Symmetric quiver Hecke algebras and R-matrices of quantum affine algebras

Let $J$ be a set of pairs consisting of good modules over an affine quantum algebra and invertible elements. The distribution of poles of the normalized R-matrices yields Khovanov-Lauda-Rouquier algebras $R^J$. We define a functor $F$ from the category $S_J$ of finite-dimensional graded $R^J$-modules to the category of finite-dimensional integrable $U_q(g)$-modules. The functor $F$ sends convolution products of $R^J$-modules to tensor products of $U_q(g)$-modules. It is exact if $R^J$ is of finite type A,D,E. When $J$ is the vector representation of $A^{(1)}_{n-1}$, we recover the affine Schur-Weyl duality. Focusing on this case, we obtain an abelian rigid graded tensor category $T_J$ by localizing the category $S_J$. The functor $F$ factors through $T_J$. Moreover, the Grothendieck ring of the category $C_J$, the image of $F$, is isomorphic to the Grothendieck ring of $T_J$ at $q=1$.

Polynomial invariants on matrices and partition, Brauer algebra

We identify the dimension of the centralizer of the symmetric group $\mathfrak{S}_d$ in the partition algebra $\mathcal{A}_d(δ)$ and in the Brauer algebra $\mathcal{B}_d(δ)$ with the number of multidigraphs with $d$ arrows and the number of disjoint union of directed cycles with $d$ arrows, respectively. Using Schur-Weyl duality as a fundamental theory, we conclude that each centralizer is related with the $G$-invariant space $P^d(M_n(\mathbf{k}))^G$ of degree $d$ homogeneous polynomials on $n \times n$ matrices, where $G$ is the orthogonal group and the group of permutation matrices, respectively. Our approach gives a uniform way to show that the dimensions of $P^d(M_n(\mathbf{k}))^G$ are stable for sufficiently large $n$.

Localizations for quiver Hecke algebras

We provide the localization procedure for monoidal categories by a real commuting family of braiders. For an element $w$ of the Weyl group, $\mathscr{C}_w$ is a subcategory of modules over quiver Hecke algebra which categorifies the quantum unipotent coordinate algebra $A_q[\mathfrak{n}(w)]$. We construct the localization $\widetilde{\mathscr{C}_w}$ of $\mathscr{C}_w$ by adding the inverses of simple modules which correspond to the frozen variables in the quantum cluster algebra $A_q[\mathfrak{n}(w)]$. The localization $\widetilde{\mathscr{C}_w}$ is left rigid and we expect that it is rigid.

Monoidal categorification and quantum affine algebras

We introduce and investigate new invariants on the pair of modules $M$ and $N$ over quantum affine algebras $U_q'(\mathfrak{g})$ by analyzing their associated R-matrices. From new invariants, we provide a criterion for a monoidal category of finite-dimensional integrable $U_q'(\mathfrak{g})$-modules to become a monoidal categorification of a cluster algebra.

Categories over quantum affine algebras and monoidal categorification

Let $U_q'(\mathfrak{g})$ be a quantum affine algebra of untwisted affine $ADE$ type, and $\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^0$ the Hernandez-Leclerc category of finite-dimensional $U_q'(\mathfrak{g})$-modules. For a suitable infinite sequence $\widehat{w}_0= \cdots s_{i_{-1}}s_{i_0}s_{i_1} \cdots$ of simple reflections, we introduce subcategories $\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^{[a,b]}$ of $\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^0$ for all $a \le b \in \mathbb{Z}\sqcup\{ \pm \infty \}$. Associated with a certain chain $\mathfrak{C}$ of intervals in $[a,b]$, we construct a real simple commuting family $M(\mathfrak{C})$ in $\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^{[a,b]}$, which consists of Kirillov-Reshetikhin modules. The category $\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^{[a,b]}$ provides a monoidal categorification of the cluster algebra $K(\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^{[a,b]})$, whose set of initial cluster variables is $[M(\mathfrak{C})]$. In particular, this result gives an affirmative answer to the monoidal categorification conjecture on $\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^-$ by Hernandez-Leclerc since it is $\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^{[-\infty,0]}$, and is also applicable to $\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^0$ since it is $\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^{[-\infty,\infty]}$.

