The background field method applied to cosmological phase transition

In this paper, the cosmic phase transition is investigated by background gauge field method. As a continuation of previous our work, some numerical results and graphic solutions at $T\neq 0$ are presented. Hence the mechanism of cosmic phase transition in the early Universe is considered. It is shown that the breaking of symmetry significantly depend on the nonzero temperature and chemical potential. Furthermore, it is the first order of phase transition. Non - restoration of symmetry in hot gauge theories for Cosmology.

Functional integral method for potential scattering amplitude in quantum mechanics

The functional integral method can be used in quantum mechanics to find the scattering amplitude for particles in the external field. We will obtain the potential scattering amplitude form the complete Green function in the corresponding external field through solving the Schrodinger equation, after being separated from the poles on the mass shell, which takes the form of an eikonal (Glauber) representation in the high energy region and the small scattering angles. Consider specific external potentials such as the Yukawa or Gaussian potential, we will find the corresponding differential scattering cross-sections.

The contribution of effective quantum gravity to the high energy scattering in the framework of modified perturbation theory and one loop approximation

The asymptotic behavior of the scattering amplitude for two scalar particles at high energies with fixed momentum transfers is studied. The study is done within the effective theory of quantum gravity based on quasi-potential equation. By using the modified perturbation theory, a systematic method is developed to find the leading eikonal scattering amplitudes together with corrections to them in the one-loop gravitational approximation. The relation is established and discussed between the solutions obtained by means of the operator and functional approaches applied to quasi-potential equation. The first non-leading corrections to the leading eikonal amplitude are found.

High energy scattering of polarized nucleons with The phenomenological spin - orbit potential

The scattering amplitude of polarized nucleons has been found within the framework of the Klein Gordon with the phenomenological spin - orbit potential. It has the Glauber type representation. The differential cross sections of polarized nucleon are considered and discussed. The Yukawa potential is applied for this problem to determine the polarization of high energy scattering nucleons.

High energy scattering of Dirac particles on smooth potentials

The derivation of the Glauber type representation for the high energy scattering amplitude of particles of spin 1/2 is given within the framework of the Dirac equation in the Foldy Wouthuysen (FW) representation and two-component formalism. The differential cross sections on the Yukawa and Gaussian potentials are also considered and discussed.

High Energy Scattering in the Quasi-Potential Approach

Asymptotic behavior of the scattering amplitude for two scalar particles by scalar, vector and tensor exchanges at high energy and fixed momentum transfers is reconsidered in quantum field theory. In the framework of the quasi-potential approach and the modified perturbation theory a systematic scheme of finding the leading eikonal scattering amplitudes and its corrections are developed and constructed. The connection between the solutions obtained by quasi-potential and functional approaches is also discussed. The first correction to leading eikonal amplitude is found. Keywords: Eikonal scattering theory, Quantum gravity.

Functional Integration and High Energy Scattering of Particles with Anomalous Magnetic Moments in Quantum Field Theory

The functional integration method is used for studying the scattering of a scalar pion on nucleon with the anomalous magnetic moment in the framework of nonrenomalizable quantum field theory. In the asymptotic region s {\to} {\infty}, |t| << s the representation of eikonal type for the amplitude of pion-nucleon scattering is obtained. The anomalous magnetic moment leads to additional terms in the amplitude which describe the spin flips in the scattering process. It is shown that the renormalization problem does not arise in the asymptotic s {\to} {\infty} since the unrenomalized divergences disappear in this approximation. Coulomb interference is considered as an application.

Planckian Scattering Beyond the Eikonal Approximation in the Quasi-potential Approach

Planckian Scattering Beyond the Eikonal Approximation in the Functional Approach

In the framework of functional integration the non-leading terms to leading eikonal behavior of the Planckian-energy scattering amplitude are calculated by the straight-line path approximation. We show that the allowance for the first-order correction terms leads to the appearance of retardation effect. The singular character of the correction terms at short distances is also noted, and they may be lead ultimately to the appearance of non-eikonal contributions to the scattering amplitudes.
