A cellular topological field theory

We present a construction of cellular BF theory (in both abelian and non-abelian variants) on cobordisms equipped with cellular decompositions. Partition functions of this theory are invariant under subdivisions, satisfy a version of the quantum master equation, and satisfy Atiyah-Segal-type gluing formula with respect to composition of cobordisms.

On multiplicities of irreducibles in large tensor product of representations of simple Lie algebras

In this paper we study the asymptotic of multiplicities of irreducible representations in large tensor products of finite dimensional representations of simple Lie algebras and their statistics with respect to Plancherel and character probability measures. We derive the asymptotic distribution of irreducible components for the Plancherel measure, generalizing results of Biane and Tate and Zelditch. We also derive the asymptotic of the character measure for generic parameters and an intermediate scaling in the vicinity of the Plancherel measure. It is interesting that the asymptotic measure is universal and after suitable renormalization does not depend on which representations were multiplied but depends significantly on the degeneracy of the parameter in the character distribution.

Holonomy braidings, biquandles and quantum invariants of links with $SL_2(\mathbb C)$ flat connections

R. Kashaev and N. Reshetikhin introduced the notion of holonomy braiding extending V. Turaev's homotopy braiding to describe the behavior of cyclic representations of the unrestricted quantum group $U_qsl_2$ at root of unity. In this paper, using quandles and biquandles we develop a general theory for Reshetikhin-Turaev ribbon type functor for tangles with quandle representations. This theory applies to the unrestricted quantum group $U_qsl_2$ and produces an invariant of links with a gauge class of quandle representations.

Poisson sigma model and semiclassical quantization of integrable systems

In this paper we outline the construction of semiclassical eigenfunctions of integrable models in terms of the semiclassical path integral for the Poisson sigma model with the target space being the phase space of the integrable system. The semiclassical path integral is defined as a formal power series with coefficients being Feynman diagrams. We also argue that in a similar way one can obtain irreducible semiclassical representations of Kontsevich's star product.

Superintegrability of Generalized Toda Models on Symmetric Spaces

In this paper we prove superintegrability of Hamiltonian systems generated by functions on $K\backslash G/K$, restriced to a symplectic leaf of the Poisson variety $G/K$, where $G$ is a simple Lie group with the standard Poisson Lie structure, $K$ is the subgroup of fixed points with respect to the Cartan involution.

Semiclassical geometry of integrable systems

The main result of this paper is a formula for the scalar product of semiclassical eigenvectors of two integrable systems on the same symplectic manifold. An important application of this formula is the Ponzano-Regge type of asymptotic of Racah-Wigner coefficients.

Limit Shapes of the Stochastic Six Vertex Model

We show that limit shapes for the stochastic 6-vertex model on a cylinder with the uniform boundary state on one end are solutions to the Burger type equation. Solutions to these equations are studied for step initial conditions. When the circumference of the cylinder goes to infinity the solution corresponding to critical initial densities coincides with the one found by Borodin, Corwin and Gorin.

Perturbative quantum gauge theories on manifolds with boundary

This paper introduces a general perturbative quantization scheme for gauge theories on manifolds with boundary, compatible with cutting and gluing, in the cohomological symplectic (BV-BFV) formalism. Explicit examples, like abelian BF theory and its perturbations, including nontopological ones, are presented.

Integral solutions to boundary quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations

We construct integral representations of solutions to the boundary quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations. These are difference equations taking values in tensor products of Verma modules of quantum affine $\mathfrak{sl}_2$, with the K-operators acting diagonally. The integrands in question are products of scalar-valued elliptic weight functions with vector-valued trigonometric weight functions (boundary Bethe vectors). These integrals give rise to a basis of solutions of the boundary qKZ equations over the field of quasi-constant meromorphic functions in weight subspaces of the tensor product.

Perturbative BV theories with Segal-like gluing

This is a survey of our program of perturbative quantization of gauge theories on manifolds with boundary compatible with cutting/pasting and with gauge symmetry treated by means of a cohomological resolution (Batalin-Vilkovisky) formalism. We also give two explicit quantum examples -- abelian BF theory and the Poisson sigma model. This exposition is based on a talk by P.M. at the ICMP 2015 in Santiago de Chile.

Integrability of Limit Shapes of the Six Vertex Model

The main result of this paper is the construction of infinitely many conserved quantities (corresponding to commuting transfer-matrices) for the limit shape equation for the 6-vertex model on a cylinder. This suggests that the limit shape equation is an integrable PDE with gradient constraints. At the free fermionic point this equation becomes the complex Burgers equation.

Degenerately Integrable Systems

The subject of this paper is degenerate integrability in Hamiltonian mechanics. It starts with a short survey of degenerate integrability. The first section contains basic notions. It is followed by a number of examples which include the Kepler system, Casimir models, spin Calogero models, spin Ruijsenaars models, and integrable models on symplectic leaves of Poisson Lie groups. The new results are degenerate integrability of relativistic spin Ruijsenaars and Calogero-Moser systems and the duality between them.

Combinatorial Quantum Field Theory and Gluing Formula for Determinants

We define the combinatorial Dirichlet-to-Neumann operator and establish a gluing formula for determinants of discrete Laplacians using a combinatorial Gaussian quantum field theory. In case of a diagonal inner product on cochains we provide an explicit local expression for the discrete Dirichlet-to-Neumann operator. We relate the gluing formula to the corresponding Mayer-Vietoris formula by Burghelea, Friedlander and Kappeler for zeta-determinants of analytic Laplacians, using the approximation theory of Dodziuk. Our argument motivates existence of gluing formulas as a consequence of a gluing principle on the discrete level.

Boundary quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations and fusion

In this paper we extend our previous results concerning Jackson integral solutions of the boundary quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations with diagonal K-operators to higher-spin representations of quantum affine $\mathfrak{sl}_2$. First we give a systematic exposition of known results on $R$-operators acting in the tensor product of evaluation representations in Verma modules over quantum $\mathfrak{sl}_2$. We develop the corresponding fusion of $K$-operators, which we use to construct diagonal $K$-operators in these representations. We construct Jackson integral solutions of the associated boundary quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations and explain how in the finite-dimensional case they can be obtained from our previous results by the fusion procedure.

Boundary quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations and Bethe vectors

Solutions to boundary quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations are constructed as bilateral sums involving "off-shell" Bethe vectors in case the reflection matrix is diagonal and only the 2-dimensional representation of $U_q(\hat{\frak{sl}(2)})$ is involved. We also consider their rational and classical degenerations.

Recursion Formulas for HOMFLY and Kauffman Invariants

In this note we describe the recursion relations between two parameter HOMLFY and Kauffman polynomials of framed links These relation correspond to embeddings of quantized universal enveloping algebras. The relation corresponding to embeddings $g_{n}\supset g_{k}\times sl_{n-k}$ where $g_{n}$ is either $so_{2n+1}$, $so_{2n}$ or $sp_{2n}$ is new.

Semiclassical quantization of classical field theories

These lectures are an introduction to formal semiclassical quantization of classical field theory. First we develop the Hamiltonian formalism for classical field theories on space time with boundary. It does not have to be a cylinder as in the usual Hamiltonian framework. Then we outline formal semiclassical quantization in the finite dimensional case. Towards the end we give an example of such a quantization in the case of Abelian Chern-Simons theory.
