Mimicking Dark Matter

I show that a very simple model in the context of Newtonian physics promoted to a first approximation of general relativity can mimic Dark matter and explain most of its intriguing properties. Namely: i) Dark matter is a halo associated to ordinary matter; ii) Dark matter does not interact with ordinary matter nor with itself; iii) Its influence grows with the size of the aggregate of ordinary matter that is considered, and iv) Dark matter influences the propagation of light.

Bi-connected Gravity Fields

I describe a bi-connection formalism of General relativity based on the dual role of the Weitzenböck connection defining the parallelism at a distance and the concomitant Levi-Civita connection derived from the Riemannian metric. A more explicit tensor writing of the geodesic and loxodromic equations clarifies their joint meaning.

Uniform rotation

We describe the space-time model of a uniformly rotating frame of reference satisfying the Helmholtz free mobility postulate, as we implemented it in a preceding article \cite{Bel1}, and we discuss the implications of this model as it concerns the problematic of the one way or two ways velocity of light derived from the model and its relationship with the universal constant c.

OPERA and the GPS

I comment about the adequacy of the GPS to model a particularly defined synchronization in a rotating frame of reference described in a general relativistic framework.
