Martingale optimal transport duality

We obtain a dual representation of the Kantorovich functional defined for functions on the Skorokhod space using quotient sets. Our representation takes the form of a Choquet capacity generated by martingale measures satisfying additional constraints to ensure compatibility with the quotient sets. These sets contain stochastic integrals defined pathwise and two such definitions starting with simple integrands are given. Another important ingredient of our analysis is a regularized version of Jakubowski's $S$-topology on the Skorokhod space.

The Riesz representation theorem and weak${}^*$ compactness of semimartingales

We show that the sequential closure of a family of probability measures on the canonical space of c{à}dl{à}g paths satisfying Stricker's uniform tightness condition is a weak${}^*$ compact set of semimartingale measures in the pairing of the Riesz representation theorem under topological assumptions on the path space. Similar results are obtained for quasi- and supermartingales under analogous conditions. In particular, we give a full characterization of the strongest topology on the Skorokhod space for which these results are true.

Optional and predictable projections of normal integrands and convex-valued processes

This article studies optional and predictable projections of integrands and convex-valued stochastic processes. The existence and uniqueness are shown under general conditions that are analogous to those for conditional expectations of integrands and random sets. In the convex case, duality correspondences between the projections and projections of epigraphs are given. These results are used to study projections of set-valued integrands. Consistently with the general theory of stochastic processes, projections are not constructed using reference measures on the optional and predictable sigma-algebras.
