A model based on Gribov's Regge calculus was developed [1] and was proposed to describe diffractive processes. In this note we present numerical vales obtained from [1] for the dependence of single diffraction cross-section on diffractive mass at $\sqrt{s}$ = 0.9, 2.76 and 7 TeV.
The relative rates of single- and double- diffractive processes were measured with the ALICE detector by studying properties of gaps in the pseudorapidity distribution of particles produced in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 0.9 TeV, 2.76 TeV and 7 TeV. ALICE triggering efficiencies are determined for various classes of events, using a detector simulation validated with data on inclusive particle production. Cross-sections are determined using van der Meer scans to measure beam properties and obtain a measurement of the luminosity.
This is a short communication with a summary of results obtained with a model based on Gribov's reggeon calculus, which was proposed and applied to processes of soft diffraction at high energies. We present a brief description of the model and its predictions for various LHC energies.
The hadron inclusive spectra in pp collisions at high energies are analyzed within a soft QCD model, namely the quark-gluon string model. In addition to the sea quark distribution in the incoming proton we consider also the unintegrated gluon distribution that has an increasing behaviour when the gluon transverse momentum grows. It leads to an increase of the inclusive spectra of hadrons and their multiplicity in the central rapidity region of pp collision at LHC energies.
We study UA5 published data on $p\bar{p}$ interaction cross-sections and on charged particles pseudorapidity distribution in single-diffractive, non-single diffractive and inelastic events and investigate their consistency/inconsistency.
Soft multiparticle production processes in hadronic collisions are considered in the framework of the Quark-Gluon Strings Model and the model predictions are compared with data from SppS and Tevatron. Predictions for LHC energies are given.
We calculate spectra of secondary particles produced in process of single diffraction dissociation in the Model of Quark-Gluon Strings. For description of diffractive dissociation process we use the reggeon model where all legs of triple-reggeon diagrams are eikonalized. Numerical calculation shows that the model gives a good description of data on charged particles pseudorapidity distribution in $p\bar{p}$ single diffractive dissociation.
A model, based on Gribov's Reggeon calculus, is proposed and applied to processes of soft diffraction at high energies. It is shown that by accounting for absorptive corrections for all legs of triple-Regge and loop diagrams a good description of experimental data on inelastic soft diffraction can be obtained. In this paper we give a brief description of the model and of its predictions for LHC energies.
In this paper the relativistic quantum theory of cyclotron resonance in an arbitrary medium is presented. The quantum equation of motion for charged particle in the field of plane electromagnetic wave and uniform magnetic field in a medium is solved in the eikonal approximation. The probabilities of induced multiphoton transitions between Landau levels in strong laser field is calculated.
