Bianchi type-I model with cosmic string in the presence of a magnetic field: spinor description

A Bianchi type-I cosmological model in the presence of a magnetic flux along a cosmic string is investigated. A nonlinear spinor field is used to simulate the cosmological cloud of strings. It is shown that the spinor field simulation offer the possibility to solve the system of Einstein's equation without any additional assumptions. It is shown that the present model is nonsingular at the end of the evolution and does not allow the anisotropic Universe to turn into an isotropic one.

Higher order first integrals of motion in a gauge covariant Hamiltonian framework

The higher order symmetries are investigated in a covariant Hamiltonian formulation. The covariant phase-space approach is extended to include the presence of external gauge fields and scalar potentials. The special role of the Killing-Yano tensors is pointed out. Some non-trivial examples involving Runge-Lenz type conserved quantities are explicitly worked out.

Bianchi type-I string cosmological model in the presence of a magnetic flux: exact and qualitative solutions

A Bianchi type-I cosmological model in the presence of a magnetic flux along a cosmological string is investigated. The objective of this study is to generate solutions to the Einstein equations using a few tractable assumptions usually accepted in the literature. The analytical solutions are supplemented with numerical and qualitative analysis. In the frame of the present model the evolution of the Universe and other physical aspects are discussed.

Hidden symmetries and Killing tensors on curved spaces

Higher order symmetries corresponding to Killing tensors are investigated. The intimate relation between Killing-Yano tensors and non-standard supersymmetries is pointed out. In the Dirac theory on curved spaces, Killing-Yano tensors generate Dirac type operators involved in interesting algebraic structures as dynamical algebras or even infinite dimensional algebras or superalgebras. The general results are applied to space-times which appear in modern studies. One presents the infinite dimensional superalgebra of Dirac type operators on the 4-dimensional Euclidean Taub-NUT space that can be seen as a twisted loop algebra. The existence of the conformal Killing-Yano tensors is investigated for some spaces with mixed Sasakian structures.

String cosmological model in the presence of a magnetic flux

A Bianchi type I string cosmological model in the presence of a magnetic flux is investigated. A few plausible assumptions regarding the parametrization of the cosmic string and magneto-fluid are introduced and some exact analytical solutions are presented.

Nonholonomic Ricci Flows and Running Cosmological Constant: 3D Taub-NUT Metrics

The common assertion that the Ricci flows of Einstein spaces with cosmological constant can be modelled by certain classes of nonholonomic frame, metric and linear connection deformations resulting in nonhomogeneous Einstein spaces is examined in the light of the role played by topological three dimensional (3D) Taub-NUT-AdS/dS spacetimes.

Infinite loop superalgebras of the Dirac theory on the Euclidean Taub-NUT space

The Dirac theory in the Euclidean Taub-NUT space gives rise to a large collection of conserved operators associated to genuine or hidden symmetries. They are involved in interesting algebraic structures as dynamical algebras or even infinite-dimensional algebras or superalgebras. One presents here the infinite-dimensional superalgebra specific to the Dirac theory in manifolds carrying the Gross-Perry-Sorkin monopole. It is shown that there exists an infinite-dimensional superalgebra that can be seen as a twisted loop superalgebra.

Nonholonomic Ricci Flows and Running Cosmological Constant: I. 4D Taub-NUT Metrics

In this work we construct and analyze exact solutions describing Ricci flows and nonholonomic deformations of four dimensional (4D) Taub-NUT spacetimes. It is outlined a new geometric techniques of constructing Ricci flow solutions. Some conceptual issues on spacetimes provided with generic off-diagonal metrics and associated nonlinear connection structures are analyzed. The limit from gravity/Ricci flow models with nontrivial torsion to configurations with the Levi-Civita connection is allowed in some specific physical circumstances by constraining the class of integral varieties for the Einstein and Ricci flow equations.

Fermion on Curved Spaces, Symmetries, and Quantum Anomalies

We review the geodesic motion of pseudo-classical spinning particles in curved spaces. Investigating the generalized Killing equations for spinning spaces, we express the constants of motion in terms of Killing-Yano tensors. Passing from the spinning spaces to the Dirac equation in curved backgrounds we point out the role of the Killing-Yano tensors in the construction of the Dirac-type operators. The general results are applied to the case of the four-dimensional Euclidean Taub-Newman-Unti-Tamburino space. The gravitational and axial anomalies are studied for generalized Euclidean Taub-NUT metrics which admit hidden symmetries analogous to the Runge-Lenz vector of the Kepler-type problem. Using the Atiyah-Patodi-Singer index theorem for manifolds with boundaries, it is shown that the these metrics make no contribution to the axial anomaly.

Bel-Robinson tensor and dominant energy property in the Bianchi type I Universe

Within the framework of Bianchi type-I space-time we study the Bel-Robinson tensor and its impact on the evolution of the Universe. We use different definitions of the Bel-Robinson tensor existing in the literature and compare the results. Finally we investigate the so called "dominant super-energy property" for the Bel-Robinson tensor as a generalization of the usual dominant energy condition for energy momentum tensors. Superalgebras of Dirac operators on manifolds with special Killing-Yano tensors

We present the properties of new Dirac-type operators generated by real or complex-valued special Killing-Yano tensors that are covariantly constant and represent roots of the metric tensor. In the real case these are just the so called complex or hyper-complex structures of the K\" ahlerian manifolds. Such a Killing-Yano tensor produces simultaneously a Dirac-type operator and the generator of a one-parameter Lie group connecting this operator with the standard Dirac one. In this way the Dirac operators are related among themselves through continuous transformations associated with specific discrete ones. We show that the group of these continuous transformations can be only U(1) or SU(2). It is pointed out that the Dirac and Dirac-type operators can form N=4 superalgebras whose automorphisms combine isometries with the SU(2) transformation generated by the Killing-Yano tensors. As an example we study the automorphisms of the superalgebras of Dirac operators on Minkowski spacetime.

$L^2$-index of the Dirac operator of generalized Euclidean Taub-NUT metrics

We compute the axial anomaly for the Taub-NUT metric on $R^4$. We show that the axial anomaly for the generalized Taub-NUT metrics introduced by Iwai and Katayama is finite, although the Dirac operator is not Fredholm. We show that the essential spectrum of the Dirac operator is the whole real line.

Gravitational and axial anomalies for generalized Euclidean Taub-NUT metrics

The gravitational anomalies are investigated for generalized Euclidean Taub-NUT metrics which admit hidden symmetries analogous to the Runge-Lenz vector of the Kepler-type problem. In order to evaluate the axial anomalies, the index of the Dirac operator for these metrics with the APS boundary condition is computed. The role of the Killing-Yano tensors is discussed for these two types of quantum anomalies.

Symmetries of the Dirac operators associated with covariantly constant Killing-Yano tensors

The continuous and discrete symmetries of the Dirac-type operators produced by particular Killing-Yano tensors are studied in manifolds of arbitrary dimensions. The Killing-Yano tensors considered are covariantly constant and realize certain square roots of the metric tensor. Such a Killing-Yano tensor produces simultaneously a Dirac-type operator and the generator of a one-parameter Lie group connecting this operator with the standard Dirac one. The Dirac operators are related among themselves through continuous or discrete transformations. It is shown that the groups of the continuous symmetry can be only U(1) and SU(2), specific to (hyper-)Kahler spaces, but arising even in cases when the requirements for these special geometries are not fulfilled. The discrete symmetries are also studied obtaining the discrete groups Z_4 and Q. The briefly presented examples are the Euclidean Taub-NUT space and the Minkowski spacetime.
