Partial regularity of suitable weak solutions to the incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations

This paper establishes a regularity theory for the magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) equations with external forces through scaling analysis. Inspired by the existing methodology, we utilize linearized approximations and the monotonicity property of harmonic functions to construct iterative sequences capturing scaling properties. This work successfully extends Navier-Stokes techniques to MHD coupling and demonstrates that the one dimensional parabolic Hausdorff measure of the possible singular points for the suitable weak solutions is zero.

Quantitative analysis and its applications for Keller-Segel type systems

In this paper, we utilize the De Giorgi iteration to quantitatively analyze the upper bound of solutions for Keller-Segel type systems. The refined upper bound estimate presented here has broad applications in determining large time behaviours of weak solutions and improving the regularity for models involving the $p$-Laplace operator. To demonstrate the applicability of our findings, we investigate the asymptotic stability of a chemotaxis model with nonlinear signal production and a chemotaxis-Navier-Stokes model with a logistic source. Additionally, within the context of $p$-Laplacian diffusion, we establish Hölder continuity for a chemotaxis-haptotaxis model and a chemotaxis-Stokes model.

Local behaviour of the mixed local and nonlocal problems with nonstandard growth

We consider the mixed local and nonlocal functionals with nonstandard growth \begin{eqnarray*} u\mapsto\int_Ω(|Du|^p-f(x)u)\,dx+\int_{\mathbb{R}^N}\int_{\mathbb{R}^N}\frac{|u(x)-u(y)|^q}{|x-y|^{N+sq}}\,dxdy \end{eqnarray*} with $1 sq$ in [De Filippis-Mingione, Math. Generalized solutions to a chemotaxis-Navier-Stokes system with arbitrary superlinear degradation

In this work, we study a chemotaxis-Navier-Stokes model in a two-dimensional setting as below, \begin{eqnarray} \left\{ \begin{array}{llll} \displaystyle n_{t}+\mathbf{u}\cdot\nabla n=Δn-\nabla \cdot(n\nabla c)+f(n), &&x\inΩ,\,t>0,\\ \displaystyle c_{t}+\mathbf{u}\cdot\nabla c=Δc - c+ n, &&x\inΩ,\,t>0,\\ \displaystyle \mathbf{u}_{t}+κ(\mathbf{u}\cdot\nabla)\mathbf{u}=Δ\mathbf{u} +\nabla P+ n\nablaϕ, &&x\inΩ,\,t>0,\\ \displaystyle \nabla\cdot\mathbf{u}=0,&&x\inΩ,\,t>0.\\ \end{array} \right. \end{eqnarray} Motivated by a recent work due to Winkler, we aim at investigating generalized solvability for the model the without imposing a critical superlinear exponent restriction on the logistic source function $f$. Specifically, it is proven in the present work that there exists a triple of integrable functions $(n,c,\mathbf{u})$ solving the system globally in a generalized sense provided that $f\in C^1([0,\infty))$ satisfies $f(0)\ge0$ and $f(n)\le rn-μn^γ$ ($n\ge0$) with any $γ>1$. Our result indicates that persistent Dirac-type singularities can be ruled out in our model under the aforementioned mild assumption on $f$. After giving the existence result for the system, we also show that the generalized solution exhibits eventual smoothness as long as $μ/r$ is sufficiently large.

Global existence, boundedness and asymptotic behavior to a logistic chemotaxis model with density-signal governed sensitivity and signal absorption

In present paper, we consider a chemotaxis consumption system with density-signal governed sensitivity and logistic source: $u_t=Δu-\nabla\cdot(\frac{S(u)}{v}\nabla v)+ru-μu^2$, $v_t=Δv-uv$ in a smooth bounded domain $Ω\subset\mathbb{R}^n$ $(n\ge2)$, where parameters $r,μ>0$ and density governed sensitivity fulfills $ S(u) \simeq u(u+1)^{β-1}$ for all $u\ge0$ with $β\in \mathbb{R}$. It is proved that for any $r,μ>0$, there exists a global classical solution if $β<1$ and $n\ge2$. Moreover, the global boundedness and the asymptotic behavior of the classical solution are determined for the case $β\in[0,1)$ in two dimensional setting, that is, the global solution $(u,v)$ is uniformly bounded in time and $\Big(u,v,\frac{|\nabla v|}{v}\Big)\longrightarrow\Big(\frac{r}μ,0,0\Big)~in~L^{\infty}(Ω)~as~t\rightarrow\infty$, provided $μ$ sufficiently large.
