Embeddings of E(1,6) in E(5,10) and E(4,4)

We study the embeddings of the exceptional infinite-dimensional Lie superalgebra E(1,6) in the exceptional Lie superalgebras E(5,10) and E(4,4). These questions arose in the recent works on enhanced symmetries in some supersymmetric theories by N. Garner, S. Raghavendran, I. Saberi and B. Williams.

Classification of degenerate Verma modules over $E(4,4)$

In this paper we classify degenerate Verma modules over the linearly compact Lie superalgebra $E(4,4)$. This completes the description of Verma modules over the exceptional linearly compact Lie superalgebras. As in the other cases all degenerate modules and morphisms between them give rise to infinite bilateral complexes which may be viewed as a generalization of de Rham complexes.

A Lie conformal superalgebra and duality of representations for E(4,4)

We construct a duality functor in the category of continuous representations of the Lie superalgebra E(4,4), the only exceptional simple linearly compact Lie superalgebra, for which it wasn't known. This is achieved by constructing a Lie conformal superalgebra of type (4,4), for which E(4,4) is the annihilation algebra. Along the way we obtain an explicit realization of E(4,4) by vector fields on a (4|4)-dimensional supermanifold.

Classification of degenerate Verma modules for E(5,10)

Given a Lie superalgebra $\frak g$ with a subalgebra $\frak g_{\geq 0}$, and a finite-dimensional irreducible $\frak g_{\geq 0}$-module $F$, the induced $\frak g$-module $M(F)=U({\frak g}) \otimes_{U(\frak g_{\geq 0})} F $ is called a finite Verma module. In the present paper we classify the non-irreducible finite Verma modules over the largest exceptional linearly compact Lie superalgebra ${\frak g}=E(5,10)$ with the subalgebra $\frak g_{\geq 0}$ of minimal codimension. This is done via classification of all singular vectors in the modules $M(F)$. Besides known singular vectors of degree 1,2,3,4 and 5, we discover two new singular vectors, of degrees 7 and 11. We show that the corresponding morphisms of finite Verma modules of degree 1,4,7, and 11 can be arranged in an infinite number of bilateral infinite complexes, which may be viewed as 'exceptional' de Rham complexes for $E(5,10)$.

Low degree morphisms of E(5,10)-generalized verma modules

In this paper we face the study of the representations of the exceptional Lie superalgebra E(5,10). We recall the construction of generalized Verma modules and give a combinatorial description of the restriction to sl_5 of the Verma module induced by the trivial representation. We use this description to classify morphisms between Verma modules of degree one, two and three proving in these cases a conjecture given by Rudakov. A key tool is the notion of dual morphism between Verma modules.

Classification of linearly compact simple Nambu-Poisson algebras

We introduce the notion of universal odd generalized Poisson superalgebra associated to an associative algebra A, by generalizing a construction made in [5]. By making use of this notion we give a complete classification of simple linearly compact (generalized) n-Nambu-Poisson algebras over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero.

Algebraic vs physical N=6 3-algebras

In our previous paper we classified linearly compact algebraic simple N=6 3-algebras. In the present paper we classify their "physical" counterparts, which actually appear in the N=6 supersymmetric 3-dimensional Chern-Simons theories.

Classification of linearly compact simple N=6 3-algebras

$N\leq 8$ 3-algebras have recently appeared in N-supersymmetric 3-dimensional Chern-Simons gauge theories. In our previous paper we classified linearly compact simple N = 8 n-algebras for any $n \geq 3$. In the present paper we classify linearly compact simple N = 6 3-algebras, using their correspondence with simple linearly compact Lie superalgebras with a consistent short Z-grading, endowed with a graded conjugation. We also briefly discuss N = 5 3-algebras.

Classification of simple linearly compact n-Lie superalgebras

We classify simple linearly compact n-Lie superalgebras with n>2 over a field F of characteristic 0. The classification is based on a bijective correspondence between non-abelian n-Lie superalgebras and transitive Z-graded Lie superalgebras of the form L=\oplus_{j=-1}^{n-1} L_j, such that L_{-1}=g, where dim L_{n-1}=1, L_{-1} and L_{n-1} generate L, and [L_j, L_{n-j-1}] =0 for all j, thereby reducing it to the known classification of simple linearly compact Lie superalgebras and their Z-gradings. The list consists of four examples, one of them being the n+1-dimensional vector product n-Lie algebra, and the remaining three infinite-dimensional n-Lie algebras.

Classification of linearly compact simple rigid superalgebras

The notion of an anti-commutative (resp. commutative) rigid superalgebra is a natural generalisation of the notion of a Lie (resp. Jordan) superalgebra. Intuitively rigidity means that small deformations of the product under the structural group produce an isomorphic algebra. In this paper we classify all linearly compact simple anti-commutative (resp. commutative) rigid superalgebras. Beyond Lie (resp. Jordan) superalgebras the complete list includes four series and twenty two exceptional superalgebras (resp. ten exceptional superalgebras).

Infinite dimensional primitive linearly compact Lie superalgebras

We classify open maximal subalgebras of all infinite-dimensional linearly compact simple Lie superalgebras. This is applied to the classification of infinite-dimensional Lie superalgebras of vector fields, acting transitively and primitively in a formal neighborhood of a point of a finite-dimensional supermanifold.

Spherical orbits and representations of $U_ε(\mathfrak g)$

Let $U_ε(\mathfrak g)$ be the simply connected quantized enveloping algebra associated to a finite-dimensional complex simple Lie algebra $\mathfrak g$ at the roots of unity. The De Concini-Kac-Procesi conjecture on the dimension of the irreducible representations of $U_ε(\mathfrak g)$ is proved for representations corresponding to the spherical conjugacy classes of the simply connected algebraic group $G$ with Lie algebra $\mathfrak g$. We achieve this result by means of a new characterization of the spherical conjugacy classes of $G$ in terms of elements of the Weyl group.
