Double charmed baryon production at B-factory

The cross-section for the double charmed baryon production at a $B$-factory is estimated on the basis of the perturbative QCD calculations for the $c c$-diquark production as well as of the quark-hadron duality.

Photonic production of B_c-mesons

The cross section of the $γγ\rightarrow B_c(B_c^*) \bar b c $ process is calculated. It is shown that near threshold the pseudoscalar state production is much suppressed with respect to the vector one. At large energies their ratio becaims $σ(B_c^*)/sigma(B_c)\sim 4$. The process of heavy quark recombination dominates in the production of $B_c(B_c^*)$ states. The fragmentation process $b\to B_c$ comes to play at high $p_t$ values only, while its contribution will remain nondominant.

Hadronic production of B_c-mesons

On the basis of the exact formulas of QCD perturbation theory and parton model the hadronic production cross-sections for $B_c({B_c}^*)$-mesons ($1^1S_0,1^3S_1,2^1S_0,2^3S_1$-states) are calculated. The method used is the direct calculation of appropriate amplitudes with the help of a FORTRAN program and subsequent Monte-Carlo integration over the phase space and convolution with the structure functions.

Production of four heavy quarks and $B_c$-mesons at the $Z^0$-boson pole

The cross-section for the production of $b{\bar b} c{\bar c}$ quarks in $e^+e^-$ annihilation, that proves to be at a level of $σ(e^+e^- \rightarrow b{\bar b} c{\bar c})/ σ(e^+e^- \rightarrow b{\bar b}) \sim 10^{-2}$ for ${\sqrt s}=M_Z$ is calculated within the frames of the QCD perturbation theory. The cross sections for the associated production of $1S$- and $2S$-wave states of $B_c$-meson in the reaction $e^+e^- \rightarrow B_c b{\bar c}$ were calculated in the nonrelativistic model of a heavy quarkonium. The fragmentation function of $b\to B_c^{(*)}$ is analysed in the scaling limit. The number of $Λ_{bc}$-hyperons to be expected at LEP is estimated on the basis of the assumption on quark-hadron duality.

Probing Three-Boson Anomalous Couplings in $e^+e^-\to W^+W^-$ at Future Linear $e^+e^-$ Colliders with Polarized Beams

We study the potential of the next-generation $e^+ e^-$ linear colliders with longitudinally polarized beams, to restrict the values of the anomalous trilinear couplings $WWγ$ and $WWZ$ from the measurement of the process $e^+ e^-\to W^+ W^-$. Along with initial $e^+e^-$ polarization, we account also for the possibilities offered by cross sections for polarized final $W$, in order to disentangle the constraints on the various constants. The results show the essential role of the initial beams polarization in improving the bounds obtained from the unpolarized case.
