Gravitational Decoupled Charged Anisotropic Spherical Solutions

The purpose of this paper is to obtain exact solutions for charged anisotropic spherically symmetric matter configuration. For this purpose, we consider known solution for isotropic spherical system in the presence of electromagnetic field and extend it to two types of anisotropic charged solutions through gravitational decoupling approach. We examine physical characteristics of the resulting models. It is found that only first solution is physically acceptable as it meets all the energy bounds as well as stability criterion. We conclude that stability of the first model is enhanced with the increase of charge.

Study of Some Chaotic Inflationary Models in f(R) Gravity

In this paper, we discuss inflationary scenario via scalar field and fluid cosmology for anisotropic homogeneous universe model in $f(R)$ gravity. We consider an equation of state which corresponds to quasi-de Sitter expansion and investigate the effect of anisotropy parameter for different values of deviation parameter. We evaluate potential models like linear, quadratic and quartic which correspond to chaotic inflation. We construct the observational parameters for power-law model of $f(R)$ gravity and construct the graphical analysis of tensor-scalar ratio and spectral index which indicates consistency of these parameters with Planck 2015 data.

Thermodynamics in $f(\mathcal{G},T)$ Gravity

This paper explores the non-equilibrium behavior of thermodynamics at the apparent horizon of isotropic and homogeneous universe model in $f(\mathcal{G},T)$ gravity ($\mathcal{G}$ and $T$ represent the Gauss-Bonnet invariant and trace of the energy-momentum tensor, respectively). We construct the corresponding field equations and analyze the first as well as generalized second law of thermodynamics in this scenario. It is found that an auxiliary term corresponding to entropy production appears due to the non-equilibrium picture of thermodynamics in first law. The universal condition for the validity of generalized second law of thermodynamics is also obtained. Finally, we check the validity of generalized second law of thermodynamics for the reconstructed $f(\mathcal{G},T)$ models (de Sitter and power-law solutions). We conclude that this law holds for suitable choices of free parameters.

Lorentz Distributed Noncommutative $F(T,T_G)$ Wormhole Solutions

The aim of this paper is to study static spherically symmetric noncommutative $F(T,T_G)$ wormhole solutions along with Lorentzian distribution. Here, $T$ and $T_G$ are torsion scalar and teleparallel equivalent Gauss-Bonnet term, respectively. We take a particular redshift function and two $F(T,T_G)$ models. We analyze the behavior of shape function and also examine null as well as weak energy conditions graphically. It is concluded that there exist realistic wormhole solutions for both models. We also study the stability of these wormhole solutions through equilibrium condition and found them stable.

Wormhole Geometry and Noether Symmetry in f(R) Gravity

This paper investigates the geometry of static traversable wormhole through Noether symmetry approach in $f(R)$ gravity. We take perfect fluid distribution and formulate symmetry generators with associated conserved quantities corresponding to general form, power-law and exponential $f(R)$ models. In each case, we evaluate wormhole solutions using constant and variable red-shift functions. We analyze the behavior of shape function, viability of constructed $f(R)$ model and stability of wormhole solutions graphically. The physical existence of wormhole solutions can be examined through null/weak energy conditions of perfect fluid and null energy condition of the effective energy-momentum tensor. The graphical interpretation of constructed wormhole solutions ensures the existence of physically viable and traversable wormholes for all models. It is concluded that the constructed wormholes are found to be stable in most of the cases.

Cosmological Analysis of Reconstructed $\mathcal{F}(T,T_\mathcal{G})$ Models

In this paper, we analyze cosmological consequences of the reconstructed generalized ghost pilgrim dark energy $\mathcal{F}(T,T_\mathcal{G})$ models in terms of redshift parameter $z$. For this purpose, we consider power-law scale factor, scale factor for two unified phases and intermediate scale factor. We discuss graphical behavior of the reconstructed models and examine their stability analysis. Also, we explore the behavior of equation of state as well as deceleration parameters and $ω_Λ-ω_Λ^{'}$ as well as $r-s$ planes. It is found that all models are stable for pilgrim dark energy parameter $2$. The equation of state parameter satisfies the necessary condition for pilgrim dark energy phenomenon for all scale factors. All other cosmological parameters show great consistency with the current behavior of the universe.

