Invariance principle for the random conductance model in a degenerate ergodic environment

We study a continuous time random walk, $X$, on ${\mathbb{Z}}^d$ in an environment of random conductances taking values in $(0,\infty)$. We assume that the law of the conductances is ergodic with respect to space shifts. We prove a quenched invariance principle for $X$ under some moment conditions of the environment. The key result on the sublinearity of the corrector is obtained by Moser's iteration scheme.

Homogenization theory for the random conductance model with degenerate ergodic weights and unbounded-range jumps

We study homogenization properties of the discrete Laplace operator with random conductances on a large domain in $\mathbb{Z}^d$. More precisely, we prove almost-sure homogenization of the discrete Poisson equation and of the top of the Dirichlet spectrum. We assume that the conductances are stationary, ergodic and nearest-neighbor conductances are positive. In contrast to earlier results, we do not require uniform ellipticity but certain integrability conditions on the lower and upper tails of the conductances. We further allow jumps of arbitrary length. Without the long-range connections, the integrability condition on the lower tail is optimal for spectral homogenization. It coincides with a necessary condition for the validity of a local central limit theorem for the random walk among random conductances. As an application of spectral homogenization, we prove a quenched large deviation principle for the normalized and rescaled local times of the random walk in a growing box. Our proofs are based on a compactness result for the Laplacian's Dirichlet energy, Poincare inequalities, Moser iteration and two-scale convergence.

Quenched invariance principles for the random conductance model on a random graph with degenerate ergodic weights

We consider a stationary and ergodic random field $\{ω(e) : e \in E_d\}$ that is parameterized by the edge set of the Euclidean lattice $\mathbb{Z}^d$, $d \geq 2$. The random variable $ω(e)$, taking values in $[0, \infty)$ and satisfying certain moment bounds, is thought of as the conductance of the edge $e$. Assuming that the set of edges with positive conductances give rise to a unique infinite cluster $\mathcal{C}_{\infty}(ω)$, we prove a quenched invariance principle for the continuous-time random walk among random conductances under relatively mild conditions on the structure of the infinite cluster. An essential ingredient of our proof is a new anchored relative isoperimetric inequality.

The enhanced Sanov theorem and propagation of chaos

We establish a Sanov type large deviation principle for an ensemble of interacting Brownian rough paths. As application a large deviations for the ($k$-layer, enhanced) empirical measure of weakly interacting diffusions is obtained. This in turn implies a propagation of chaos result in rough path spaces and allows for a robust subsequent analysis of the particle system and its McKean-Vlasov type limit, as shown in two corollaries.
