Possibility of the antibottom-strange molecular pentaquarks near $ BΣ$ and $ B^*Σ$ thresholds

The molecular states in coupled channel system of $B_s^0N- BΛ- B^*Λ- BΣ- B^*Σ$ are investigated within one-boson-exchange model that includes $S$-$D$ wave mixing and a tunable short-range $δ(r)$ term. Bound, resonant, and virtual states are searched by analytically continuing the $S$ matrix in the complex energy plane. In the single-channel analysis, the $ BΣ$ and $ B^*Σ$ systems with $J^P=1/2^-$ and $3/2^-$ are found to be attractive and form three bound states with reasonable cutoff region, corresponding to $1/2^-( BΣ)$, $1/2^-( B^*Σ)$, and $3/2^-( B^*Σ)$ . When coupled-channel dynamics is included, these states evolve into near-threshold poles that produce enhancements in the $B_s^0N$, $ BΛ$, and $ B^*Λ$ invariant mass spectra. The pole below the $ B^*Σ$ threshold in the $J^P=1/2^-$ system depends strongly on the treatment of the short-range $δ(r)$ term and becomes a virtual state when this contribution is removed, while the other two resonant poles and their line shapes are only moderately affected. For representative parameter region, the predicted masses of these states lie in the $6.44-6.52$ GeV region and have widths of a few to several MeV. The pole coupling and partial-width analyses indicate that the poles are generated mainly by the $ BΣ$ and $ B^*Σ$ channels interaction, and their observable signals are expected mainly in the lower open channels $B_s^0N$, $ BΛ$, and $ B^*Λ$. These results support the existence of near-threshold molecular pentaquark $P_{ \bar b s}$ and provide useful guidance in future experimental searches.

Role of the short-range dynamics in simultaneous interpretation of $P_{cs}$ pentaqurks via $Ξ_c^{(\prime,*)}\bar{D}^{(*)}$ molecules

We investigate hidden-charm molecular states in $Ξ_c^{(\prime,*)}\bar{D}^{(*)}$ systems using the one-boson exchange model. By regulating the short-range interactions with parameter $a$ and cutoff $Λ$, we found ten bound states in isoscalar systems. Our analysis reveals that if the LHCb Collaboration's $P_{cs}(4459)$ and Belle Collaboration's $P_{cs}(4472)$ pentaqurks are indeed distinct states, their mass splitting can be resolved through $Ξ_c^{\prime}\bar{D}$-$Ξ_c\bar{D}^*$ coupled channel dynamics using consistent model parameters. This framework assigns $3/2^-$ and $1/2^-$ spin-parity quantum numbers to $P_{cs}(4459)$ and $P_{cs}(4472)$, respectively. With this consistent model parameter, we predict several new molecular candidates in the $4.3-4.7$ GeV mass region, demonstrating the crucial interplay between coupled channel effects and short-range dynamics in understanding hidden-charm pentaquarks as hadronic molecules. Additionally, we investigate the effects of $Λη_c$ and $ΛJ/ψ$ decay channels on the predicted molecular states, showing how these channels influence pole positions and provide insights into the detectability of these states through different production mechanisms.

A $Z_4$ symmetric inverse seesaw model for neutrino masses and FIMP dark matter

A theoretical framework based on a spontaneously broken $Z_4$ symmetry is proposed to simultaneously explain neutrino mass generation via the inverse seesaw mechanism and dark matter (DM) production through a freeze-in scenario. This work extends the standard model with right-handed neutrinos $N_i$, additional fermions $χ_i$, and a complex scalar $S$. An unbroken $Z_2$ subgroup ensures the stability of the DM candidate, whose relic abundance is dominantly produced via decay and scattering processes involving heavy singlet fermions. Phenomenological analyses show that this relatively minimal construction accommodates the observed neutrino oscillation parameters, consistent with the latest global fit data. Furthermore, the model successfully reproduces the observed DM relic density within the parameter space relevant to neutrino phenomenology, establishing a connection between neutrino properties and DM production.

Role of the short-range dynamics in the formation of $D^{(*)}\bar D^{(*)}/B^{(*)}\bar B^{(*)}$ hadronic molecules

We investigate potential hadronic molecular states in the $D^{(*)}\bar D^{(*)}$ and $B^{(*)}\bar B^{*}$ systems using light meson exchange interactions. Our analysis focuses on coupled-channel systems with spin-parity quantum numbers $J^{PC}=0^{++}$, $1^{+\pm}$ and $2^{++}$, examining how the $δ(r)$ potential affects states near threshold. Using coupled-channel analysis, we reproduce the $X(3872)$ mass with a given cutoff for the $(I)J^{PC}=(0)1^{++}$ state, finding a minimal impact from the $δ(r)$ term. At this cutoff, both the $(0)0^{++}$ state near the $D\bar D$ threshold and the $(0)1^{+-}$ state near the $D\bar D^*$ threshold show less sensitivity to the $δ(r)$ term compared to the three states-$(0)0^{++}$, $(0)1^{+-}$, and $(0)2^{++}$-near the $D^*\bar D^*$ threshold. As anticipated, the $B^{(*)}\bar B^{*}$ systems exhibit similar behavior but with stronger binding due to their larger reduced mass. These findings suggest promising directions for future experimental searches, particularly in the isoscalar sector, which could substantially advance our understanding of exotic tetraquark states.