PBW theoretic approach to the module category of quantum affine algebras

Let $U_q'(\mathfrak{g})$ be a quantum affine algebra of untwisted affine ADE type and let $\mathcal{C}^0_{\mathfrak{g}}$ be Hernandez-Leclerc's category. For a duality datum $\mathcal{D}$ in $\mathcal{C}^0_{\mathfrak{g}}$, we denote by $\mathcal{F}_{\mathcal{D}}$ the quantum affine Weyl-Schur duality functor. We give sufficient conditions for a duality datum $\mathcal{D}$ to provide the functor $\mathcal{F}_{\mathcal{D}}$ sending simple modules to simple modules. Then we introduce the notion of cuspidal modules in $\mathcal{C}^0_{\mathfrak{g}}$, and show that all simple modules in $\mathcal{C}^0_{\mathfrak{g}}$ can be constructed as the heads of ordered tensor products of cuspidal modules.

Braid group action on the module category of quantum affine algebras

Let $\mathfrak{g}_0$ be a simple Lie algebra of type ADE and let $U'_q(\mathfrak{g})$ be the corresponding untwisted quantum affine algebra. We show that there exists an action of the braid group $B(\mathfrak{g}_0)$ on the quantum Grothendieck ring $K_t(\mathfrak{g})$ of Hernandez-Leclerc's category $C_{\mathfrak{g}}^0$. Focused on the case of type $A_{N-1}$, we construct a family of monoidal autofunctors $\{\mathscr{S}_i\}_{i\in \mathbb{Z}}$ on a localization $T_N$ of the category of finite-dimensional graded modules over the quiver Hecke algebra of type $A_{\infty}$. Under an isomorphism between the Grothendieck ring $K(T_N)$ of $T_N$ and the quantum Grothendieck ring $K_t({A^{(1)}_{N-1}})$, the functors $\{\mathscr{S}_i\}_{1\le i\le N-1}$ recover the action of the braid group $B(A_{N-1})$. We investigate further properties of these functors.

Cluster algebra structures on module categories over quantum affine algebras

We study monoidal categorifications of certain monoidal subcategories $\mathcal{C}_J$ of finite-dimensional modules over quantum affine algebras, whose cluster algebra structures coincide and arise from the category of finite-dimensional modules over quiver Hecke algebra of type A${}_\infty$. In particular, when the quantum affine algebra is of type A or B, the subcategory coincides with the monoidal category $\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^0$ introduced by Hernandez-Leclerc. As a consequence, the modules corresponding to cluster monomials are real simple modules over quantum affine algebras.

Laurent phenomenon and simple modules of quiver Hecke algebras

We study consequences of a monoidal categorification of the unipotent quantum coordinate ring $A_q(\mathfrak{n}(w))$ together with the Laurent phenomenon of cluster algebras. We show that if a simple module $S$ in the category $\mathcal C_w$ strongly commutes with all the cluster variables in a cluster $[ \mathscr C]$, then $[S]$ is a cluster monomial in $[ \mathscr C ]$. If $S$ strongly commutes with cluster variables except exactly one cluster variable $[M_k]$, then $[S]$ is either a cluster monomial in $[\mathscr C ]$ or a cluster monomial in $μ_k([ \mathscr C ])$. We give a new proof of the fact that the upper global basis is a common triangular basis (in the sense of Fan Qin) of the localization $\widetilde A_q(\mathfrak{n}(w))$ of $A_q(\mathfrak{n}(w))$ at the frozen variables. A characterization on the commutativity of a simple module $S$ with cluster variables in a cluster $[ \mathscr C]$ is given in terms of the denominator vector of $[S]$ with respect to the cluster $[ \mathscr C]$.

Internet of Things: Technology, Applications and Standardardization

The term "Internet of Things" (IoT) refers to an ecosystem of interconnected physical objects and devices that are accessible through the Internet and can communicate with each other. The main strength of the IoT vision is the high impact it has created and will continue to do so on several aspects of the everyday life and behavior of its potential users. This book presents some of the state-of-the-art research work in the field of the IoT, especially on the issues of communication protocols, interoperability of protocols and semantics, trust security and privacy issues, reference architecture design, and standardization. It will be a valuable source of knowledge for researchers, engineers, practitioners, and graduate and doctoral students who are working in various fields of the IoT. It will also be useful for faculty members of graduate schools and universities.

