Extending Liquid Rank Toward Multi-Source Reputation Aggregation

In this paper, we present an extension of liquid rank reputation systems that enables the aggregation and blending of multiple heterogeneous reputation sources into a unified reputation score. The proposed framework supports the incorporation of external reputational signals alongside internally generated reputation, allowing influence to reflect participation and contribution across multiple contexts and subsystems. By introducing explicit weighting and blending mechanisms, the model provides fine-grained control over the relative impact of individual reputation sources, making it adaptable to diverse governance and coordination scenarios involving both human and machine agents. The resulting approach extends existing liquid rank systems and offers a flexible foundation for designing reputation-based governance mechanisms in complex socio-technical environments.

A Liquid Democracy System for Human-Computer Societies

Problem of reliable democratic governance is critical for survival of any community, and it will be critical for communities powered with Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems upon developments of the latter. Apparently, it will be getting more and more critical because of increasing speeds and scales of electronic communications and decreasing latencies in system responses. In order to address this need, we present design and implementation of a reputation system supporting "liquid democracy" principle. The system is based on "weighted liquid rank" algorithm employing different sorts of explicit and implicit ratings being exchanged by members of the society as well as implicit assessments of of the members based on measures of their activity in the society. The system is evaluated against live social network data with help of simulation modelling for an online marketplace case.

A Reputation System for Market Security and Equity

We simulate a reputation system in a market to optimise the balance between market security and market equity. We introduce a method of using a reputation system that will stabilise the distribution of wealth in a market in a fair manner. We also introduce metrics of a modified Gini that takes production quality into account, a way to use a weighted Pearson as a tool to optimise balance.

A Reputation System for Multi-Agent Marketplaces

We present an exploration of a reputation system based on explicit ratings weighted by the values of corresponding financial transactions from the perspective of its ability to grant "security" to market participants by protecting them from scam and "equity" in terms of having real qualities of the participants correctly assessed. We present a simulation modeling approach based on the selected reputation system and discuss the results of the simulation.

A Reputation System for Marketplaces - Viability Assessment

In this work we explore the implementation of the reputation system for a generic marketplace, describe details of the algorithm and parameters driving its operation, justify an approach to simulation modeling, and explore how various kinds of reputation systems with different parameters impact the economic security of the marketplace. Our emphasis here is on the protection of consumers by means of an ability to distinguish between cheating participants and honest participants, as well as the ability to minimize losses of honest participants due to scam.

Reputation System for Online Communities (in Russian)

Understanding the principles of consensus in communities and finding ways to optimal solutions beneficial for entire community becomes crucial as the speeds and scales of interaction in modern distributed systems increase. Such systems can be both social and information computer networks that unite the masses of people as well as multi-agent computing platforms based on peer-to-peer interactions including those operating on the basis of distributed ledgers. It is now becoming possible for hybrid ecosystems to emerge, having such systems including both humans and computer systems using artificial intelligence. We propose a new form of consensus for all of the listed systems, based on the reputation of the participants, calculated according to the principle of "liquid democracy". We believe that such a system will be more resistant to social engineering and reputation manipulation than the existing systems. In this article, we discuss the basic principles and options for implementing such a system, and also present preliminary practical results.
