Plane Gravitational Radiation from Neutrinos Source with Kalb-Ramond Coupling

In this work, we propose a model based on a non-minimal coupling of neutrinos to a Kalb-Ramond field. The latter is taken as a possible source for gravitational radiation. As an immediate illustration of this system, we have studied the case where gravitational (plane) wave solutions behave as damped harmonic oscillators.

Gravitational Collapse of Self-Similar Perfect Fluid in 2+1 Gravity

Perfect fluid with kinematic self-similarity is studied in 2+1 dimensional spacetimes with circular symmetry, and various exact solutions to the Einstein field equations are given. In particular, these include all the solutions of dust and stiff perfect fluid with self-similarity of the first kind, and all the solutions of perfect fluid with a linear equation of state and self-similarity of the zeroth or second kind. It is found that some of these solutions represent gravitational collapse, and the final state of the collapse can be either black holes or naked singularities.

The age problem and growing of structures for open system cosmology

A new equation for the density contrast is derived in the framework of reexamined Newtonian cosmology taken into account adiabatic matter creation in the universe. The age of the universe and the reach of the non linear regime of the density contrast are usually treated separately in the literature and this may lead to controversial conclusions regarding the most adequate scenario to describe the universe. We relate the age of the universe and the growing mode of the density contrast by introducing a variable $ξ$ that relates both of them, thus both aspects are treated simultaneously. We apply this procedure to the Friedmann type model where the source of particle production is given by $Ψ= 3 n βH$.

Growing of the Inhomogeneities with Particle Production

Perturbations in Prigogine's cosmological model with particle creation are investigated in the framework of Newtonian Theory. The necessary conditions for the density contrast to reach the non-linear regime wich is necessary to garantee structure formation at large scale are obtained. The upper limit of the age of the universe is investigated for the perturbations obtained to find them compatible with the observed data from COBE(Cosmic Background Explorer satellite).

An analysis of cosmological perturbations in hydrodynamical and field representations

Density fluctuations of fluids with negative pressure exhibit decreasing time behaviour in the long wavelength limit, but are strongly unstable in the small wavelength limit when a hydrodynamical approach is used. On the other hand, the corresponding gravitational waves are well behaved. We verify that the instabilities present in density fluctuations are due essentially to the hydrodynamical representation; if we turn to a field representation that lead to the same background behaviour, the instabilities are no more present. In the long wavelength limit, both approachs give the same results. We show also that this inequivalence between background and perturbative level is a feature of negative pressure fluid. When the fluid has positive pressure, the hydrodynamical representation leads to the same behaviour as the field representation both at the background and perturbative levels.
