Four-loop wave function renormalization in QCD and QED

We compute the on-shell wave function renormalization constant to four-loop order in QCD and present numerical results for all coefficients of the SU$(N_c)$ colour factors. We extract the four-loop HQET anomalous dimension of the heavy quark field and also discuss the application of our result to QED.

Three-loop massive form factors: complete light-fermion corrections for the vector current

We compute the three-loop QCD corrections to the massive quark-anti-quark-photon form factors $F_1$ and $F_2$ involving a closed loop of massless fermions. This subset is gauge invariant and contains both planar and non-planar contributions. We perform the reduction using FIRE and compute the master integrals with the help of differential equations. Our analytic results can be expressed in terms of Goncharov polylogarithms. We provide analytic results for all master integrals which are not present in the large-$N_c$ calculation considered in Refs. [1,2].

$(g-2)_μ$ at four loops in QED

We review the four-loop QED corrections to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon. The fermionic contributions with closed electron and tau contributions are discussed. Furthermore, we report on a new independent calculation of the universal four-loop contribution and compare with existing results.

NNLO QCD counterterm contributions to $B$ \to $X_s γ$ for the physical value of $m_c$

One of the most important O($α_s^2$) corrections to the $B \to X_s γ$ branching ratio originates from interference of contributions from the current-current and photonic dipole operators. Its value has been estimated using an interpolation in the charm quark mass between the known results at $m_c=0$ and for $m_c \ll m_b/2$. An explicit calculation for the physical value of $m_c$ is necessary to remove the associated uncertainty. In the present work, we evaluate all the ultraviolet counterterm contributions that are relevant for this purpose.

Hadronic Higgs boson decay at order $α_s^4$ and $α_s^5$

We compute corrections to the decay of the Standard Model Higgs boson to hadrons, to the fourth order in the strong coupling constant $α_s$. We use an effective theory in which the Higgs boson couples directly to bottom quarks and to gluons, via top quark--mediated effective couplings. Numerically, our results are of a comparable size to the previously-known "massless" contributions and complete the order $α_s^4$ corrections to the hadronic decay of the Higgs boson. In these proceedings we also provide an independent cross check of the gluonic Higgs boson decay at order $α_s^5$.

The $n_f^2$ contributions to fermionic four-loop form factors

We compute the four-loop contributions to the photon quark and Higgs quark form factors involving two closed fermion loops. We present analytical results for all non-planar master integrals of the two non-planar integral families which enter our calculation.

High energy behaviour of form factors

We solve renormalization group equations that govern infrared divergences of massless and massive form factors. By comparing to recent results for planar massive three-loop and massless four-loop form factors in QCD, we give predictions for the high-energy limit of massive form factors at the four- and for the massless form factor at five-loop order. Furthermore, we discuss the relation which connects infrared divergences regularized dimensionally and via a small quark mass and extend results present in the literature to higher order.

Version 3 of {\tt RunDec} and {\tt CRunDec}

We present new versions of the packages {\tt RunDec} and {\tt CRunDec} which can be used for the running and decoupling of the strong coupling constant and quark masses. Furthermore several conversion formulae for heavy quark masses are implemented. The new versions include five-loop corrections of the QCD beta function and four-loop decoupling effects. Furthermore, various relations between the heavy quark mass defined in the $\overline{\rm MS}$ and other short-distance schemes are implemented to next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order. We discuss in detail the improvements and provide several examples which show how {\tt RunDec} and {\tt CRunDec} can be used in frequently occurring situations.

Completing the hadronic Higgs boson decay at order $α_s^4$

We compute four-loop corrections to the hadronic decay of the Standard Model Higgs boson which are induced by effective couplings to bottom quarks and gluons, mediated by the top quark. Our numerical results are comparable in size to the purely massless contributions which have been known for a few years. The results presented in this paper complete the order $α_s^4$ corrections to the hadronic Higgs boson decay.

Weak Radiative Decays of the B Meson and Bounds on $M_{H^\pm}$ in the Two-Higgs-Doublet Model

In a recent publication [6], the Belle collaboration updated their analysis of the inclusive weak radiative B-meson decay, including the full dataset of (772 +_ 11) x 10^6 BBbar pairs. Their result for the branching ratio is now below the Standard Model prediction [7,8], though it remains consistent with it. However, bounds on the charged Higgs boson mass in the Two-Higgs-Doublet Model get affected in a significant manner. In the so-called Model-II, the 95% C.L. lower bound on $M_{H^\pm}$ is now in the 570-800 GeV range, depending quite sensitively on the method applied for its determination. Our present note is devoted to presenting and discussing the updated bounds, as well as to clarifying several ambiguities that one might encounter in evaluating them. One of such ambiguities stems from the photon energy cutoff choice, which deserves re-consideration in view of the improved experimental accuracy.

Massive three-loop form factor in the planar limit

We compute the three-loop QCD corrections to the massive quark-anti-quark-photon form factors $F_1$ and $F_2$ in the large-$N_c$ limit. The analytic results are expressed in terms of Goncharov polylogarithms. This allows for a straightforward numerical evaluation. We also derive series expansions, including power suppressed terms, for three kinematic regions corresponding to small and large invariant masses of the photon momentum, and small velocities of the heavy quarks.

On top quark mass effects to $gg\to ZH$ at NLO

We compute next-to-leading order QCD corrections to the process $gg\to ZH$. In the effective-theory approach we confirm the results in the literature. We consider top quark mass corrections via an asymptotic expansion and show that there is a good convergence below the top quark threshold which describes approximately {\num a quarter} of the total cross section. Our corrections are implemented in the publicly available {\tt C++} program {\tt ggzh}.

$\overline{\rm MS}$-on-shell quark mass relation up to four loops in QCD and a general SU$(N)$ gauge group

In this paper we compute the relation between heavy quark masses defined in the modified minimal subtraction and on-shell scheme. Detailed results are presented for all coefficients of the SU$(N_c)$ colour factors. The reduction of the four-loop on-shell integrals is performed for a general QCD gauge parameter. Some of the about 380 master integrals are computed analytically, others with high numerical precision based on Mellin-Barnes representations, and the rest numerically with the help of {\tt FIESTA}. We discuss in detail the precise numerical evaluation of the four-loop master integrals. Updated relations between various short-distance masses and the $\overline{\rm MS}$ quark mass to next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order accuracy are provided for the charm, bottom and top quark. We discuss the dependence on the renormalization and factorization scale.

A planar four-loop form factor and cusp anomalous dimension in QCD

We compute the fermionic contribution to the photon-quark form factor to four-loop order in QCD in the planar limit in analytic form. From the divergent part of the latter the cusp and collinear anomalous dimensions are extracted. Results are also presented for the finite contribution. We briefly describe our method to compute all planar master integrals at four-loop order.