Polarization Modes of Gravitational Wave for Viable f(R) Models

In this paper, we study the gravitational wave polarization modes for some particular $f(R)$ models using Newman-Penrose formalism. We find two extra scalar modes of gravitational wave (longitudinal and transversal modes) in addition to two tensor modes of general relativity. We conclude that gravitational waves correspond to class $II_{6}$ under the Lorentz-invariant E(2) classification of plane null waves for these $f(R)$ models.

Dynamical Instability of Charged Gaseous Cylinder

In this paper, we discuss dynamical instability of charged dissipative cylinder under radial oscillations. For this purpose, we follow the Eulerian and Lagrangian approaches to evaluate linearized perturbed equation of motion. We formulate perturbed pressure in terms of adiabatic index by applying the conservation of baryon numbers. A variational principle is established to determine characteristic frequencies of oscillation which define stability criteria for gaseous cylinder. We compute the ranges of radii as well as adiabatic index for both charged and uncharged cases in Newtonian and post-Newtonian limits. We conclude that dynamical instability occurs in the presence of charge if the gaseous cylinder contracts to the radius $R_{*}$.

Influence of $f(R)$ Models on the Existence of Anisotropic Self-Gravitating Systems

This paper aims to explore some realistic configurations of anisotropic spherical structures in the background of metric $f(R)$ gravity, where $R$ is the Ricci scalar. The solutions obtained by Krori and Barua are used to examine the nature of particular compact stars with three different modified gravity models. The behavior of material variables is analyzed through plots and the physical viability of compact stars is investigated through energy conditions. We also discuss the behavior of different forces, equation of state parameter, measure of anisotropy and Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkoff equation in the modeling of stellar structures. The comparison from our graphical representations may provide evidences for the realistic and viable $f(R)$ gravity models at both theoretical and astrophysical scale.

On the Stability of Einstein Universe in f(R,T,R_{μν}T^{μν}) Gravity

This paper investigates the existence and stability of Einstein universe in the context of $f(R,T,Q)$ gravity, where $Q=R_{μν}T^{μν}$. Considering linear homogeneous perturbations around scale factor and energy density, we formulate static as well as perturbed field equations. We parameterize the stability regions corresponding to conserved as well as non-conserved energy-momentum tensor using linear equation of state parameter for particular models of this gravity. The graphical analysis concludes that for a suitable choice of parameters, the stable regions of the Einstein universe are obtained.

Stability of Oscillating Gaseous Masses in Massive Brans-Dicke Gravity

This paper explores the instability of gaseous masses for the radial oscillations in post-Newtonian correction of massive Brans-Dicke gravity. For this purpose, we derive linearized perturbed equation of motion through Lagrangian radial perturbation which leads to the condition of marginal stability. We discuss radius of instability of different polytropic structures in terms of the Schwarzschild radius. It is concluded that our results provide a wide range of difference with those in general relativity and Brans-Dicke gravity.

Existence of Static Wormholes in $f(\mathcal{G},T)$ Gravity

This paper investigates static spherically symmetric traversable wormhole solutions in $f(\mathcal{G},T)$ gravity ($\mathcal{G}$ and $T$ represent the Gauss-Bonnet invariant and trace of the energy-momentum tensor, respectively). We construct explicit expressions for ordinary matter by taking specific form of red-shift function and $f(\mathcal{G},T)$ model. To analyze possible existence of wormholes, we consider anisotropic, isotropic as well as barotropic matter distributions. The graphical analysis shows the violation of null energy condition for the effective energy-momentum tensor throughout the evolution while ordinary matter meets energy constraints in certain regions for each case of matter distribution. It is concluded that traversable WH solutions are physically acceptable in this theory.

