Consequences of Deformation of the Heisenberg Algebra

In this paper we will demonstrate that like the existence of a minimum measurable length, the existence of a maximum measurable momentum, also influence all quantum mechanical systems. Beyond the simple one dimensional case, the existence of a maximum momentum will induce non-local corrections to the first quantized Hamiltonian. However, these non-local corrections can be effectively treated as local corrections by using the theory of harmonic extensions of functions. We will also analyses the second quantization of this deformed first quantized theory. Finally, we will analyses the gauge symmetry corresponding to this deformed theory.

Polyakov Loops for the ABJ Theory

In this paper we will first construct Polyakov loops for the ABJ theory. Then we will construct the connection and curvature in this loop space. We will also analyse certain generalization of Polyakov loops and apply them to the ABJ theory. Finally, we will use this formalism for analysing topological defects like monopoles in the ABJ theory.

Noether's Charge in the Super-Group Field Cosmology

In this paper we will analyse the third quantization of a model of super-group field cosmology with gauge symmetry. The effect of creation and annihilation of bosonic and fermionic universes in the multiverse will also be analysed. We will also construct a third quantized Noether's charge which will be conserved even when the number of universes is not conserved. Finally, we will construct both the third quantized BRST and the third quantized anti-BRST charges for this theory and use them to show that the creation and annihilation of universes is a unitarity process.

Boundary Effects in the BLG Theory

In this paper we will analyse a system of multiple M2-branes in between two M5-branes. This will be analysed by studying Bagger-Lambert-Gustavsson (BLG) theory on a manifold with two boundaries. The original BLG theory will be modified to make it gauge and supersymmetric invariant in presence of the boundaries. However, this modified theory will only preserve half the supersymmetry of the original theory. We will also analyse the deformation of this theory caused by noncommutativity between Grassman coordinates and spacetime coordinates. Finally, we will analyse the Higgsing of this theory to deformed D2-branes with boundaries.

Fourth Quantization

In this paper we will analyse the creation of the multiverse. We will first calculate the wave function for the multiverse using third quantization. Then we will fourth quantize this theory. We will show that there is no single vacuum state for this theory. Thus, we can end up with a multiverse, even after starting from a vacuum state. This will be used as a possible explanation for the creation of the multiverse. We also analyse the effect of interactions in this fourth quantized theory.

Absence of Black Holes Information Paradox in Group Field Cosmology

In this paper we will analyse the black hole information paradox in group field cosmology. We will first construct a group field cosmology with third quantized gauge symmetry. Then we will argue that that in this group field cosmology the process that change the topology of spacetime are unitarity process. Thus, the information paradox from this perspective appears only because we are using a second quantized formalism to explain a third quantized process. A similar paradox would also occur if we analyse a second quantized process in first quantized formalism. Hence, we will demonstrated that in reality there is no information paradox but only a breakdown of the second quantized formalism.

Superloop Space

In this paper will construct and analyse the superloop space formulation of a $\mathcal{N} =1$ supergauge theory in three dimensions. We will obtain expressions for the connection and the curvature in this superloop space in terms of ordinary supergauge fields. This curvature will vanish, unless there is a monopole in the spacetime. We will also construct a quantity which will give the monopole charge in this formalism. Finally, we will show how these results even hold for a deformed superspace.

Finite BRST Transformations for the Bagger-Lambert-Gustavasson Theory

In this paper we analyse the Bagger-Lambert-Gustavsson (BLG) theory in $\mathcal{N} =1$ superspace. Furthermore, we will construct the BRST transformations for this theory. These BRST transformations will be integrated out to obtain the finite field dependent version of BRST (FFBRST) transformations. We will also analyse the effect of the FFBRST transformations on the effective action. We will thus show that the FFBRST transformations can be used to relate generating functionals of the BLG theory in two different gauges.

Noncommutative Quantum Gravity

We discuss the BRST and anti-BRST symmetries for perturbative quantum gravity in noncommutative spacetime. In this noncommutative perturbative quantum gravity the sum of the classical Lagrangian density with a gauge fixing term and a ghost term is shown to be invariant the noncommutative BRST and the noncommutative anti-BRST transformations. We analyse the gauge fixing term and the ghost term in both linear as well as non-linear gauges. We also discuss the unitarity evolution of the theory and analyse the violation of unitarity of by introduction of a bare mass term in the noncommutative BRST and the noncommutative anti-BRST transformations.

Chern-Simons-Matter Theory

In this paper we will deform a ABJ theory in $\mathcal{N}= 3$ harmonic superspace without breaking any supersymmetry. We will analyse this ABJ theory and show that it retains the full $\mathcal{N}= 6$ supersymmetry. We will then analyse the gauge fixing and ghost terms for this model in various gauges. We will also analyse the corresponding BRST and anti-BRST symmetries of this model.

