A New Product Formula Involving Bessel Functions

In this paper, we consider the normalized Bessel function of index $α> -\frac{1}{2}$, we find an integral representation of the term $x^nj_{α+n}(x)j_α(y)$. This allows us to establish a product formula for the generalized Hankel function $B^{κ,n}_λ$ on $\mathbb{R}$. $B^{κ,n}_λ$ is the kernel of the integral transform $\mathcal{F}_{κ,n}$ arising from the Dunkl theory. Indeed we show that $B^{κ,n}_λ(x)B^{κ,n}_λ(y)$ can be expressed as an integral in terms of $B^{κ,n}_λ(z)$ with explicit kernel invoking Gegenbauer polynomials for all $n\in\mathbb{N}^\ast$. The obtained result generalizes the product formulas proved by M. Rösler for Dunkl kernel when n=1 and by S. Ben Said when $n=2$. \\ As application, we define and study a translation operator and a convolution structure associated to $B^{κ,n}_λ$. They share many important properties with their analogous in the classical Fourier theory.

Discrete harmonic functions in Lipschitz domains

We prove the existence and uniqueness of a discrete nonnegative harmonic function for a random walk satisfying finite range, centering and ellipticity conditions, killed when leaving a globally Lipschitz domain in $\mathbb{Z}^d$. Our method is based on a systematic use of comparison arguments and discrete potential-theoretical techniques.

On a family of differential-reflection operators: intertwining operators and Fourier transform of rapidly decreasing functions

We introduce a family of differential-reflection operators $Λ_{A, \varepsilon}$ acting on smooth functions defined on $\mathbb R.$ Here $A$ is a Strum-Liouville function with additional hypotheses and $\varepsilon\in \mathbb R.$ For special pairs $(A,\varepsilon),$ we recover Dunkl's, Heckman's and Cherednik's operators (in one dimension). The spectral problem for the operators $Λ_{A, \varepsilon}$ is studied. In particular, we obtain suitable growth estimates for the eigenfunctions of $Λ_{A, \varepsilon}$. As the operators $Λ_{A, \varepsilon}$ are mixture of $d/dx$ and reflection operators, we prove the existence of an intertwining operator $V_{A,\varepsilon}$ between $Λ_{A, \varepsilon}$ and the usual derivative. The positivity of $V_{A,\varepsilon}$ is also established. Via the eigenfunctions of $Λ_{A,\varepsilon},$ we introduce a generalized Fourier transform $\mathcal F_{A,\varepsilon}.$ An $L^p$-harmonic analysis for $\mathcal F_{A,\varepsilon}$ is developed when $0<p\leq {2\over{1+\sqrt{1-\varepsilon^2}}}$ and $-1\leq \varepsilon\leq 1.$ In particular, an $L^p$-Schwartz space isomorphism theorem for $\mathcal F_{A,\varepsilon}$ is proved.

Opdam's hypergeometric functions: product formula and convolution structure in dimension 1

Let $G_λ^{(α,β)}$ be the eigenfunctions of the Dunkl-Cherednik operator $T^{(α,β)}$ on $\mathbb{R}$. In this paper we express the product $G_λ^{(α,β)}(x)G_λ^{(α,β)}(y)$ as an integral in terms of $G_λ^{(α,β)}(z)$ with an explicit kernel. In general this kernel is not positive. Furthermore, by taking the so-called rational limit, we recover the product formula of M. Rösler for the Dunkl kernel. We then define and study a convolution structure associated to $G_λ^{(α,β)}$.

Three results in Dunkl theory

In this article, we establish first a geometric Paley-Wiener theorem for the Dunkl transform in the crystallographic case. Next we obtain an optimal bound for the $L^p\to L^p$ norm of Dunkl translations in dimension 1. Finally we describe more precisely the support of the distribution associated to Dunkl translations in higher dimension.

Besov-Type Spaces on $R^d$ and Integrability for the Dunkl Transform

In this paper, we show the inclusion and the density of the Schwartz space in Besov-Dunkl spaces and we prove an interpolation formula for these spaces by the real method. We give another characterization for these spaces by convolution. Finally, we establish further results concerning integrability of the Dunkl transform of function in a suitable Besov-Dunkl space.
