A new way to unify all fermion and boson fields, including gravity

The description of the internal spaces of fermion and boson fields with "basis vectors", which are the superposition of odd and even products of the operators $γ^a$, offers in $d=2(2n+1)$-dimensions, such as $d=(13+1)$, a unified picture of all so far observed fermions (quarks, leptons, antiquarks and antileptons that appear in families) and bosons (gravitons, photons, weak bosons, gluons and scalars), under the condition that all fields have non-zero angular momenta only in the $d =(3+1)$, $SO(3,1)$, of ordinary space-time. Bosons, which also carry the spatial index $α$ (which is for tensors and vectors $μ=(0,1,2,3)$ and for scalars $σ\ge 5$) appear in two orthogonal groups. In any $d=2(2n+1)$-dimensional space the number of internal states of fermions in all families and their Hermitian conjugate partners is equal to the number of internal states of boson states. The article presents general properties of massless fermion and boson fields and their mutual interactions in this theory, which determine the Lagrangian density of both fields and their interactions. It particularly illustrates "basis vectors" and their properties in $d=(13+1)$ and $d=(5+1)$. The article presents new results and discusses open problems in this theory.

Unified Pati-Salam from Noncommutative Geometry: Overview and Phenomenological Remarks

The lack of clear new-physics signals at the LHC searches motivates models that can guide current and future collider searches. The spectral action principle within the noncommutative geometry (NCG) framework yields such models with distinctive phenomenology. This formalism derives the actions of the Standard Model, General Relativity, and beyond from the underlying algebra, putting them on a common geometric footing. Certain versions of Pati-Salam (PS) models with gauge coupling unification and limited scalar content can be derived from an appropriate noncommutative algebra. In this paper, I review these gauge-coupling-unified Pati-Salam models and discuss their phenomenological aspects, focusing on the $S_1$ scalar leptoquark.

Do we understand the internal spaces of second quantized fermion and boson fields, with gravity included? Relation with strings theories

The article proposes the description of internal spaces of fermion (quarks and leptons and antiquarks and antileptons) and boson (photons, weak bosons, gluons, gravitons and scalars) second quantized fields in a unique way if they all are massless. The internal spaces are described by ``basis vectors'', which are the superposition of odd (for fermions) and even (for bosons) products of the operators $γ^ {a}$. For an arbitrary symmetry $SO(d-1,1)$ of the internal spaces, it is the number of fermion fields (they appear in families and have their Hermitian conjugated partners in a separate group) equal to the number of boson fields (they appear in two orthogonal groups), manifesting a kind of supersymmetry, which differ of the string supersymmetry. On the assumption that fermions and bosons are active (they have momenta different from zero) only in $d=(3+1)$ ordinary space-time, bosons present vectors if they carry the space index $μ=(0,1,2,3)$, and present scalars if they carry the index $σ\ge 5$. The author discusses this theory's latest achievements, with a trial to understand whether the extension to strings or to odd-dimensional spaces can lead to a new kind of supersymmetry. This model, named {\it spin-charge-family} theory, manifests in a long series of papers on the phenomenological success of the theory in elementary particle physics and cosmology.

How far has so far the Spin-Charge-Family theory succeeded to offer the explanation for the observed phenomena in elementary particle physics and cosmology

This talk discusses the achievements of the {\it spin-charge-family} theory. The project started in the year 1993 when trying to understand the internal spaces of fermions and bosons with the Grassmann algebra. Recognizing that the Grassmann algebra suggests the existence of the anticommuting fermion states with the integer spin (and commuting boson states with integer spin) and that Grassmann algebra is expressible with two kinds of the Clifford algebras, both offering a description of the anticommuting half spin fermion states, it became obvious that the Clifford odd algebra (the superposition of odd products of $γ^a$) offers a way for describing the internal spaces for fermions, while $\tildeγ^a$ can be chosen to determine quantum numbers of families of fermions. Three years ago, it become evident that the Clifford even algebra (the superposition of even products of $γ^a$) offers a way to describe the internal spaces of the corresponding boson gauge fields. In odd dimensional spaces the properties of the internal space of fermions and bosons differ essentially from those in even dimensional spaces, manifesting as the Fadeev-Popov ``ghosts''. Can the {\it spin-charge-family} theory, extending the point fields to strings, be related to {\it string theories}?

Does dark matter consist of baryons of new stable family quarks?

We investigate the possibility that the dark matter consists of clusters of the heavy family quarks and leptons with zero Yukawa couplings to the lower families. Such a family is predicted by the {\it approach unifying spin and charges} as the fifth family. We make a rough estimation of properties of baryons of this new family members, of their behaviour during the evolution of the universe and when scattering on the ordinary matter and study possible limitations on the family properties due to the cosmological and direct experimental evidences.
