Weak fuzzy topology on fuzzy topological vector spaces

In this paper, we introduce the concept of weak fuzzy linear topology on a fuzzy topological vector space as a generalization of usual weak topology. We prove that this topology consists of all weakly lower semi-continuous fuzzy sets on a given vector space when K (R or C) considered with its usual fuzzy topology. In the case that the topology of K is different from the usual fuzzy topology, we show that the weak fuzzy topology is not equivalent with the topology of weakly lower semi-continuous fuzzy sets.

Polar fuzzy topologies on fuzzy topological vector spaces

In this paper, we introduce the concept of polar fuzzy sets on fuzzy dual spaces. Using the notion of polar fuzzy sets, we define polar linear fuzzy topologies on fuzzy dual spaces and prove the Mackey-Arens type Theorem on fuzzy topological vector spaces

A cosmological viewpoint on the correspondence between deformed phase-space and canonical quantization

We employ the familiar canonical quantization procedure in a given cosmological setting to argue that it is equivalent to and results in the same physical picture if one considers the deformation of the phase-space instead. To show this we use a Probabilistic Evolutionary Process (PEP) to make the solutions of these different approaches comparable. Specific model theories are used to show that the independent solutions of the resulting Wheeler-DeWitt equation are equivalent to solutions of the deformation method with different signs for the deformation parameter. We also argued that since the Wheeler-DeWitt equation is a direct consequence of diffeomorphism invariance, this equivalence is only true provided that the deformation of phase-space does not break such an invariance.

Probabilistic Evolutionary Process: a possible solution to the problem of time in quantum cosmology and creation from nothing

We present a method, which we shall call the probabilistic evolutionary process, based on the probabilistic nature of quantum theory to offer a possible solution to the problem of time in quantum cosmology. It offers an alternative for perceiving an arrow of time which is compatible with the thermodynamical arrow of time and makes a new interpretation of the FRW universe in vacua which is consistent with creation of a de Sitter space-time from nothing. This is a completely quantum result with no correspondence in classical cosmology.

Thermodynamics of noncommutative de Sitter spacetime

We study the effects of noncommutativity of spacetime geometry on the thermodynamical properties of the de Sitter horizon. We show that noncommutativity results in modifications in temperature, entropy and vacuum energy and that these modifications are of order of the Planck scale, suggesting that the size of the noncommutative parameter should be close to that of the Planck. In an alternative way to deal with noncommutativity, we obtain a quantization rule for the entropy. Since noncommutativity in spacetime geometry modifies the Heisenberg algebra and introduces the general uncertainty principle, we also investigate the above problem in this framework.

The cosmological implications of a fundamental length: a DSR inspired de-Sitter spacetime

We study a de-Sitter model in the framework of a Deformed Special Relativity (DSR) inspired structure. The effects of this framework appear as the existence of a fundamental length which influences the behavior of the scale factor. We show that such a deformation can either be used to control the unbounded growth of the scale factor in the present accelerating phase or account for the inflationary era in the early evolution of the universe.

Unruh's detector in the presence of Lorentz symmetry breaking

We investigate the quantum field theory of a Lorentz non-invariant model with a massive nonlinear dispersion relation in Minkowski space. The model involves some non-causal signals in the form of wave packets propagating with super-luminal group velocities. To avoid the problems with causality we characterize the causal sector of the theory by a cutoff condition excluding all super-luminal group velocities. It is argued that in the causal theory satisfying the energy positivity condition an Unruh's detector moving with a constant velocity with respect to the preferred frame does not detect any particle. But in a causal theory violating energy positivity, detection of a field quanta occurs. We comment on the origin of this particle creation.

Cosmological Particle Creation in the Presence of Lorentz Violation

In recent years, the effects of Lorentz symmetry breaking in cosmology has attracted considerable amount of attention. In cosmological context several topics can be affected by Lorentz violation,e.g., inflationary scenario, CMB, dark energy problem and barryogenesis. In this paper we consider the cosmological particle creation due to Lorentz violation (LV). We consider an exactly solvable model for finding the spectral properties of particle creation in an expanding space-time exhibiting Lorentz violation. In this model we calculate the spectrum and its variations with respect to the rate and the amount of space-time expansion.

Quantum noncommutative multidimensional cosmology

We present exact quantum solutions for a noncommutative, multidimensional cosmological model and show that stabilization of extra dimensions sets in with the introduction of noncommutativity between the scale factors. An interpretation is offered to accommodate the notion of time, rendering comparison with the classical solutions possible.

Bianchi spacetimes in noncommutative phase-space

The effects of noncommutativity in the phase-space of the classical and quantum cosmology of Bianchi models are investigated. Exact solutions in both commutative and noncommutative cases are presented and compared. Further, the Noether symmetries of the Bianchi class A spacetimes are studied in both cases and similarities and differences are discussed.

Stabilization of Compactification Volume In a Noncommutative Mini-Super-Phase-Space

We consider a class of generalized FRW type metrics in the context of higher dimensional Einstein gravity in which the extra dimensions are allowed to have different scale factors. It is shown that noncommutativity between the momenta conjugate to the internal space scale factors controls the power-law behavior of the scale factors in the extra dimensions, taming it to an oscillatory behavior. Hence noncommutativity among the internal momenta of the mini-super-\emph{phase}-space can be used to explain stabilization of the compactification volume of the internal space in a higher dimensional gravity theory.

Non-commutative multi-dimensional cosmology

A non-commutative multi-dimensional cosmological model is introduced and used to address the issues of compactification and stabilization of extra dimensions and the cosmological constant problem. We show that in such a scenario these problems find natural solutions in a universe described by an increasing time parameter.
