Les Houches 2013: Physics at TeV Colliders: New Physics Working Group Report

We present the activities of the "New Physics" working group for the "Physics at TeV Colliders" workshop (Les Houches, France, 3--21 June, 2013). Our report includes new computational tool developments, studies of the implications of the Higgs boson discovery on new physics, important signatures for searches for natural new physics at the LHC, new studies of flavour aspects of new physics, and assessments of the interplay between direct dark matter searches and the LHC.

Probing CP properties of the Higgs Boson via \boldmath{e^+e^-\to t \bar{t}ϕ

One of the main endeavors at future high-energy colliders is the search for the Higgs boson(s) and, once found, the probe of the fundamental properties. In particular, the charge conjugation and parity (CP) quantum numbers have to be determined. We show that these are unambiguously accessible at future $e^+e^-$ colliders through the measurement of the total cross section and the top polarization in associated Higgs production with top quark pairs.

Determining the CP properties of the Higgs boson

The search and the probe of the fundamental properties of Higgs boson(s) and, in particular, the determination of their charge conjugation and parity (CP) quantum numbers, is one of the main tasks of future high-energy colliders. We demonstrate that the CP properties of a Standard Model-like Higgs particle can be unambiguously assessed by measuring just the total cross section and the top polarization in associated Higgs production with top quark pairs in e+e- collisions.

Production of MSSM Higgs Bosons in $γγ$ Collisions

The heavy Higgs bosons $H,A$ of the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model can be produced as resonances in high-energy $γγ$ colliders. Prospects of the search for these particles in $b\bar b$ and neutralino-pair final states are studied in this report. Heavy Higgs bosons can be found with masses up to about 70-80% of the initial $e^+e^-$ collider energy for moderate values of $\tanβ$, i.e. in areas of the parameter space not accessible at other colliders.

Production of MSSM Higgs Bosons in Photon-Photon Collisions

The heavy neutral Higgs bosons H, A in the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model can be produced as single resonances at high-energy gamma gamma colliders. We have studied the prospects of the search for these particles in b\bar b and neutralino-pair final states. The Higgs bosons can be found with masses up to 70-80% of the initial e^\pm e^- collider energy for medium values of tan(beta), i.e. in areas of the supersymmetric parameter space not accessible at other colliders.
