks across multiple modalities. Furthermore, we design a fusion module based on Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) for multi-modal semantic information fusion. By leveraging the powerful semantic understanding capabilities and self-attention mechanism of BERT, we achieve effective fusion of semantic information from different modalities. We compare our model with multiple benchmarks. Simulation results show that MFMSC outperforms these models in terms of both performance and communication overhead.
