CPT Violation, Mirror World and Implications for Baryon Asymmetry

We propose a novel model in which the Universe is created as a pair of coordinate-reversed counterparts, forming a globally CPT-symmetric system that permits local CPT violations within each sector. This framework naturally introduces a mirror universe with opposite chiralities and reversed microscopic time coordinates, providing a geometric interpretation of time reversal without relying on initial-final state interchange. We investigate the consequences of local CPT violation in each universe, which induces a mass difference between the real inflaton and anti-inflaton fields. Such an asymmetry can modify reheating temperatures and naturally generate the observed matter-antimatter asymmetry in both universes.

Constraints on Bulk Fields: No-Go Conjectures for Braneworld Models

This work establishes a series of no-go conjectures that impose rigorous constraints on the localization of bulk fields in braneworld scenarios, specifically affecting gauge and spinor fields within five-dimensional spacetimes. Our approach differs from traditional methods as it does not rely on specific equations of motion, making our results broadly applicable across various braneworld models. These no-go conditions reveal fundamental limitations in field localization, challenging the feasibility of embedding fields on the brane. For instance, our analysis demonstrates that existing models fail to achieve consistent localization for gauge and spinor fields. Additionally, one of our conditions indicates that the effective Lagrangian on the brane cannot exhibit conformal invariance.

A New Braneworld with Conformal Symmetry Breaking

We explore the conformal 5D braneworld, where warping emerges through conformal symmetry breaking. Our scenario seamlessly aligns with conventional brane approaches if conformal symmetry remains unbroken. It is shown that a model with a single conformal breaking parameter effectively localizes gravity on the brane, but it falls short in trapping gauge bosons. However, in scenarios with two parameters, gravity is localized, and the model also achieves the localization of zero modes for both gauge and Dirac fields.

Embedding of the Brane into Six Dimensions

Embedding of the brane metric into Euclidean (2+4)-space is found. Brane geometry can be visualized as the surface of the hyper-sphere in six dimensions which 'radius' is governed by the cosmological constant. Minkowski space in this picture is lied on the intersection of this surface with the plane formed by the extra space-like and time-like coordinates.

Antigraviting Bubbles with the Non-Minkowskian Asymptotics

The conventional approach describes the spherical domain walls by the same state equation as the flat ones. In such case they also must be gravitationally repulsive, what is seemingly in contradiction with Birkhoff's theorem. However this theorem is not valid for the solutions which do not display Minkowski geometry in the infinity. In this paper the solution of Einstein equations describing the stable gravitationally repulsive spherical domain wall is considered within the thin-wall formalism for the case of the non-Minkowskian asymptotics.
