Quantum cosmology with symmetry analysis for quintom dark energy model

Quantum cosmology with quintom dark energy model has been investigated in the present work using symmetry analysis of the underlying physical system. In the background of the flat FLRW model quintom cosmological model has been studied using Noether symmetry and appropriate conserved charge is obtained. The Wheeler-DeWitt (WD) equation is constructed on the minisuperspace and solutions are obtained using conserved charge.

Quantum cosmology for non-minimally coupled scalar field in FLRW space-time: A symmetry analysis

The present work deals with quantum cosmology for non-minimally coupled scalar field in the background of FLRW space--time model. The Wheeler-DeWitt equation is constructed and symmetry analysis is carried out. The Lie point symmetries are related to the conformal algebra of the minisuperspace while solution of the Wheeler-DeWitt equation is obtained using conserved currents of the Noether symmetries.

Non-minimally coupled scalar field in Kantowski--Sachs model and symmetry analysis

The paper deals with a non--minimally coupled scalar field in the background of homogeneous but anisotropic Kantowski--Sachs space--time model. The form of the coupling function of the scalar field with gravity and the potential function of the scalar field are not assumed phenomenologically, rather they are evaluated by imposing Noether symmetry to the Lagrangian of the present physical system. The physical system gets considerable mathematical simplification by a suitable transformation of the augmented variables $(a, b, ϕ)\rightarrow (u, v, w)$ and by the use of the conserved quantities due to the geometrical symmetry. Finally, cosmological solutions are evaluated and analyzed from the point of view of the present evolution of the Universe.

Quintom cosmological model and some possible solutions using Lie and Noether symmetries

The present work deals with a quintom model of dark energy in the framework of a spatially flat isotropic and homogeneous Friedmann-Lemaitre-Robertson-Walker (FLRW) universe. At first, Lie point symmetry is imposed to the system and the unknown coupled potential of the model is determined. Then Noether symmetry, which is also a point like symmetry of the Lagrangian, is imposed on the physical system and the potential takes a general form. It is shown that the Lie algebra of Noether symmetry is a sub-algebra of the corresponding Lie algebra of the Lie symmetry. Finally, a point transformation in the three dimensional augmented space is performed suitably so that one of the variables become cyclic and as a result there is considerable simplification to the physical system. Hence conserved quantities (i.e, constants of motion) are expressed in a compact form and cosmological solutions are evaluated and analyzed in the present context.

Explode-decay dromions in the non-isospectral Davey-Stewartson I (DSI) equation

In this letter, we report the existence of a novel type of explode-decay dromions, which are exponentially localized coherent structures whose amplitude varies with time, through Hirota method for a nonisospectral Davey-Stewartson equation I discussed recently by Jiang. Using suitable transformations, we also point out such solutions also exist for the isospectral Davey-Stewartson I equation itself for a careful choice of the potentials.

Lie symmetries, Kac-Moody-Virasoro algebras and integrability of certain (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear evolution equations

In this paper we study Lie symmetries, Kac-Moody-Virasoro algebras, similarity reductions and particular solutions of two different recently introduced (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear evolution equations, namely (i) (2+1)-dimensional breaking soliton equation and (ii) (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger type equation introduced by Zakharov and studied later by Strachan. Interestingly our studies show that not all integrable higher dimensional systems admit Kac-Moody-Virasoro type sub-algebras. Particularly the two integrable systems mentioned above do not admit Virasoro type subalgebras, eventhough the other integrable higher dimensional systems do admit such algebras which we have also reviewed in the Appendix. Further, we bring out physically interesting solutions for special choices of the symmetry parameters in both the systems.
