Symmetry-Resolved Entanglement Entropy for Local and Non-local QFTs

In this paper, we investigate symmetry-resolved entanglement entropy (SREE) in free bosonic quantum many-body systems. Utilizing a lattice regularization scheme, we compute symmetry-resolved Rényi entropies for free complex scalar fields and a specific class of non-local field theories, where entanglement entropy (EE) exhibits volume-law scaling. We present effective and approximate eigenvalues for the correlation matrix used in computing SREE and demonstrate their consistency with numerical results. Furthermore, we explore the equipartition of EE, verifying its effective behavior in the massless limit. Finally, we comment on EE in non-local quantum field theories and provide an explicit expression for the symmetry-resolved Rényi entropies.

Position dependence of Nielsen complexity for the Thermofield double state

In this paper, the Nielsen geometric method is used to study the position dependence of the Nielsen complexity for the thermofield double state of a harmonic oscillator. We present the state shift under the influence of an external electric field and demonstrate its importance for the construction of the corresponding circuit. By numerical analysis, we investigate the effect of the frequency and the external field on the dynamics of complexity. Our observation reveals that the system's complexity diminishes considerably with the rise of the frequency. Furthermore, our findings indicate that the complexity exhibits a distinct behavior under a feeble external electric field, as it grows more intricate with the escalation of the frequency. However, with higher magnitudes of the electric field, the system reverts to its prior behavior. We also remark on the influence of the reference state's frequency on the complexity.

Ultimate Limits to Computation: Anharmonic Oscillator

Motivated by studies of ultimate speed of computers, we examine the question of minimum time of orthogonalization in a simple anharmonic oscillator and find an upper bound on the rate of computations. Furthermore, we investigate the growth rate of complexity of operation when the system undergoes a definite perturbation. At the phase space of the parameters, by numerical analysis, we find the critical point where beyond that the rate of complexity changes its behavior.

Non-local Probes of Entanglement in the Scale Invariant Gravity

In this paper, we study the generic action for the scale-invariant theory of gravity and then by making use of the holographic methods, we compute some specific holographic measures of entanglement. Precisely, we calculate the entanglement entropy, mutual and tripartite information and show that the mutual information is always positive while the tripartite information becomes negative. This indeed recovers the monogamy property of mutual information in this context.

Complexity and Near Extremal Charged Black Branes

We compute holographic complexity of charged black brane solutions in arbitrary dimensions for the near horizon limit of near extremal case using two different methods. The corresponding complexity may be obtained either by taking the limit from the complexity of the charged black brane, or by computing the complexity for near horizon limit of near extremal solution. One observes that these results coincide if one assumes to have a cutoff behind horizon whose value is fixed by UV cutoff and also taking into account a proper counterterm evaluated on this cutoff. We also consider the situation for Vaidya charged black branes too.

Holographic Complexity of Subregions in the Hyperscaling Violating Theories

In this paper, we use the complexity equals action proposal and investigate holographic complexity for hyperscaling violating theories on different subregions of space-time enclosed by the null boundaries. We are interested in computing the onshell action for certain subregions of the intersection between the Wheeler DeWitt patch and the past, as well as, the future interior of a two-sided black brane. More precisely, we extend the results of Ref. \cite{Alishahiha:2018lfv} in parts, to hyperscaling violating geometries and to find the finite onshell action, we define the proper counter terms. We show that in computing the rate of complexification the dynamical exponent plays a crucial rule, but, at the late time, rate of the complexity growth is independent of the hyperscaling parameters.

On the Complexity of a Charged Quantum Oscillator

In this paper, we study the effect of both the electric and the magnetic fields on the rate of complexity growth. Our system is a charged quantum oscillator and over a period of time, we study the maximum dynamic evolution of quantum states which might lead to a strong bound on the rate of computation. We show that by turning on the electric field, the rate of complexity decreases whereas this rate has increasing behavior when the magnetic field is turned on. In this regard, we also find a critical value of the magnetic field, beyond which this rate changes its behavior drastically.

Complexity Growth Following Multiple Shocks

In this paper by making use of the "Complexity=Action" proposal, we study the complexity growth after shock waves in holographic field theories. We consider both double black hole-Vaidya and AdS-Vaidya with multiple shocks geometries. We find that the Lloyd's bound is respected during the thermalization process in each of these geometries and at the late time, the complexity growth saturates to the value which is proportional to the energy of the final state. We conclude that the saturation value of complexity growth rate is independent of the initial temperature and in the case of thermal initial state, the rate of complexity is always less than the value for the vacuum initial state such that considering multiple shocks it gets more smaller. Our results indicate that by increasing the temperature of the initial state, the corresponding rate of complexity growth starts far from final saturation rate value.

On universal terms of holographic entanglement entropy in theories with hyperscaling violation

We examine the holographic entanglement entropy in hyperscaling violating backgrounds. Precisely in such theories by semi-analytic computation, we use holographic methods to derive the universal terms of entanglement entropy in various dimensions. We also find such terms when the bulk action includes higher-order curvature terms. We make further comments on the mutual information in hyperscaling violating backgrounds with higher curvature interactions. We explore the sign of tripartite information which results in a monogamy property on mutual information. It is shown that for various hyperscaling parameters, the mutual and tripartite information are always positive and negative, respectively. This indicates that mutual information is monogamous in theories with hyperscaling violation.

Thermalization of Mutual Information in Hyperscaling Violating Backgrounds

We study certain features of scaling behaviors of the mutual information during a process of thermalization, more precisely we extend the time scaling behavior of mutual information which has been discussed in \cite{Alishahiha:2014jxa} to time-dependent hyperscaling violating geometries. We use the holographic description of entanglement entropy for two disjoint system consisting of two parallel strips whose widths are much larger than the separation between them. We show that during the thermalization process, the dynamical exponent plays a crucial rule in reading the general time scaling behavior of mutual information (\emph{e.g.,} at the pre-local-equilibration regime). It is shown that the scaling violating parameter can be employed to define an effective dimension.

On the Time Evolution of Holographic n-partite Information

We study various scaling behaviors of n-partite information during a process of thermalization after a global quantum quench for n disjoint system consisting of n parallel strips whose widths are much larger than the separation between them. By making use of the holographic description for entanglement entropy we explore holographic description of the n-partite information by which we show that it has a definite sign: it is positive for even n and negative for odd n. This might be thought of as an intrinsic property of a field theory which has gravity dual.

Observable Quantities in Weyl Gravity

In this paper, the cosmological "constant" and the Hubble parameter are considered in the Weyl theory of gravity, by taking them as functions of $r$ and $t$, respectively. Based on this theory and in the linear approximation, we obtain the values of $H_0$ and $Λ_0$ which are in good agreement with the known values of the parameters for the current state of the universe.

Conformally invariant wave-equations and massless fields in de Sitter spacetime

Conformally invariant wave equations in de Sitter space, for scalar and vector fields, are introduced in the present paper. Solutions of their wave equations and the related two-point functions, in the ambient space notation, have been calculated. The ``Hilbert'' space structure and the field operator, in terms of coordinate independent de Sitter plane waves, have been defined. The construction of the paper is based on the analyticity in the complexified pseudo-Riemanian manifold, presented first by Bros et al.. Minkowskian limits of these functions are analyzed. The relation between the ambient space notation and the intrinsic coordinates is then studied in the final stage.
