BC Toda chain I: reflection operator and eigenfunctions

We obtain Gauss-Givental integral representation for the eigenfunctions of quantum Toda chain with boundary interaction of BC type. For this we introduce reflection operator satisfying reflection equation with DST chain Lax matrices. Besides, we define Baxter operators for BC Toda chain, prove their commutativity with Hamiltonians and derive the corresponding Baxter equation.

BC Toda chain II: symmetries. Dual picture

In the previous paper we derived Gauss-Givental integral representation for the wave functions of quantum BC Toda chain and also introduced Baxter operators for this model. In the present paper we prove commutativity of Baxter operators, as well as show that the constructed wave functions are symmetric with respect to signed permutations of spectral parameters and diagonalize Baxter operators. Furthermore, we derive Mellin-Barnes integral representation for the wave functions. With its help we show that wave functions satisfy dual system of difference equations with respect to spectral parameters and coincide with hyperoctahedral Whittaker functions. Finally, we give heuristic proofs of orthogonality and completeness of the wave functions.

Calogero-Sutherland hyperbolic system and Heckman-Opdam $\mathfrak{gl}_n$ hypergeometric function

We prove equivalence of two integral representations for the wave functions of hyperbolic Calogero-Sutherland system. For this we study two families of Baxter operators related to hyperbolic Calogero-Sutherland and rational Ruijsenaars models; the first one as a limit from hyperbolic Ruijsenaars system, while the second one independently. Besides, computing asymptotics of integral representations and also the value at zero point, we identify them with renormalized Heckman-Opdam $\mathfrak{gl}_n$ hypergeometric function.

Ruijsenaars spectral transform

Spectral decomposition with respect to the wave functions of Ruijsenaars hyperbolic system defines an integral transform, which generalizes classical Fourier integral. For a certain class of analytical symmetric functions we prove inversion formula and orthogonality relations, valid for complex valued parameters of the system. Besides, we study four regimes of unitarity, when this transform defines isomorphisms of the corresponding $L_2$ spaces.

Reflection operator and hypergeometry I: $SL(2, \mathbb{R})$ spin chain

In this work we consider open $SL(2, \mathbb{R})$ spin chain, mainly the simplest case of one particle. Eigenfunctions of the model can be constructed using the so-called reflection operator. We obtain several representations of this operator and show its relation to the hypergeometric function. Besides, we prove orthogonality and completeness of one-particle eigenfunctions and connect them to the index hypergeometric transform. Finally, we briefly state the formula for the eigenfunctions in many-particle case.

Reflection operator and hypergeometry II: $SL(2, \mathbb{C})$ spin chain

We consider noncompact open $SL(2, \mathbb{C})$ spin chain and construct eigenfunctions of $B$-element of monodromy matrix for the simplest case of the chain with one site. The reflection operator appearing in this construction can be used to express eigenfunction for $n$ sites in terms of the eigenfunction for $n-1$ sites, this general result is briefly announced. We prove orthogonality and completeness of constructed eigenfunctions in the case of one site, express them in terms of the hypergeometric function of the complex field and derive the equation for the reflection operator with the general $SL(2,\mathbb{C})$-invariant $\mathbb{R}$-operator.

Baxter operators in Ruijsenaars hyperbolic system IV. Coupling constant reflection symmetry

We introduce and study a new family of commuting Baxter operators in the Ruijsenaars hyperbolic system, different from that considered by us earlier. Using a degeneration of Rains integral identity we verify the commutativity between the two families of Baxter operators and explore this fact for the proof of the coupling constant symmetry of the wave function. We also establish a connection between new Baxter operators and Noumi-Sano difference operators.

Baxter operators in Ruijsenaars hyperbolic system II. Bispectral wave functions

In the previous paper we introduced a commuting family of Baxter Q-operators for the quantum Ruijsenaars hyperbolic system. In the present work we show that the wave functions of the quantum system found by M. Hallnäs and S. Ruijsenaars also diagonalize Baxter operators. Using this property we prove the conjectured duality relation for the wave function. As a corollary, we show that the wave function solves bispectral problems for pairs of dual Macdonald and Baxter operators. Besides, we prove the conjectured symmetry of the wave function with respect to spectral variables and obtain new integral representation for it.

Baxter operators in Ruijsenaars hyperbolic system I. Commutativity of Q-operators

We introduce Baxter Q-operators for the quantum Ruijsenaars hyperbolic system. We prove that they represent a commuting family of integral operators and also commute with Macdonald difference operators, which are gauge equivalent to the Ruijsenaars Hamiltonians of the quantum system. The proof of commutativity of the Baxter operators uses a hypergeometric identity on rational functions that generalize Ruijsenaars kernel identities.

Q-operator for the quantum NLS model

In this paper we show that the operator introduced by A. A. Tsvetkov enjoys all the needed properties of a Q-operator. It is shown that the Q-operator of the XXX spin chain with generic values of spin turns into Tsvetkov's operator in the continuum limit for large spin.
