On commutator-based linearization of vector-spinor nonlinear supersymmetry and Rarita-Schwinger fields

We discuss the linearization of vector-spinor (spin-3/2) nonlinear supersymmetry (vsNLSUSY) transformations for both $N = 1$ and $N$-extended SUSY in flat spacetime based on the commutator algebra by using functionals (composites) of spin-3/2 Nambu-Goldstone (NG) fermions, which are expressed as simple products of powers of the spin-3/2 NG fermions and a fundamental determinant in the vsNLSUSY theory. We define basic component fields by means of those functionals in a linearized vsSUSY theory including spin-3/2 fields, general auxiliary ones and a $D$-term. The general forms of linear (rigid) vsSUSY transformations for the component fields are determined uniquely from the commutator-based linearization procedure. By considering appropriate recombinations of the functionals of the spin-3/2 NG fermions for $N = 1$ SUSY, we find that variations of the recombinations under the vsNLSUSY transformations include linear spin-1/2 SUSY ones of spin-(3/2, 1) fields with $U(1)$ gauge invariance. The spinorial gauge invariance of the Rarita-Schwinger action in the linearization process is also discussed together with the $U(1)$ gauge invariance.

Linearizing extended nonlinear supersymmetry in two dimensional spacetime

We linearize nonlinear supersymmetry in the Volkov-Akulov (VA) theory for extended SUSY in two dimensional spacetime ($d = 2$) based on the commutator algebra. Linear SUSY transformations of basic component fields for general vector supermultiplets are uniquely determined from variations of functionals (composites) of Nambu-Goldstone (NG) fermions, which are represented as simple products of powers of the NG fermions and a fundamental determinant in the VA theory. The structure of basic component fields with general auxiliary fields in the vector supermultiplets and transitions to $U(1)$ gauge supermultiplets through recombinations of the functionals of the NG fermions are explicitly shown both in $N = 2$ and $N = 3$ theories as the simplest and general examples for extended SUSY theories in $d = 2$.

On the linearization of nonlinear supersymmetry based on the commutator algebra

We discuss a linearization procedure of nonlinear supersymmetry (NLSUSY) based on the closure of the commutator algebra for variations of functionals of Nambu-Goldstone fermions and their derivative terms under NLSUSY transformations in Volkov-Akulov NLSUSY theory. In the case of a set of bosonic and fermionic functionals, which leads to (massless) vector linear supermultiplets, we explicitly show that general linear SUSY transformations of basic components defined from those functionals are uniquely determined by examining the commutation relation in the NLSUSY theory.

Commutator-based linearization of $N = 1$ nonlinear supersymmetry

We consider the linearization of $N = 1$ nonlinear supersymmetry (NLSUSY) based on a commutator algebra in Volkov-Akulov NLSUSY theory. We show explicitly that $U(1)$ gauge and scalar supermultiplets in addition to a vector supermultiplet with general auxiliary fields in linear SUSY theories are obtained from a same set of bosonic and fermionic functionals (composites) which are expressed as simple products of the powers of a Nambu-Goldstone fermion and a fundamental determinant in the NLSUSY theory.

On the role of the commutator algebra for nonlinear supersymmetry

We discuss a closure of commutator algebras for general functionals in terms of Nambu-Goldstone fermions and their derivative terms under nonlinear supersymmetry (NLSUSY) both in flat spacetime and in curved spacetime. We point out that variations of functionals for vector supermultiplets (uniquely) determine general LSUSY transformations for linear vector supermutiplets with general auxiliary fields in extended SUSY, where the closure of the commutator algebras for NLSUSY plays a crucial role.

On chiral symmetry in extended nonlinear supersymmetry

We study the equations of the motion for Nambu-Goldstone (NG) fermions in the nonlinear representation of supersymmetry (NLSUSY) and show in N-extended NLSUSY that those equations under massless conditions are satisfied, provided the NG fermions are chiral eigenstates. The physical significance of the result is discussed in the context of NLSUSY general relativity through the relations between nonlinear and linear SUSY theories, which gives a new insight into the chiral symmetry for the low energy particle physics.

Chiral Symmetry

The exact classical solution of the equation of the motion for the Nambu-Goldstone fermion of the nonlinear representation of supersymmetry and its physical significance are discussed, which gives a new insight into the chiral symmetry of the standard model for the low energy particle physics.