A remark on convolution products for quiver Hecke algebras

In this paper, we investigate a connection between convolution products for quiver Hecke algebras and tensor products for quantum groups. We give a categorification of the natural projection $ π_{λ, μ} : V_{\mathbb{A}}(λ)^\vee \otimes_{\mathbb{A}} V_\mathbb{A}(μ)^\vee \twoheadrightarrow V_\mathbb{A}(λ+ μ)^\vee $ sending the tensor product of the highest weight vectors to the highest weight vector in terms of convolution products. When the quiver Hecke algebra is symmetric and the base field is of characteristic $0$, we obtain a positivity condition on some coefficients associated with the projection $π_{λ, μ}$ and the upper global basis, and prove several results related to the crystal bases. We then apply our results to finite type $A$ using the homogeneous simple modules $\mathcal{S}^T$ indexed by one-column tableaux $T$.

Monoidal categories associated with strata of flag manifolds

We construct a monoidal category $\mathscr{C}_{w,v}$ which categorifies the doubly-invariant algebra $^{N'(w)}\mathbb{C}[N]^{N(v)}$ associated with Weyl group elements $w$ and $v$. It gives, after a localization, the coordinate algebra $\mathbb{C}[\mathcal{R}_{w,v}]$ of the open Richardson variety associated with $w$ and $v$. The category $\mathscr{C}_{w,v}$ is realized as a subcategory of the graded module category of a quiver Hecke algebra $R$. When $v= \mathrm{id}$, $\mathscr{C}_{w,v}$ is the same as the monoidal category which provides a monoidal categorification of the quantum unipotent coordinate algebra $A_q(\mathfrak{n}(w))_{\mathbb{Z}[q,q^{-1}]}$ given by Kang-Kashiwara-Kim-Oh. We show that the category $\mathscr{C}_{w,v}$ contains special determinantial modules $\mathsf{M}(w_{\le k}Λ, v_{\le k}Λ)$ for $k=1, \ldots, \ell(w)$, which commute with each other. When the quiver Hecke algebra $R$ is symmetric, we find a formula of the degree of $R$-matrices between the determinantial modules $\mathsf{M}(w_{\le k}Λ, v_{\le k}Λ)$. When it is of finite $ADE$ type, we further prove that there is an equivalence of categories between $\mathscr{C}_{w,v}$ and $\mathscr{C}_u$ for $w,u,v \in \mathsf{W}$ with $w = vu$ and $\ell(w) = \ell(v) + \ell(u)$.

Monoidal categorification of cluster algebras (merged version)

We prove that the quantum cluster algebra structure of a unipotent quantum coordinate ring $A_q(\mathfrak{n}(w))$, associated with a symmetric Kac-Moody algebra and its Weyl group element $w$, admits a monoidal categorification via the representations of symmetric Khovanov-Lauda- Rouquier algebras. In order to achieve this goal, we give a formulation of monoidal categorifications of quantum cluster algebras and provide a criterion for a monoidal category of finite-dimensional graded $R$-modules to become a monoidal categorification, where $R$ is a symmetric Khovanov-Lauda-Rouquier algebra. Roughly speaking, this criterion asserts that a quantum monoidal seed can be mutated successively in all the directions, once the first-step mutations are possible. Then, we show the existence of a quantum monoidal seed of $A_q(\mathfrak{n}(w))$ which admits the first-step mutations in all the directions. As a consequence, we prove the conjecture that any cluster monomial is a member of the upper global basis up to a power of $q^{1/2}$. In the course of our investigation, we also give a proof of a conjecture of Leclerc on the product of upper global basis elements.

Monoidal categories of modules over quantum affine algebras of type A and B

We construct an exact tensor functor from the category $\mathcal{A}$ of finite-dimensional graded modules over the quiver Hecke algebra of type $A_\infty$ to the category $\mathscr C_{B^{(1)}_n}$ of finite-dimensional integrable modules over the quantum affine algebra of type $B^{(1)}_n$. It factors through the category $\mathcal T_{2n}$, which is a localization of $\mathcal{A}$. As a result, this functor induces a ring isomorphism from the Grothendieck ring of $\mathcal T_{2n}$ (ignoring the gradings) to the Grothendieck ring of a subcategory $\mathscr C^{0}_{B^{(1)}_n}$ of $\mathscr C_{B^{(1)}_n}$. Moreover, it induces a bijection between the classes of simple objects. Because the category $\mathcal T_{2n}$ is related to categories $\mathscr C^{0}_{A^{(t)}_{2n-1}}$ $(t=1,2)$ of the quantum affine algebras of type $A^{(t)}_{2n-1}$, we obtain an interesting connection between those categories of modules over quantum affine algebras of type $A$ and type $B$. Namely, for each $t =1,2$, there exists an isomorphism between the Grothendieck ring of $\mathscr C^{0}_{A^{(t)}_{2n-1}}$ and the Grothendieck ring of $\mathscr C^{0}_{B^{(1)}_n}$, which induces a bijection between the classes of simple modules.

