Gravitational waves from a Weyl-Integrable manifold: a new formalism

We study the variational principle over an Hilbert-Einstein like action for an extended geometry taking into account torsion and non-metricity. By extending the semi-Riemannian geometry, we obtain an effective energy-momentum tensor which can be interpreted as physical sources. As an application we develop a new manner to obtain the gravitational wave equations on a Weyl-integrable manifold taking into account the non-metricity and non-trivial boundary conditions on the minimization of the action, which can be identified as possible sources for the cosmological constant and provides two different equations for gravitational waves. We examine gravitational waves in a pre-inflationary cosmological model.

Inflationary back-reaction effects from Relativistic Quantum Geometry

We study the dynamics of scalar metric fluctuations in a non-perturbative variational formalism recently introduced, by which the dynamics of an geometrical scalar field $θ$, describes the quantum geometrical effects on a Weylian-like manifold with respect to a background Riemannian space-time. In this letter we have examined an example in the framework of inflationary cosmology. The resulting spectral predictions are in very good agreement with observations and other models of inflation.

Towards relativistic quantum geometry

We obtain a gauge-invariant relativistic quantum geometry by using a Weylian-like manifold with a geometric scalar field which provides a gauge-invariant relativistic quantum theory in which the algebra of the Weylian-like field depends on observers. An example for a Reissner-Nordström black-hole is studied.

WIMT in Gullstränd-Painlevé and Reissner-Nordström metrics: induced Stable Gravito-magnetic Monopoles

The aim of this work is to apply WIMT to Gullstránd-Painlevé and Reissner-Nordström metrics in the framework of Weitzeböck Induced Matter Theory (WIMT). This is a newly developed method that extends Induced Matter Theory from a curved 5D manifold using the Weitzeböck's geometry, using the fact that the Riemann-Weitzeböck curvature tensor is always null. We obtain the presence of currents whose interpretation can lead to the presence of stable gravito-magnetic monopoles.

Discrete Modes in Gravitational Waves from the Big-Bang

We develop a new approach to gravitational waves in which the Einstein equations are governed by the cosmological constant which is related to the existence of a manifold which is closed. We study an example in which the matter Lagrangian is described by the scalar (inflaton) field. There are only three dynamical solutions. In one of them the universe is initially static but begins to increase until an inflationary stage. We calculate the dynamics of GW in this primordial pre-inflationary stage of the universe. We found that there should be an infinite number of polarization modes in order to the fields can be quantized. Finally, we calculate the energy density due to the gravitational waves.

Quantized gravitomagnetic charges from WIMT: cosmological consequences

Using the formalism of Weitzenböck induced matter theory (WIMT) we calculate the gravito-magnetic charge on a topological string which is induced through a foliation on a five-dimensional (5D) gravito-electromagnetic vacuum defined on a 5D Ricci-flat metric, which produces a symmetry breaking on an axis. We obtain the resonant result that the quantized charges are induced on the effective four-dimensional hypersurface. This quantization describes the behavior of a test gravito-electric charge in the vicinity of a point gravito-magnetic monopole, both geometrically induced from a 5D vacuum. We demonstrate how gravito-magnetic monopoles would decrease exponentially during the inflationary expansion of the universe.

Perihelion advances for the orbits of Mercury, Earth and Pluto from Extended Theory of General Relativity (ETGR)

We explore the geodesic movement on an effective four-dimensional hypersurface that is embedded in a five-dimensional Ricci-flat manifold described by a canonical metric, in order to applying to planetary orbits in our solar system. Some important solutions are given, which provide the standard solutions of general relativity without any extra force component. We study the perihelion advances of Mercury, the Earth and Pluto using the extended theory of general relativity (ETGR). Our results are in very good agreement with observations and show how the foliation is determinant to the value of the perihelion's advances. Possible applications are not limited to these kinds of orbits.

Present accelerated expansion of the universe from new Weyl-Integrable gravity approach

We investigate if a recently introduced formulation of general relativity on a Weyl-integrable geometry, contains cosmological solutions exhibiting acceleration in the present cosmic expansion. We derive the general conditions to have acceleration in the expansion of the universe and obtain a particular solution for the Weyl scalar field describing a cosmological model for the present time in concordance with the data combination Planck + WP + BAO + SN.

Gravitomagnetic currents in the inflationary universe from WIMT

Using the Weitzenböck representation of a Riemann-flat 5D spacetime, we study the possible existence of primordial gravito-magnetic currents from Gravito-electromagnetic Inflation (GEMI). We found that these currents decrease exponentially in the Weitzenböck representation, but they are null in a Levi-Civita representation because we are dealing with a 5D Riemann-flat spacetime without structure or torsion.