Aspects of ABJ Theory

In this paper we will analyse the deformation of a ABJ theory in harmonic superspace. So, we will first discuss deformations of the harmonic superspace by a graviphoton background and then study the ABJ theory in this deformed harmonic superspace. This deformed ABJ theory will be shown to posses $\mathcal{N} =6$ supersymmetry. We also discuss the BRST symmetry of this theory.

Convection in Drying and Freezing Ground

In this paper we analyse the drying of a soil composed of particles, water and solute impurities, and study the occurrence of convective instabilities during evaporation. We find that the main driving force for instability is the formation of a concentration gradient at the soil surface due to the evaporation of water. A similar phenomenon may occur during the thawing of frozen ground in Arctic regions.

Non-anticommutative ABJ Theory

In this paper we will discuss non-anticommutative deformations of the harmonic superspace. We will analyse the non-anticommutative deformation of the superspace that break the supersymmetry from $\mathcal{N} =3$ supersymmetry to $\mathcal{N} =2$ supersymmetry. We will then study the ABJ theory in this non-anticommutative superspace. This deformed ABJ theory will be shown to posses $\mathcal{N} =5$ supersymmetry.

Non-anticommutativity in Presence of a Boundary

In this paper we consider non-anticommutative field theories in $\mathcal{N} =2$ superspace formalism on three-dimensional manifolds with a boundary. We modify the original Lagrangian in such a way that it preserves half the supersymmetry even in the presence of a boundary. We also analyse the partial breaking of supersymmetry caused by non-anticommutativity between fermionic coordinates. Unlike in four dimensions, in three dimensions a theory with $\mathcal{N} =1/2$ supersymmetry cannot be obtained by a non-anticommutative deformation of an $\mathcal{N} =1$ theory. However, in this paper we construct a three dimensional theory with $\mathcal{N} =1/2$ supersymmetry by studying a combination of non-anticommutativity and boundary effects, starting from $\mathcal{N} =2$ supersymmetry.

Super-Group Field Cosmology

In this paper we construct a model for group field cosmology. The classical equations of motion for the non-interactive part of this model generate the Hamiltonian constraint of loop quantum gravity for a homogeneous isotropic universe filled with a scalar matter field. The interactions represent topology changing processes that occurs due to joining and splitting of universes. These universes in the multiverse are assumed to obey both bosonic and fermionic statistics, and so a supersymmetric multiverse is constructed using superspace formalism. We also introduce gauge symmetry in this model. The supersymmetry and gauge symmetry are introduced at the level of third quantized fields, and not the second quantized ones. This is the first time that supersymmetry has been discussed at the level of third quantized fields.

Deformed Super-Yang-Mills in Batalin-Vilkovisky Formalism

In this paper we will analyse a three dimensional super-Yang-Mills theory on a deformed superspace with boundaries. We show that it is possible to obtain an undeformed theory on the boundary if the bulk superspace is deformed by imposing a non-vanishing commutator between bosonic and fermionic coordinates. We will also analyse this theory in the Batalin-Vilkovisky (BV) formalism and show that these results also hold at a quantum level.

M-Theory on Deformed Superspace

In this paper we will analyse a noncommutative deformation of the ABJM theory in N=1 superspace formalism. We will then analyse the BRST and the anti-BRST symmetries for this deformed ABJM theory, in linear as well as non-linear gauges. We will show that the sum of gauge fixing term and the ghost term for this deformed ABJM theory can be expressed as a combination of the total BRST and the total anti-BRST variation, in Landau and non-linear gauges. We will show that in Landau and Curci-Ferrari gauges this deformed ABJM theory is invariant under a additional set of symmetry transformations. We will also discuss the effect that the addition of a bare mass term has on this theory.

Physical equivalence between the covariant and physical graviton two-point functions in de Sitter spacetime

It is known that the covariant graviton two-point function in de Sitter spacetime is infrared divergent for some choices of gauge parameters. On the other hand it is also known that there are no infrared divergences requiring an infrared cutoff for the physical graviton two-point function for this spacetime in the transverse-traceless-synchronous gauge in the global coordinate system. We show in this paper that the covariant graviton Wightman two-point function with two gauge parameters is equivalent to the physical one in the global coordinate system in the sense that they produce the same two-point function of any local gauge-invariant tensor linear in the graviton field such as the linearized Weyl tensor. This confirms the fact, pointed out decades ago, that the infrared divergences of the graviton two-point function in the covariant gauge for some choices of gauge parameters are gauge artifact in the sense that they do not contribute to the Wightman two-point function of any local gauge invariant tensor field in linearized theory.
