Integrability in the sense of Hasse-Schmidt and $p^e$-basis

Let $r$ be a ring of positive characteristic with a $p$-basis over a subring $k$. We explore necessary and sufficient conditions under which the module of $k$-derivations of $R$ coincides with the module of integrable $k$-derivations of $R$.
