QCD Anomaly Coupling for the $η'-g-g$ Vertex in Inclusive Decay $B\toη' X_s$

The QCD anomaly coupling of $η'-g-g$ is treated as the axial vector current triangle anomaly. By assuming the divergent axial vector coupling of the $η'$ meson with the quark line in the triangle diagram, we calculate the QCD anomaly of $η'-g-g$ as well as the QED anomaly of $η'-γ-γ$ with only one common parameter $κ_{η'}$. We obtain consistent results of the branching ratios for $B\toη' X_s, J/ψ\toη'γ$ and $η'\to γγ$ when comparing with experimental data.

Futher Study of CP Violation and Branching Ratios for $\bar{B^0}\to J/ψK_s$ and $\bar{B^0}\to ϕK_s$ in the Standard Model and Beyond

In this work we study the CP violation for $\bar{B^0}\to J/ψK_s$ and $\bar{B^0}\to ϕK_s$ up to leading and next-to-leading order QCD corrections in the standard model, two-Higgs-doublet model and the minimal supersymmetric extension of the standard model. We also study the effect of new physics on the branching ratios of these two decay modes. We find that within the parameter space constrained by the observation of the decay $b\to sγ$, new physics does not affect the CP asymmetries greatly, and the prediction of new physics to the branching ratios of $\bar{B^0}\to J/ψK_s$ and $\bar{B^0}\to ϕK_s$ is the same as that of the standard model up to a minor discrepancy as far as the Yukama couplying constants are perturbative.

Momentum Spectrum of $η'$ Meson in the Inclusive Decay $B\to η'X_s$

The momentum distribution for the $η'$ meson produced through the inclusive decay $B\to η'X$ is investigated under two decay mechanisms, $b\toη's$ and $b\to η' s g$. Although all these two mechanisms can explain the recently observed decay rate of $B\to η'X$, the momentum spectrums for $η'$ meson predicted by them are strongly different. Thus detailed experiment is proposed to distinguish the two cases.

Space-like Penguin Effects in $B \to PP$ Decays

The space-like penguin contributions to branching ratios and CP asymmetries in charmless decays of $B$ to two pseudoscalar mesons are studied using the next-to-leading order low energy effective Hamiltonian. Both the gluonic penguin and the electroweak penguin diagrams are considered. We find that the effects are significant.
