On the arithmetic properties of partitions into parts simultaneously $4$-regular and $9$-distinct

In 2017, Keith presented a comprehensive survey on integer partitions into parts that are simultaneously regular, distinct, and/or flat. Recently, the authors initiated a study of partitions into parts that are simultaneously regular and distinct, examining them from both arithmetic and combinatorial perspectives. In particular, several Ramanujan-like congruences were obtained for $\myRD^{(\ell, t)}(n)$, the number of partitions of $n$ into parts that are simultaneously $\ell$-regular and $t$-distinct (parts appearing fewer than $t$ times), for various pairs $(\ell, t)$. In this paper, we focus on the case $(\ell, t)=(4,9)$ and conduct a thorough investigation of the arithmetic properties of $\myRD^{(4, 9)}(n)$. We establish several infinite families of congruences modulo $4$, $6$, and $12$, along with a collection of Ramanujan-like congruences modulo $24$.

The Power Contamination Problem on Grids Revisited: Optimality, Combinatorics, and Links to Integer Sequences

This paper presents a combinatorial study of the power contamination problem, a dynamic variant of power domination modeled on grid graphs. We resolve a conjecture posed by Ainouche and Bouroubi (2021) by proving it is false and instead establish the exact value of the power contamination number on grid graphs. Furthermore, we derive recurrence relations for this number and initiate the enumeration of optimal contamination sets. We prove that the number of optimal solutions for specific grid families corresponds to well-known integer sequences, including those counting ternary words with forbidden subwords and the large Schröder numbers. This work settles the fundamental combinatorial questions of the power contamination problem on grids and reveals its rich connections to classical combinatorics.

Arithmetic properties of $t$-Schur overpartitions

In a recent work, Nadji and Ahmia introduced the $t$-Schur overpartitions as an overpartition analogue for $t$-Schur partitions, which generalizes the classical Schur's partitions into parts congruent to $1$ or $5$ modulo $6$. We continue the study of this new class of overpartitions and prove several arithmetic results for the cases $t=3,9$ and $t$ being a power of $2$ or a power of $3$.

$s$-Modular, $s$-congruent and $s$-duplicate partitions

In this paper, we investigate the combinatorial properties of three classes of integer partitions: (1) $s$-modular partitions, a class consisting of partitions into parts with a number of occurrences (i.e., multiplicity) congruent to $0$ or $1$ modulo $s$, (2) $s$-congruent partitions, which generalize Sellers' partitions into parts not congruent to $2$ modulo $4$, and (3) $s$-duplicate partitions, of which the partitions having distinct odd parts and enumerated by the function $\mypod(n)$ are a special case. In this vein, we generalize Alladi's series expansion for the product generating function of $\mypod(n)$ and show that Andrews' generalization of Göllnitz-Gordon identities coincides with the number of partitions into parts simultaneously $s$-congruent and $t$-distinct (parts appearing fewer than $t$ times).