Supersymmetric polynomials and the center of the walled Brauer algebra

We study a commuting family of elements of the walled Brauer algebra $B_{r,s}(δ)$, called the Jucys-Murphy elements, and show that the supersymmetric polynomials in these elements belong to the center of the walled Brauer algebra. When $B_{r,s}(δ)$ is semisimple, we show that those supersymmetric polynomials generate the center. Under the same assumption,we define a maximal commutative subalgebra of $B_{r,s}(δ)$, called the \emph{Gelfand-Zetlin subalgebra}, and show that it is generated by the Jucys-Murphy elements. As an application, we construct a complete set of primitive orthogonal idempotents of $B_{r,s}(δ)$, when it is semisimple. We also give an alternative proof of a part of the classification theorem of blocks of $B_{r,s}(δ)$ in non-semisimple cases, which appeared in the work of Cox-De~Visscher-Doty-Martin.Finally, we present an analogue of Jucys-Murpy elements for the quantized walled Brauer algebra $H_{r,s}(q,ρ)$ over $\mathbb C(q, ρ)$ and by taking the classical limit we show that the supersymmetric polynomials in these elements generates the center. It follows that H. Morton conjecture, which appeared in the study of the relation between the framed HOMFLY skein on the annulus and that on the rectangle with designated boundary points, holds if we extend the scalar from $\mathbb Z[q^{\pm1},ρ^{\pm1}]_{(q-q^{-1})}$ to $\mathbb C(q, ρ)$.

A categorification of $\mathfrak{q}(2)$-crystals

We provide a categorification of $\mathfrak{q}(2)$-crystals on the singular $\mathfrak{gl}_{n}$-category ${\mathcal O}_{n}$. Our result extends the $\mathfrak{gl}_{2}$-crystal structure on ${\rm Irr} ({\mathcal O}_{n})$ defined by Bernstein-Frenkel-Khovanov. Further properties of the ${\mathfrak q}(2)$-crystal ${\rm Irr}({\mathcal O}_{n})$ are also discussed.

Symmetric quiver Hecke algebras and R-matrices of quantum affine algebras III

Let $\CC^0_{\g}$ be the category of finite-dimensional integrable modules over the quantum affine algebra $U_{q}'(\g)$ and let $R^{A_\infty}\gmod$ denote the category of finite-dimensional graded modules over the quiver Hecke algebra of type $A_{\infty}$. In this paper, we investigate the relationship between the categories $\CC^0_{A_{N-1}^{(1)}}$ and $\CC^0_{A_{N-1}^{(2)}}$ by constructing the generalized quantum affine Schur-Weyl duality functors $\F^{(t)}$ from $R^{A_\infty}\gmod$ to $\CC^0_{A_{N-1}^{(t)}}$ $(t=1,2)$.

Symmetric quiver Hecke algebras and R-matrices of Quantum affine algebras IV

Let $U'_q(\mathfrak{g})$ be a twisted affine quantum group of type $A_{N}^{(2)}$ or $D_{N}^{(2)}$ and let $\mathfrak{g}_{0}$ be the finite-dimensional simple Lie algebra of type $A_{N}$ or $D_{N}$. For a Dynkin quiver of type $\mathfrak{g}_{0}$, we define a full subcategory ${\mathcal C}_{Q}^{(2)}$ of the category of finite-dimensional integrable $U'_q(\mathfrak{g})$-modules, a twisted version of the category ${\mathcal C}_{Q}$ introduced by Hernandez and Leclerc. Applying the general scheme of affine Schur-Weyl duality, we construct an exact faithful KLR-type duality functor ${\mathcal F}_{Q}^{(2)}: Rep(R) \rightarrow {\mathcal C}_{Q}^{(2)}$, where $Rep(R)$ is the category of finite-dimensional modules over the quiver Hecke algebra $R$ of type $\mathfrak{g}_{0}$ with nilpotent actions of the generators $x_k$. We show that ${\mathcal F}_{Q}^{(2)}$ sends any simple object to a simple object and induces a ring isomorphism $K(Rep(R)) \simeq K({\mathcal C}_{Q}^{(2)})$.
