A genuine $G$-spectrum for the cut-and-paste $K$-theory of $G$-manifolds

Recent work has applied scissors congruence $K$-theory to study classical cut-and-paste ($SK$) invariants of manifolds. This paper proves the conjecture that the squares $K$-theory of equivariant $SK$-manifolds arises as the fixed points of a genuine $G$-spectrum. Our method utilizes the framework of spectral Mackey functors as models for genuine $G$-spectra, and our main technical result is a general procedure for constructing spectral Mackey functors using squares $K$-theory.

A linearization map for genuine equivariant algebraic $K$-theory

We introduce a version of algebraic $K$-theory for coefficient systems of rings which is valued in genuine $G$-spectra for a finite group $G$. We use this construction to build a genuine $G$-spectrum $K_G(\mathbb{Z}[\underline{π_1(X)}])$ associated to a $G$-space $X$, which provides a home for equivariant versions of classical invariants like the Wall finiteness obstruction and Whitehead torsion. We provide a comparison between our $K$-theory spectrum and the equivariant $A$-theory of Malkiewich--Merling via a genuine equivariant linearization map.

Equivariant algebraic $K$-theory of symmetric monoidal Mackey functors

We provide a unifying approach to different constructions of the algebraic $K$-theory of equivariant symmetric monoidal categories. A consequence of our work is that every connective genuine $G$-spectrum is equivalent to the equivariant algebraic $K$-theory of categorical Mackey functors of Bohmann-Osorno.

The Spectrum of the Burnside Tambara Functor of a Cyclic Group

We derive a family of prime ideals of the Burnside Tambara functor for a finite group $G$. In the case of cyclic groups, this family comprises the entire prime spectrum. We include some partial results towards the same result for a larger class of groups.

The Tambara Structure of the Trace Ideal for Cyclic Extensions

This paper explores the Tambara functor structure of the trace ideal of a Galois extension. In the case of a (pro-)cyclic extension, we are able to explicitly determine the generators of the ideal. Furthermore, we show that the absolute trace ideal of a cyclic group is strongly principal when viewed as an ideal of the Burnside Tambara Functor. Applying our results, we calculate the trace ideal for extensions of finite fields. The appendix determines a formula for the norm of a quadratic form over an arbitrary finite extension of a finite field.

Sharp sectional curvature bounds and a new proof of The Spectral Theorem

We algebraically compute all possible sectional curvature values for canonical algebraic curvature tensors, and use this result to give a method for constructing general sectional curvature bounds. We use a well-known method to geometrically realize these results to produce a hypersurface with prescribed sectional curvatures at a point. By extending our methods, we give a relatively short proof of the Spectral Theorem for self-adjoint operators on a finite dimensional real vector space.
