Large structures within the class of summing operators

We investigate lineability/spaceability problems within the setting of multilinear summing operators on quasi-Banach sequence spaces. Furthermore, we deal with the contemporary geometric notions of pointwise-lineability and $(α,β)$-lineability. Among other results, we prove that the class of multilinear operators taking values on $\ell_q \, (0<q \leq \infty)$ that are absolutely but not multiple summing is pointwise $\mathfrak{c}$-spaceable when non-empty. Spaceability in other classes, such as Dunford-Pettis operators and multilinear operators on general summable scalar families, is also studied.

Asymptotic estimates for unimodular multilinear forms with small norms on sequence spaces

The existence of unimodular forms with small norms on sequence spaces is crucial in a variety of problems in modern analysis. We prove that the infimum of $\left\Vert A\right\Vert $ over all unimodular $d$-linear (complex or real) forms $A$ on $\ell_{p_1}^{n_{1}} \times \cdots \times \ell_{p_d}^{n_{d}}$, for all $p_1,\dots,p_d \in [2, \infty]$ and all positive integers $n_1,\dots,n_d$, behaves (asymptotically) as $\left(n_{1}^{1/2} + \cdots + n_{d}^{1/2}\right) \prod_{j=1}^{d}n_{j}^{\frac{1}{2} - \frac{1}{p_j}}$. Applications to the theory of the multilinear Hardy--Littlewood inequality are also presented.

Maximal lineability of the set of Continuous Surjections

Let $m,n$ be positive integers. In this short note we prove that the set of all continuous and surjective functions from $\mathbb{R}^{m}$ to $\mathbb{R}^{n}$ contains (excluding the 0 function) a $\mathfrak{c}$-dimensional vector space. This result is optimal in terms of dimension.
