Graded Casimir Elements and Central Extensions of Color Lie Algebras

A color Lie algebra is a generalization of a Lie (super)algebra by an Abelian group $Γ$. The underlying vector space and defining relations of the algebra are graded by $Γ$, and a color Lie algebra can admit graded Casimir elements. Furthermore, in that case its loop algebra admits graded central extensions. We present a general method for constructing 2nd order graded Casimir elements and graded central extensions for a given color Lie algebra and its loop algebra, respectively. We also show that there exists a large class of color Lie algebras admitting such graded Casimir elements or central extensions by providing three examples, namely, $\mathfrak{sl}(2)$ for $Γ= \mathbb{Z}_3^2$, and $\mathfrak{q}(n)$ and $\mathfrak{osp}(m|2n)$ for $Γ= \mathbb{Z}_2^2$.

Integrable $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded super-Liouville Equation and Induced $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded super-Virasoro Algebra

We present a framework for enlarging the construction of $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded classical Toda theory from the class of $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded Lie algebras to the class of $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded Lie superalgebras. This scheme is applied to derive a $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded extension of the super-Liouville equation based on a $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded extension of $\mathfrak{osp}(1|2).$ The mathematical tools employed in this work are a $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded version of the zero-curvature formalism and of the Polyakov's soldering procedure. It is demonstrated that both methods yield the same $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded super-Liouville equation. An algebraic construction of solutions to the resulting equations is also presented, together with their Bäcklund transformations. Furthermore, three distinct new $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded extensions of the super-Virasoro algebra are obtained via Hamiltonian reduction of the WZNW currents defined for $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-$\mathfrak{osp}(1|2).$

Integrable $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded Extensions of the Liouville and Sinh-Gordon Theories

In this paper we present a general framework to construct integrable $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded extensions of classical, two-dimensional Toda and conformal affine Toda theories. The scheme is applied to define the extended Liouville and Sinh-Gordon models; they are based on $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded color Lie algebras and their fields satisfy a parabosonic statististics. The mathematical tools here introduced are the $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded covariant extensions of the Lax pair formalism and of the Polyakov's soldering procedure. The $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded Sinh-Gordon model is derived from an affine $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded color Lie algebra, mimicking a procedure originally introduced by Babelon-Bonora to derive the ordinary Sinh-Gordon model. The color Lie algebras under considerations are: the $6$-generator $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded $sl_2$, the $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded affine ${\widehat{sl_2}}$ algebra with two central extensions, the $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded Virasoro algebra obtained from a Hamiltonian reduction.

Hom-Lie-Virasoro symmetries in Bloch electron systems and quantum plane in tight binding models

We discuss the Curtright-Zachos (CZ) deformation of the Virasoro algebra and its extentions in terms of magnetic translation (MT) group in a discrete Bloch electron system, so-called the tight binding model (TBM), as well as in its continuous system. We verify that the CZ generators are essentially composed of a specific combination of MT operators representing deformed and undeformed $U(1)$ translational groups, which determine phase factors for a $\ast$-bracket commutator. The phase factors can be formulated as a $\ast$-ordered product of the commutable $U(1)$ operators by interpreting the AB phase factor of discrete MT action as fluctuation parameter $q$ of a quantum plane. We also show that some sequences of TBM Hamiltonians are described by the CZ generators.

$\mathbb{Z}_2^3$-Graded Extensions of Lie Superalgebras and Superconformal Quantum Mechanics

Quantum mechanical systems whose symmetry is given by $\mathbb{Z}_2^3$-graded version of superconformal algebra are introduced. This is done by finding a realization of a $\mathbb{Z}_2^3$-graded Lie superalgebra in terms of a standard Lie superalgebra and the Clifford algebra. The realization allows us to map many models of superconformal quantum mechanics (SCQM) to their $\mathbb{Z}_2^3$-graded extensions. It is observed that for the simplest SCQM with $\mathfrak{osp}(1|2)$ symmetry there exist two inequivalent $\mathbb{Z}_2^3$-graded extensions. Applying the standard prescription of conformal quantum mechanics, spectrum of the SCQMs with the $\mathbb{Z}_2^3$-graded $\mathfrak{osp}(1|2)$ symmetry is analyzed. It is shown that many models of SCQM can be extended to $\mathbb{Z}_2^n$-graded setting.

Centrally Extended Conformal Galilei Algebras and Invariant Nonlinear PDEs

We construct, for any given $ \ell = \frac{1}{2} + {\mathbb N}_0, $ the second-order \textit{nonlinear} partial differential equations (PDEs) which are invariant under the transformations generated by the centrally extended conformal Galilei algebras. The generators are obtained by a coset construction and the PDEs are constructed by standard Lie symmetry technique. It is observed that the invariant PDEs have significant difference for $ \ell > \frac{3}{2}. $

Lowest Weight Representations, Singular Vectors and Invariant Equations for a Class of Conformal Galilei Algebras

The conformal Galilei algebra (CGA) is a non-semisimple Lie algebra labelled by two parameters $d$ and $\ell$. The aim of the present work is to investigate the lowest weight representations of CGA with $d = 1$ for any integer value of $\ell$. First we focus on the reducibility of the Verma modules. We give a formula for the Shapovalov determinant and it follows that the Verma module is irreducible if $\ell = 1$ and the lowest weight is nonvanishing. We prove that the Verma modules contain many singular vectors, i.e., they are reducible when $\ell \neq 1$. Using the singular vectors, hierarchies of partial differential equations defined on the group manifold are derived. The differential equations are invariant under the kinematical transformation generated by CGA. Finally we construct irreducible lowest weight modules obtained from the reducible Verma modules.

Highest weight representations and Kac determinants for a class of conformal Galilei algebras with central extension

We investigate the representations of a class of conformal Galilei algebras in one spatial dimension with central extension. This is done by explicitly constructing all singular vectors within the Verma modules, proving their completeness and then deducing irreducibility of the associated highest weight quotient modules. A resulting classification of infinite dimensional irreducible modules is presented. It is also shown that a formula for the Kac determinant is deduced from our construction of singular vectors. Thus we prove a conjecture of Dobrev, Doebner and Mrugalla for the case of the Schrodinger algebra.

On irreducible representations of the exotic conformal Galilei algebra

We investigate the representations of the exotic conformal Galilei algebra. This is done by explicitly constructing all singular vectors within the Verma modules, and then deducing irreducibility of the associated highest weight quotient modules. Notes on Curtright-Zachos Deformations of osp(1,2) and Super Virasoro Algebras

Based on the quantum superspace construction of $q$-deformed algebra, we discuss a supersymmetric extension of the deformed Virasoro algebra, which is a subset of the $q$-$W_{\infty}$ algebra recently appeared in the context of two-dimensional string theory. We analyze two types of deformed super-Virasoro algebra as well as their $osp(1,2)$ subalgebras. Applying our quantum superspace structure to conformal field theory, we find the same type of deformation of affine $sl(2)$ algebra.