The aim of this paper is to reconstruct and analyze the stability of some cosmological models against linear perturbations in $f(\mathcal{G},T)$ gravity ($\mathcal{G}$ and $T$ represent the Gauss-Bonnet invariant and trace of the energy-momentum tensor, respectively). We formulate the field equations for both general as well as particular cases in the context of isotropic and homogeneous universe model. We reproduce the cosmic evolution corresponding to de Sitter universe, power-law solutions and phantom/non-phantom eras in this theory using reconstruction technique. Finally, we study stability analysis of de Sitter as well as power-law solutions through linear perturbations.

Exact Solutions and Conserved Quantities in f(R,T) Gravity

This paper explores Noether and Noether gauge symmetries of anisotropic universe model in $f(R,T)$ gravity. We consider two particular models of this gravity and evaluate their symmetry generators as well as associated conserved quantities. We also find exact solution by using cyclic variable and investigate its behavior via cosmological parameters. The behavior of cosmological parameters turns out to be consistent with recent observations which indicates accelerated expansion of the universe. Next we study Noether gauge symmetry and corresponding conserved quantities for both isotropic and anisotropic universe models. We conclude that symmetry generators and the associated conserved quantities appear in all cases.

Particle Dynamics Near Kerr-MOG Black Hole

This paper explores the dynamics of both neutral as well as charged particles orbiting near a rotating black hole in scalar-tensor-vector gravity. We study the conditions for the particle to escape at the innermost stable circular orbit. We investigate stability of orbits through effective potential and Lyapunov exponent in the presence of magnetic field. The effective force acting on particle is also discussed. We also study the center of mass energy of particle collision near the horizon of this black hole. Finally, we compare our results with the particle motion around Schwarzschild, Kerr and Schwarzschild-MOG black holes. It is concluded that the external magnetic field, spin parameter as well as dimensionless parameter of the theory have strong effects on particle dynamics in modified gravity.

We construct static as well as perturbed field equations and investigate stability regions for the specific forms of generic function $f(\mathcal{G},T)$ corresponding to conserved as well as non-conserved energy-momentum tensor. We use the equation of state parameter to parameterize the stability regions. The graphical analysis shows that the suitable choice of parameters lead to stable regions of the Einstein universe.

Cosmological Analysis of Scalar Field Models in f(R,T) Gravity

This paper determines the existence of Noether symmetry in non-minimally coupled $f(R,T)$ gravity admitting minimal coupling with scalar field models. We consider a generalized spacetime which corresponds to different anisotropic and homogeneous universe models. We formulate symmetry generators along with conserved quantities through Noether symmetry technique for direct and indirect curvature-matter coupling. For dust and perfect fluids, we evaluate exact solutions and construct their cosmological analysis through some cosmological parameters. We conclude that decelerated expansion is obtained for quintessence model with dust distribution while perfect fluid with dominating potential energy over kinetic energy leads to current cosmic expansion for both phantom as well as quintessence models.

Stability of Thin-Shell Wormholes from Regular ABG Black Hole

In this paper, we construct thin-shell wormholes from regular Ayon-Beato and Garcia black hole by employing cut and paste formalism and examine their stability. We analyze attractive and repulsive characteristics of wormholes corresponding to outward and inward-directed acceleration components, respectively. A general equation of state is assumed as a linear perturbation to explore stability of these constructed wormholes with and without cosmological constant. We consider linear, logarithmic and Chaplygin gas models for exotic matter and evaluate stability regions for different values of charge. For horizon-free case, it is found that the generalized Chaplygin gas model provides maximum stable regions in de Sitter background while the modified generalized Chaplygin gas and logarithmic gas yield maximum stable regions in anti-de Sitter spacetime.
