Embedding Non-Distortive Cancelable Face Template Generation

Biometric authentication systems are crucial for security, but developing them involves various complexities, including privacy, security, and achieving high accuracy without directly storing pure biometric data in storage. We introduce an innovative image distortion technique that makes facial images unrecognizable to the eye but still identifiable by any custom embedding neural network model. Using the proposed approach, we test the reliability of biometric recognition networks by determining the maximum image distortion that does not change the predicted identity. Through experiments on MNIST and LFW datasets, we assess its effectiveness and compare it based on the traditional comparison metrics.

Security in Next Generation Mobile Payment Systems: A Comprehensive Survey

Cash payment is still king in several markets, accounting for more than 90\ of the payments in almost all the developing countries. The usage of mobile phones is pretty ordinary in this present era. Mobile phones have become an inseparable friend for many users, serving much more than just communication tools. Every subsequent person is heavily relying on them due to multifaceted usage and affordability. Every person wants to manage his/her daily transactions and related issues by using his/her mobile phone. With the rise and advancements of mobile-specific security, threats are evolving as well. In this paper, we provide a survey of various security models for mobile phones. We explore multiple proposed models of the mobile payment system (MPS), their technologies and comparisons, payment methods, different security mechanisms involved in MPS, and provide analysis of the encryption technologies, authentication methods, and firewall in MPS. We also present current challenges and future directions of mobile phone security.

Model of Trust Management for Digital Industry Services. Towards E-Commerce 4.0

The progressive digitalization is changing the way businesses work and interact. Concepts like Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Industry 4.0, Service 4.0, Smart Production or Smart Cities are based on systems that are linked to the Internet. The online access to the provided data creates potential to optimize processes and cost reductions, but also exposes it to a risk for an inappropriate use. Trust management systems are necessary in terms of data security, but also to assure the trustworthiness of data that is distributed. Fake news in social media is an example for problems with online data that is not trustable. Security and trustworthiness of data are major concerns today. The speed in digitalization makes it even a greater challenge for future research. This article introduces therefore a model of online trust content usable to compute the trust of an online service advertisement. It contributes to standardize business service descriptions necessary to realize visions of E-commerce 4.0, because it is the basis for the development of AI systems that are able to match an service request to a service advertisement. It is necessary for building trust enhancing architectures in B2B e-commerce. To do so, we conducted case studies, analysed websites, developed a prototype system and verified it by conducting expert interviews.