Inflation as a White Hole explosion from a 5D vacuum

Using a new kind of 5D Ricci-flat canonical metric, we obtain by a static foliation an effective 4D Schwarzschild-de Sitter hypersurface. We examine some particular initial conditions which could be responsible for the inflationary expansion of the early universe, which could be driven by the explosion of a White Hole (WH). The zeroth order spectrum outside the WH describes quantum fluctuations, which for a scale invariant power spectrum, can be expressed in terms of the cosmological constant, or the square mass of the WH.

Primordial dark energy from a condensate of spinors in a 5D vacuum

We explore the possibility that the expansion of the universe can be driven by a condensate of spinors which are free of interactions on a 5D relativistic vacuum defined on an extended de Sitter spacetime which is Riemann-flat. The extra coordinate is considered as noncompact. After making a static foliation on the extra coordinate, we obtain an effective 4D (inflationary) de Sitter expansion which describes an inflationary universe. We found that the condensate of spinors here studied could be an interesting candidate to explain the presence of dark energy in the early universe. The dark energy density which we are talking about is poured into smaller sub-horizon scales with the evolution of the inflationary expansion.

The primordial explosion of a false white hole from a 5D vacuum

We explore the cosmological consequences of some possible big bang produced by a black-hole with mass $M$ in an 5D extended SdS. Under these particular circumstances, the effective 4D metric obtained by the use of a constant foliation on the extra coordinate is comported as a false white-hole (FWH), which evaporates for all unstable modes that have wavelengths bigger than the size of the FWH. Outside the white hole the repulsive gravitational field can be considered as weak, so that the dynamics for fluctuations of the inflaton field and the scalar perturbations of the metric can be linearized.

Inflationary dark energy from a condensate of spinors in a 5D vacuum

What is the physical origin of dark energy? Could this energy be originated by other fields than the inflaton? In this work we explore the possibility that the expansion of the universe can be driven by a condensate of spinors. These spinors are free of interactions on 5D relativistic vacuum in an extended de Sitter spacetime. The extra coordinate is considered as noncompact. After making a static foliation on the extra coordinate, we obtain an effective 4D (inflationary) de Sitter expansion which describes an inflationary universe. In view of our results we conclude that the condensate of spinors here studied could be an interesting candidate to explain the presence of dark energy in the early universe.

Scalar fluctuations of the scalar metric during inflation from a non-perturbative 5D large-scale repulsive gravity model

We develop a non-perturbative formalism for scalar metric fluctuations from a 5D extended version of general relativity in vacuum. In this work we concentrate our efforts on calculations valid on large cosmological scales, which are the dominant during the inflationary phase of the universe. The resulting metric in this limit is obtained after implementing a planar coordinate transformation on a 5D Ricci-flat metric solution. We calculate the spectrum of these fluctuations with an effective 4D Schwarzschild-de Sitter spacetime on cosmological scales, which is obtained after we make a static foliation on the non-compact extra coordinate. Our results show how the squared metric fluctuations of the primordial universe become scale invariant with the inflationary expansion.

Natural exit of fresh inflation to a radiation dominated universe

We examine the transition from a fresh inflationary scenario to a radiation dominated universe when the inflaton field is coupled to gravity. We show that this transition is very natural when this coupling is $ξ=1/4$ at the end of fresh inflation. This is a very important result that shows as fresh inflation has a natural exit to the radiation dominated epoch.

Induced Matter Theory of gravity from a Weitzenböck 5D vacuum and pre-big bang collapse of the universe

We extend the Induced Matter Theory of gravity (IMT) to 5D curved spacetimes by using the Weitzenböck representation of connections on a 5D curved spacetime. In this representation the 5D curvature tensor becomes null, so that we can make a static foliation on the extra noncompact coordinate to induce in the Weitzenböck representation the Einstein equations. Once we have done it, we can rewrite the effective 4D Einstein equations in the Levi-Civita representation. This generalization of IMT opens a huge window of possible applications for this theory. A pre-big bang collapsing scenario is explored as an example.

Seminal magnetic fields from Inflato-electromagnetic Inflation

We extend some previous attempts to explain the origin and evolution of primordial magnetic fields during inflation induced from a 5D vacuum. We show that the usual quantum fluctuations of a generalized 5D electromagnetic field cannot provide us with the desired magnetic seeds. We show that special fields without propagation on the extra non-compact dimension are needed to arrive to appreciable magnetic strengths. We also identify a new magnetic tensor field $B_{ij}$ in this kind of extra dimensional theories. Our results are in very good agreement with observational requirements, in particular from TeV Blazars and CMB radiation limits we obtain that primordial cosmological magnetic fields should be close scale invariance.
