Observational consequences of a dark interaction model

We study a model with decay of dark energy and creation of the dark matter particles. We integrate the field equations and find the transition redshift where the evolution process of the universe change the accelerated expansion, and discuss the luminosity distance, acoustic oscillations and the statefinder parameters.

A study of gravitational collapse with decaying of the vacuum energy

We study the gravitational collapse of a dust dark matter star in a $Λ$-background. We consider two distinct cases: First we do not have a dark matter and dark energy coupling; second, we consider that $Λ$ decay in dark particles. The approach adopted assumes a modified matter expansion rate and we have formation of a black hole, since that, we have the formation of an apparent horizon. A brief comparison of the process of the matter condensation using the gravitational collapse approach and the linear scalar perturbation theory is considered.

Chen-Wu type model and the total energy of the universe

The inclusion of a $Λ$ term, today, in the relativistic field equations is consequence of the evolution of an observational cosmology. In this work we argue the "ansatz" $Λ= βH^2 +\fracα{R^2}$ is applicable to the total energy density of the universe, discuss some cosmological consequences and compare the growing mode of the density contrast with the corresponding mode of the standard model.

The Dyer-Roeder relation in a universe with particle production

We have obtained analytical exact solutions of the Dyer-Roeder equation in a cosmological model where creation of particles occurs at the expenses of the gravitational field. We discussed the influences of inhomogeneities in the path of a light beam on the apparent diameter of astrophysical objects and consider both redshift independent as redshift dependent distributions of the inhomogeneities.

Perturbed Einstein field equations using Maple

We obtain the perturbed components of affine connection and Ricci tensor using algebraic computation. Naturally, the perturbed Einstein field equations for the vacuum can be written. The method can be used to obtain perturbed equations of the superior order.

Adiabatic decaying vacuum model for the universe

We study a model that the entropy per particle in the universe is constant. The sources for the entropy are the particle creation and a lambda decaying term. We find exact solutions for the Einstein field equations and show the compatibilty of the model with respect to the age and the acceleration of the universe.

Tensorial Perturbations in an Accelerating Universe

We study tensorial perturbations (gravitational waves) in a universe with particle production (OSC). The background of gravitational waves produces a perturbation in the redshift observed from distant sources. The modes for the perturbation in the redshift (induced redshift) are calculated in a universe with particle production.

Evolution of the Density Contrast with Particle Production in a Gauge-Invariant Formalism

In this work we derive the evolution equation for the density contrast considering open system cosmology, where the influence of adiabatic particle production process on the dynamic of a homogeneous and isotropic is investigated within a manifestly covariant formulation. As application we derive the solution for two sources, one of them is a generalization of Prigogine's model. Then we establish the condition for the reach of the non-linear regime for the density contrast which turns out to be a necessary condition for the structure formation.

The age problem and growing of structures for open system cosmology

A new equation for the density contrast is derived in the framework of reexamined Newtonian cosmology taken into account adiabatic matter creation in the universe. The age of the universe and the reach of the non linear regime of the density contrast are usually treated separately in the literature and this may lead to controversial conclusions regarding the most adequate scenario to describe the universe. We relate the age of the universe and the growing mode of the density contrast by introducing a variable $ξ$ that relates both of them, thus both aspects are treated simultaneously. We apply this procedure to the Friedmann type model where the source of particle production is given by $Ψ= 3 n βH$.

Growing of the Inhomogeneities with Particle Production

Perturbations in Prigogine's cosmological model with particle creation are investigated in the framework of Newtonian Theory. The necessary conditions for the density contrast to reach the non-linear regime wich is necessary to garantee structure formation at large scale are obtained. The upper limit of the age of the universe is investigated for the perturbations obtained to find them compatible with the observed data from COBE(Cosmic Background Explorer satellite).
