Two-parameter Quantum Affine Algebra $U_{r,s}(\widehat{\frak {sl}_n})$, Drinfel'd Realization and Quantum Affine Lyndon Basis

We further define two-parameter quantum affine algebra $U_{r,s}(\widehat{\frak {sl}_n})$ $(n>2)$ after the work on the finite cases (see [BW1], [BGH1], [HS] & [BH]), which turns out to be a Drinfel'd double. Of importance for the quantum {\it affine} cases is that we can work out the compatible two-parameter version of the Drinfel'd realization as a quantum affinization of $U_{r,s}(\frak{sl}_n)$ and establish the Drinfel'd isomorphism Theorem in the two-parameter setting, via developing a new combinatorial approach (quantum calculation) to the quantum {\it affine} Lyndon basis we present (with an explicit valid algorithm based on the use of Drinfel'd generators).

Notes on two-parameter quantum groups, (I)

A simpler definition for a class of two-parameter quantum groups associated to semisimple Lie algebras is given in terms of Euler form. Their positive parts turn out to be 2-cocycle deformations of each other under some conditions. An operator realization of the positive part is given.

Two-parameter Quantum Group of Exceptional Type G_2 and Lusztig's Symmetries

We give the defining structure of two-parameter quantum group of type G_2 defined over a field {\Bbb Q}(r,s) (with r\ne s), and prove the Drinfel'd double structure as its upper and lower triangular parts, extending an earlier result of [BW1] in type A and a recent result of [BGH1] in types B, C, D. We further discuss the Lusztig's Q-isomorphisms from U_{r,s}(G_2) to its associated object U_{s^{-1},r^{-1}}(G_2), which give rise to the usual Lusztig's symmetries defined not only on U_q(G_2) but also on the centralized quantum group U_q^c(G_2) only when r=s^{-1}=q. (This also reflects the distinguishing difference between our newly defined two-parameter object and the standard Drinfel'd-Jimbo quantum groups). Some interesting (r,s)-identities holding in U_{r,s}(G_2) are derived from this discussion.

Quantizations of generalized-Witt algebra and of Jacobson-Witt algebra in the modular case

We quantize the generalized-Witt algebra in characteristic 0 with its Lie bialgebra structures discovered by Song-Su (\cite{GY}). Via a modulo p reduction and a modulo "p-restrictedness" reduction process, we get 2^n{-}1 families of truncated p-polynomial noncocommutative deformations of the restricted universal enveloping algebra of the Jacobson-Witt algebra \mathbf{W}(n;\underline{1}) (for the Cartan type simple modular restricted Lie algebra of W type). They are new families of noncommutative and noncocommutative Hopf algebras of dimension p^{1+np^n} in characteristic p. Our results generalize a work of Grunspan (J. Algebra 280 (2004), 145--161, \cite{CG}) in rank n=1 case in characteristic 0. In the modular case, the argument for a refined version follows from the modular reduction approach (different from \cite{CG}) with some techniques from the modular Lie algebra theory.

A Cohomological Characterization of Leibniz Central Extensions of Lie Algebras

Mainly motivated by Pirashvili's spectral sequences on a Leibniz algebra, a cohomological characterization of Leibniz central extensions of Lie algebras is given based on Corollary 3.3 and Theorem 3.5. In particular, as applications, we obtain the cohomological version of Gao's main Theorem in \cite{Gao2} for Kac-Moody algebras and answer a question in \cite{LH}.

Universal Central Extensions of the Matrix Leibniz Superalgebras sl(m, n, A)

The universal central extensions and their extension kernels of the matrix Lie superalgebra sl(m, n, A), the Steinberg Lie superalgebra st(m, n, A) in category {\bf SLeib} of Leibniz superalgebras are determined under a weak assumption (compared with \cite{MP}) using the first Hochschild homology and the first cyclic homology group.

Two-parameter Quantum Groups of Exceptional Type E-Series and Convex PBW Type Basis

The presentation of two-parameter quantum groups of type E-series in the sense of Benkart-Witherspoon [BW1] is given, which has a Drinfel'd quantum double structure. The universal $R$-matrix and a convex PBW-type basis are described for type E_6 (as a sample), and the conditions of those isomorphisms from these quantum groups into the one-parameter quantum doubles are discussed.

q-Witt Algebras, q-Virasoro algebra, q-Lie Algebras, q-Holomorph Structure and Representations

For q generic or a primitive l-th root of unity, q-Witt algebras are described by means of q-divided power algebras. The structure of the universal q-central extension of the q-Witt algebra, the q-Virasoro algebra, is also determined. q-Lie algebras are investigated and the q-PBW theorem for the universal enveloping algebras of q-Lie algebras is proved. A realization of a class of representations of the q-Witt algebras is given. Based on it, the q-holomorph structure for the q-Witt algebras is constructed, which interprets the realization in the context of representation theory.

Leibniz superalgebras and central extensions

Dialgebras are generalizations of associative algebras which give rise to Leibniz algebras instead of Lie algebras. In this paper we study super dialgebras and Leibniz superalgebras, which are $\z_2$-graded dialgebras and Leibniz algebras. We also study universal central extesions of Leibniz superalgebras and obtain some results as in the case of Lie superalgebras. We determine universal central extensions of basic classical Lie superalgebras in the category of Leibniz superalgebras. They play a key role in studying Leibniz superalgebras graded by finite root systems.

Representations of Two-parameter Quantum Orthogonal and Symplectic Groups

We investigate the finite-dimensional representation theory of two-parameter quantum orthogonal and symplectic groups that we found in [BGH] under the assumption that $rs^{-1}$ is not a root of unity and extend some results [BW1, BW2] obtained for type $A$ to types $B$, $C$ and $D$. We construct the corresponding $R$-matrices and the quantum Casimir operators, by which we prove that the complete reducibility Theorem also holds for the categories of finite-dimensional weight modules for types $B$, $C$, $D$.

Drinfel'd Doubles and Lusztig's Symmetries of Two-Parameter Quantum Groups

We find the defining structures of two-parameter quantum groups $U_{r,s}(\frak g)$ corresponding to the orthogonal and the symplectic Lie algebras, which are realized as Drinfel'd doubles. We further investigate the environment conditions upon which the Lusztig's symmetries exist between $(U_{r,s}(\frak g), < ,>)$ and its associated object $(U_{s^{-1}, r^{-1}}(\frak g), < | >)$.
