Effects of distinct ion temperatures on the head-on collision and phase shifts of dust acoustic one and multi-solitons in dusty plasmas

The propagation characteristics and interactions between the dust acoustic (DA) one and multi solitons in an unmagnetized dusty plasmas composing negatively charged mobile dust, Boltzmann distributed electrons, nonextensive distributed cold and nonthermal distributed hot ions are studied. The well known extended Poincar Lighthill Kuo (PLK) method is employed to derive the two sided Korteweg de Vries (KdV) equations. The solutions of KdV equations are constructed using the Hirota method both for one and multi solitons. The phase shifts are determined for the interaction of one, two and three DA solitons. The effects of plasma parameters on the head on collision of DA one as well as multi solitons and their corresponding phase shifts are investigated.

Congeniality Bounds on Quark Masses from Nucleosynthesis

The work of Jaffe, Jenkins and Kimchi [Phys. Rev. D79, 065014 (2009)] is revisited to see if indeed the region of congeniality found in their analysis survives further restrictions from nucleosynthesis. It is observed that much of their congenial region disappears when imposing conditions required to produce the correct and required abundances of the primordial elements as well as ensure that stars can continue to burn hydrogen nuclei to form helium as the first step in forming heavier elements in stellar nucleosynthesis. The remaining region is a very narrow slit reduced in width from around 29 MeV found by Jaffe et al. to only about 2.2 MeV in the difference of the nucleon/quark masses. Further bounds on $δm_q /m_q$ seem to reduce even this narrow slit to the physical point itself.

Dispersion Relations for Cold Plasmas around Reissner-Nordström Black Holes

We investigate the general relativistic magnetohydrodynamic (GRMHD) equations for cold plasma around the Reissner-Nordström black hole. Applying 3+1 spacetime split we linearize the perturbed equations for non-magnetized/magnetized plasma in both rotating and non-rotating background. By Fourier analyze we then derive dispersion relations and investigate the existence of waves with positive angular frequency in the vicinity of the black hole horizon. The analysis finds propagation of negative phase and group velocities for rotating magnetized surroundings.

Transverse Wave Propagation in Relativistic Two-fluid Plasmas around Reissner-Nordström-de Sitter Black Hole

The transverse electromagnetic waves propagating in a relativistic two-fluid plasma influenced by the gravitational field of the Reissner-Nordström-de Sitter black hole has been investigated exploiting 3+1 split of spacetime. Reformulating the two-fluid equations, the set of simultaneous linear equations for the perturbations have been derived. Using a local approximation, the one-dimensional radial propagation of Alfvén and high frequency electromagnetic waves are investigated. The dispersion relation for these waves is obtained and solved numerically for the wave number.

Transverse Wave Propagation in Relativistic Two-fluid Plasmas around Schwarzschild-de Sitter Black Hole

We investigate transverse electromagnetic waves propagating in a plasma influenced by the gravitational field of the Schwarzschild-de Sitter black hole. Applying 3+1 spacetime split we derive the relativistic two-fluid equations to take account of gravitational effects due to the event horizon and describe the set of simultaneous linear equations for the perturbations. We use a local approximation to investigate the one-dimensional radial propagation of Alfvén and high frequency electromagnetic waves. We derive the dispersion relation for these waves and solve it for the wave number $k$ numerically.

Transverse Wave Propagation in Relativistic Two-fluid Plasmas in de Sitter Space

We investigate transverse electromagnetic waves propagating in a plasma in the de Sitter space. Using the 3+1 formalism we derive the relativistic two-fluid equations to take account of the effects due to the horizon and describe the set of simultaneous linear equations for the perturbations. We use a local approximation to investigate the one-dimensional radial propagation of Alfvén and high frequency electromagnetic waves and solve the dispersion relation for these waves numerically.

Charged Particles' Tunneling from Hot-NUT-Kerr-Newman-Kasuya Spacetime

We study the Hawking radiation as charged particles' tunneling across the horizons of the Hot-NUT-Kerr-Newman-Kasuya spacetime by considering the spacetime background as dynamical and incorporating the self-gravitation effect of the emitted particles when the energy conservation, the angular momentum conservation, and the electric charge conservation are taken into account. Our result shows that the tunneling rate is related to the change of Bekenstein-Hawking entropy and the radiant spectrum is not pure thermal, but is consistent with an underlying unitary theory. The emission process is a reversible one, and the information is preserved as a natural result of the first law of black hole thermodynamics.

Hawking Radiation via Tunneling from Hot NUT-Kerr-Newman-Kasuya Spacetime

We study the Hawking thermal spectrum in dragging coordinate system and the tunneling radiation characteristics of hot NUT-Kerr-Newman-Kasuya spacetime. The tunneling rates at the event and cosmological horizon are found to be related to the change of Bekenstein-Hawking entropy. The radiation spectrum is not pure thermal and thus there is a correction to the Hawking thermal spectrum.
