Accordiohedra as positive geometries for generic scalar field theories

We build upon the prior works of [1-3] to study tree-level planar amplitudes for a massless scalar field theory with polynomial interactions. Focusing on a specific example, where the interaction is given by $λ_3ϕ^{3}\ +λ_4 ϕ^{4}$, we show that a specific convex realization of a simple polytope known as the accordiohedron in kinematic space is the positive geometry for this theory. As in the previous cases, there is a unique planar scattering form in kinematic space, associated to each positive geometry which yields planar scattering amplitudes.

Stueckelberg Bosons as an Ultralight Dark Matter Candidate

In this letter, we propose a new model of fuzzy dark matter based on Stueckelberg theory. Dark matter is treated as a Bose-Einstein condensate of Stueckelberg particles and the resulting cosmological effects are analyzed. Fits are understood for the density and halo sizes of such particles and comparison with existing models is made. Certain attractive properties of the model are demonstrated and lines for future work are laid out.

Infrared Effects and the Soft Photon Theorem in Massive QED

Stueckelberg QED with massive photon is known to be renormalizable. But the limit of the mass going to zero is interesting because it brings the resolution to infrared questions through the role of Stueckelberg field at null infinity in addition to providing new asymptotic symmetries. Such symmetries facilitate the soft photon theorems also.

Noncommutative Cubic Scalar Field Theory and Tree Level Processes

In this paper, we study the corrections to tree level scattering that arise due to noncommutative deformations of cubic scalar field theory through implementation of the Groenewald-Moyal(GM) product. The additional noncommutative refinement as we shall see, supplies nontrivial corrections to scattering even at the tree level. The amplitudes for 2 -> 2 scattering are computed and elucidated. Finally, we also consider the possibility of a localized noncommutativity parameter and the possible consequences of introducing position dependence in spacetime noncommutativity

A Statistical Analysis of Anharmonic Gases

In this paper, we consider an anharmonic perturbation to the harmonic oscillator in the classical and the quantum regimes. We analyse a relativistic particle subjected to such a potential and then proceed to study a gas of such particles. In the first case, the partition function is computed and stated. In both cases, expressions for the average energy are obtained.

Noncommutative Spaces and the Theory of Geometrodynamics

This article is concerned with a generalisation of Connes' noncommutative framework. This is achieved by a general study of spectral triples, in particular through an analysis of the role played by the Dirac operator. The Dirac operator is used to construct a generalised covariant derivative, which is then employed to define a generalised spacetime. The spectral action is then modified to accommodate this generalisation and it is observed that in the appropriate limit, Connes' spectral action is recovered.
