The Schrödinger semigroup on some flat and non flat manifolds

In this paper we apply known techniques from semigroup theory to the Schrödinger problem with initial conditions. To this end, we define the regularized Schrödinger semigroup acting on a space-time domain and show that it is strongly continuous and contractive in $L_p,$ with $3/2 < p < 3.$ These results can easily be extended to the case of conformal operators acting in the context of differential forms, but they require positiveness conditions on the curvature of the considered Minkowski manifold. For that purpose, we will use a Clifford algebra setting in order to highlight the geometric characteristics of the manifold. We give an application of such methods to the regularized Schrödinger problem with initial condition and we will extended our conclusions to the limit case. For the torus case and a class of non-oriented higher dimensional Möbius strip like domains we also give some explicit formulas for the fundamental solution.

Numerical Clifford Analysis for Nonlinear Schrodinger Problem

The aim of this work is to study the numerical solution of the nonlinear Schrodinger problem using a combination between Witt basis and finite difference approximations. We construct a discrete fundamental solution for the non-stationary Schrodinger operator and we show the convergence of the numerical scheme. Numerical examples are given at the end of the paper.

Fundamental Solutions of the Instationary Schrodinger Difference Operator

In this paper we will study the existence of fundamental solutions for the explicit and implicit backward time dependent Schodinger equation, via discrete Fourier transform and its symbol for the Laplace operator. In both cases we will prove that the discrete fundamental solutions obtained converges to the continuous fundamental solution in the $l_1-$norm sense.

Factorization of the Non-Stationary Schrodinger Operator

We consider a factorization of the non-stationary Schrodinger operator based on the parabolic Dirac operator introduced by Cerejeiras/ Kahler/ Sommen. Based on the fundamental solution for the parabolic Dirac operators, we shall construct appropriated Teodorescu and Cauchy-Bitsadze operators. Afterwards we will describe how to solve the nonlinear Schrodinger equation using Banach fixed point theorem.

Accurate mass measurements of $^{26}$Ne, $^{26-30}$Na, $^{29-33}$Mg performed with the {\sc Mistral} spectrometer

The minuteness of the nuclear binding energy requires that mass measurements be highly precise and accurate. Here we report on new measurements $^{29-33}$Mg and $^{26}$Na performed with the {\sc Mistral} mass spectrometer at {\sc Cern}'s {\sc Isolde} facility. Since mass measurements are prone to systematic errors, considerable effort has been devoted to their evaluation and elimination in order to achieve accuracy and not only precision. We have therefore conducted a campaign of measurements for calibration and error evaluation. As a result, we now have a satisfactory description of the {\sc Mistral} calibration laws and error budget. We have applied our new understanding to previous measurements of $^{26}$Ne, $^{26-30}$Na and $^{29,32}$Mg for which re-evaluated values are reported.
