Star versions of Hurewicz spaces

A space $X$ is said to have the set star Hurewicz property if for each nonempty subset $A$ of $X$ and each sequence $(\mathcal{U}_n: n \in \mathbb{N})$ of sets open in $X$ such that for each $n\in \mathbb N$, $\overline{A} \subset \cup \mathcal{U}_n$, there is a sequence $(\mathcal{V}_n: n \in \mathbb{N})$ such that for each $n \in \mathbb{N}$, $\mathcal{V}_n$ is a finite subset of $\mathcal{U}_n$ and for each $x \in A$, $x \in {\rm St}(\cup \mathcal{V}_n, \mathcal{U}_n)$ for all but finitely many $n$. In this paper, we investigate the relationships among set star Hurewicz, set strongly star Hurewicz and other related covering properties and study the topological properties of these topological spaces.

A few remarks on bounded operators on topological vector spaces

We give a few observations on different types of bounded operators on a topological vector space X and their relations with compact operators on X. In particular, we investigate when these bounded operators coincide with compact operators. We also consider similar types of bounded bilinear mappings between topological vector spaces. Some properties of tensor product operators between locally convex spaces are established. In the last part of the paper we deal with operators on topological Riesz spaces.

Topological Groups of Bounded Homomorphisms on a Topological Group

We consider a few types of bounded homomorphisms on a topological group. These classes of bounded homomorphisms are, in a sense, weaker than the class of continuous homomorphisms. We show that with appropriate topologies each class of these homomorphisms on a complete topological group forms a complete topological group.

Bornologies, selection principles and function spaces

We study some closure-type properties of function spaces endowed with the new topology of strong uniform convergence on a bornology introduced by Beer and Levy in 2009. The study of these function spaces was initiated in [2] and [3]. The properties we study are related to selection principles.