Molecular states in $D_s^{(*)+}Ξ_c^{(',*)}$ systems

The possible hadronic molecules in $D_s^{(*)+}Ξ_c^{(',*)}$ systems with $J^P=1/2^-,3/2^-$ and $5/2^-$ are investigated with interactions described by light meson exchanges. By varying the cutoff in a phenomenologically reasonable range of $1\sim2.5$ GeV, we find ten near-threshold (bound or virtual) states in the single-channel case. After introducing the coupled-channel dynamics of $D_s^{+}Ξ_c$-$D_s^{+}Ξ_c^{'}$-$D_s^{*+}Ξ_c$-$D_s^{+}Ξ_c^{*}$-$D_s^{*+}Ξ_c^{'}$-$D_s^{*+}Ξ_c^{*}$ systems, these states, except those below the lowest channels in each $J^{P}$ sector, move into the complex energy plane and become resonances in the mass range of $4.43\sim4.76$ GeV. Their spin-parities and nearby thresholds are $1/2^-(D_s^{+}Ξ_c)$, $1/2^-(D_s^{+}Ξ_c^{'})$, $1/2^-(D_s^{*+}Ξ_c)$,$1/2^-(D_s^{*+}Ξ_c^{'})$, $1/2^-(D_s^{*+}Ξ_c^{*})$ , $3/2^-(D_s^{*+}Ξ_c)$, $3/2^-(D_s^{+}Ξ_c)$, $3/2^-(D_s^{*+}Ξ_c^{'})$, $3/2^-(D_s^{*+}Ξ_c^{*})$, and $5/2^-(D_s^{*+}Ξ_c^{*})$. The impacts of the $δ(r)$-term in the one-boson-exchange model on these states are presented. Setting $Λ=1.5$ GeV as an illustrative value, it is found that $1/2^-(D_s^{+}Ξ_c)$ is a stable bound state (becoming unstable if turning on the coupling to lower channels), $1/2^-(D_s^{*+}Ξ_c)$ and $3/2^-(D_s^{*+}Ξ_c)$ are physical resonances in both cases of including or excluding the $δ(r)$-term, while the other seven states are physical resonances or ``virtual-state-like" poles near thresholds, depending on including the $δ(r)$-term or not. In addition, the partial decay widths of the physical resonances are provided. These double-charm hidden-strangeness pentaquark states, as the partners of experimentally observed $P_c$ and $P_{cs}$ states, can be searched for in the $D^{(*)}Λ_c$ final states in future.

Anticharmed strange pentaquarks from the one-boson-exchange model

Inspired by the LHCb's discovery of hidden-charm pentaquarks, the anticharmed strange pentaquarks $P_{\bar c s}$ in a favor of the hadronic molecule picture are investigated from the one-boson-exchange model. Similar to the hidden-charm pentaquarks, three molecular bound states, one with spin parity $J^P=1/2^-$ below the $\bar DΣ$ threshold and another two with $J^P=\{1/2^-,3/2^-\}$ below the $\bar D^*Σ$ threshold, are predicted at $3-3.2$ GeV mass region. The mass ordering of the later two states can be interchanged by different reductions of the $δ(r)$ term. Furthermore, resonances associated with these three bound states are examined by considering $ D_s^-N-\bar DΛ-\bar D Σ-\bar D^*Λ-\bar D^*Σ$ coupled-channel dynamics, and decay widths of them are predicted. Our study indicates that the $ D_s^- p$ invariant mass spectrum in the $\bar B_s^0\to \bar n D_s^- p$ decay is an appropriate place to detect the $P_{\bar c s}$ pentaquarks.

Coupled-channel effects of the $Σ_c^{(*)}\bar{D}^{(*)}$-$Λ_c(2595)\bar{D}$ system and molecular nature of the $P_c$ pentaquark states from one-boson exchange model

The effects of the $Σ_c\bar{D}^*$-$Λ_{c}(2595)\bar{D}$ coupled-channel dynamics and various one-boson-exchange (OBE) forces for the LHCb pentaquark states, $P_c(4440)$ and $P_c(4457)$, are reinvestigated. Both the pion and $ρ$-meson exchanges are considered for the $Σ_c\bar{D}^*$-$Λ_{c}(2595)\bar{D}$ coupled-channel dynamics. It is found that the role of the $Λ_{c}(2595)\bar{D}$ channel in the descriptions of the $P_c(4440)$ and $P_c(4457)$ states is not significant with the OBE parameters constrained by other experimental sources. The naive OBE models with the short-distance $δ(\vec{r})$ term of the one-pion exchange (OPE) keep failing to reproduce the $P_c(4440)$ and $P_c(4457)$ states simultaneously. The OPE potential with the full $δ(\vec{r})$ term results in a too large mass splitting for the $J^P=1/2^-$ and $3/2^-$ $Σ_c\bar{D}^*$ bound states with total isospin $I=1/2$. The OBE model with only the OPE $δ(\vec{r})$ term dropped may fit the splitting much better but somewhat underestimates the splitting. Since the $δ(\vec r)$ potential is from short-distance physics, which also contains contributions from the exchange of mesons heavier than those considered explicitly, we vary the strength of the $δ(\vec r)$ potential and find that the masses of the $P_c(4312)$, $P_c(4440)$, and $P_c(4457)$ can be reproduced simultaneously with the $δ(\vec r)$ term in the OBE model reduced by about 80\%. While two different spin assignments are possible to produce their masses, in the preferred description, the spin parities of the $P_c(4440)$ and $P_c(4457)$ are $3/2^-$ and $1/2^-$, respectively.