Composite representations of new SUSY algebra under nonlinear SUSY transformations in curved spacetime

We discuss composite representations of new supersymmetry (SUSY) algebra under nonlinear (NL) SUSY transformations in curved space-time from the viewpoint of nonlinear supersymmetric general relativity (NLSUSY GR)/ SGM scenario. We show in the linearization of NLSUSY how various basic fields in linear SUSY theories/supergravity are expressed as functionals in terms of a vierbein and Nambu-Goldstone fermion fundamental fields in NLSUSY GR.

Nonlinear SUSY General Relativity Theory and Significances

We show some consequences of the nonlinear supersymmetric general relativity (NLSUSYGR) theory on particle physics, cosmology and their relations. They may give new insights into the SUSY breaking mechanism, dark energy, dark matter and the low enegy superpartner particles which are compatible with the recent LHC data.

On SUSY breaking from NL/L SUSY relation

We show in two dimensional space-time (d = 2) the relation between a N = 2 nonlinear supersymmetric (NLSUSY) model and a N = 2 linear (L) SUSY Yang-Mills (SYM) theory with matter (N = 2 LSUSY QCD theory). We give a new interpretation of four Nambu-Goldstone fermion (superon) contact terms, which emerge from a N = 2 general SUSY QCD (composite) action, as mass terms for LSUSY supermultiplets and discuss the possible SUSY breaking mechanism in NL/L SUSY relation for SUSY gauge theories in d = 2.

Phase Transition of NLSUSY Space-Time and Unity of Nature

The mysterious relation between the large scale structure of the universe and the tiny (Planck) scale structure of the particle physics, e.g. the observed mysterious relation between the (dark) energy density (and the dark matter) of the universe and the origin of the tiny neutrino mass (and the SUSY breaking mass scale) of the particle physics may be explained simply by the nonlinear supersymmmetric general relativity theory (NLSUSY GR).

Physical significances of NL/L SUSY relation

We discuss explicitly the details and some remarkable physical consequences of the NL/L SUSY relation between N = 2 LSUSY QED and N = 2 NLSUSY in two-dimensional space-time, which may show the potential of the SUSY composite model for the theory of everything beyond the SM.

Super Yang-Mills theory from nonlinear supersymmetry

The relation between a nonlinear supersymmetic (NLSUSY) theory and a SUSY Yang-Mills (SYM) theory is studied for N = 3 SUSY in two-dimensional space-time. We explicitly show the NL/L SUSY relation for the (pure) SYM theory by means of cancellations among Nambu-Goldstone fermion self-interaction terms.

Gauge coupling constant, compositeness and supersymmetry

We point out the possibility that the magnitude of the bare gauge coupling constant is determined theoretically in a composite model of all particles in SUSY theories. We show explicitly in two space-time dimensions that the NL/L SUSY relation (i.e., a SUSY compositeness condition for all particles) between N = 2 LSUSY QED and N = 2 NLSUSY determines the magnitude of the bare electromagnetic coupling constant (i.e., the fine structure constant) of N = 2 LSUSY QED.

On gauge coupling constant in linearization of nonlinear supersymmetry

We study in two space-time dimensions (d = 2) the relation between N = 2 supersymmetric (SUSY) QED theory and N = 2 nonlinear (NL) SUSY model by linearizing N = 2 NLSUSY generally based upon the fundamental notions of the basic theory. We find a remarkable mechanism which determines theoretically the magnitude of the bare gauge coupling constant from the general structure of auxiliary fields. We show explicitly in d = 2 that the NL/linear SUSY relation (i.e. a SUSY compositeness condition for all particles) determines the magnitude of the bare electromagnetic coupling constant (i.e. the fine structure constant) of N = 2 SUSY QED.

Particle astrophysics in nonlinear supersymmetric general relativity

An explanation of relations between the large scale structure of the universe and the tiny scale structure of the particle physics, e.g. the observed mysterious relation between the (dark) energy density and the dark matter of the universe and the neutrino mass and the SUSY breaking mass scale of the particle physics may be given by the nonlinear supersymmmetric general relativity (NLSUSY GR). NLSUSY GR shows that studying the physics before/of the Big Bang of the universe may be significant and may give new insight to unsolved problems of the low energy particle physics, cosmology and their relations.
