Some results on the super domination number of a graph

Let $G=(V,E)$ be a simple graph. A dominating set of $G$ is a subset $S\subseteq V$ such that every vertex not in $S$ is adjacent to at least one vertex in $S$. The cardinality of a smallest dominating set of $G$, denoted by $γ(G)$, is the domination number of $G$. A dominating set $S$ is called a super dominating set of $G$, if for every vertex $u\in \overline{S}=V-S$, there exists $v\in S$ such that $N(v)\cap \overline{S}=\{u\}$. The cardinality of a smallest super dominating set of $G$, denoted by $γ_{sp}(G)$, is the super domination number of $G$. In this paper, we study super domination number of some graph classes and present sharp bounds for some graph operations.

On the Graovac-Ghorbani and atom-bond connectivity indices of graphs from primary subgraphs

Let $G=(V,E)$ be a finite simple graph. The Graovac-Ghorbani index of a graph G is defined as $ABC_{GG}(G)=\sum_{uv\in E(G)}\sqrt{\frac{n_u(uv,G)+n_v(uv,G)-2}{n_u(uv,G)n_v(uv,G)}},$ where $n_u(uv,G)$ is the number of vertices closer to vertex $u$ than vertex $v$ of the edge $uv\in E(G)$. $n_v(uv,G)$ is defined analogously. The atom-bond connectivity index of a graph G is defined as $ABC(G)=\sum_{uv\in E(G)}\sqrt{\frac{d_u+d_v-2}{d_ud_v}},$ where $d_u$ is the degree of vertex $u$ in $G$. Let $G$ be a connected graph constructed from pairwise disjoint connected graphs $G_1,\ldots ,G_k$ by selecting a vertex of $G_1$, a vertex of $G_2$, and identifying these two vertices. Then continue in this manner inductively. We say that $G$ is obtained by point-attaching from $G_1, \ldots ,G_k$ and that $G_i$'s are the primary subgraphs of $G$. In this paper, we give some lower and upper bounds on Graovac-Ghorbani and atom-bond connectivity indices for these graphs. Additionally, we consider some particular cases of these graphs that are of importance in chemistry and study their Graovac-Ghorbani and atom-bond connectivity indices.

More on co-even domination number

Let $G=(V,E)$ be a simple graph. A dominating set of $G$ is a subset $D\subseteq V$ such that every vertex not in $D$ is adjacent to at least one vertex in $D$. The cardinality of a smallest dominating set of $G$, denoted by $γ(G)$, is the domination number of $G$. A dominating set $D$ is called co-even dominating set if the degree of vertex $v$ is even number for all $v\in V-D$. The cardinality of a smallest co-even dominating set of $G$, denoted by $γ_{coe}(G)$, is the co-even domination number of $G$. In this paper, we find more results on co-even domination number of graphs and count the number of co-even dominating sets of some specific graphs.

On the Sombor characteristic polynomial and Sombor energy of a graph

Let $G$ be a simple graph with vertex set $V(G) = \{v_1, v_2,\ldots, v_n\}$. The Sombor matrix of $G$, denoted by $A_{SO}(G)$, is defined as the $n\times n$ matrix whose $(i,j)$-entry is $\sqrt{d_i^2+d_j^2}$ if $v_i$ and $v_j$ are adjacent and $0$ for another cases. Let the eigenvalues of the Sombor matrix $A_{SO}(G)$ be $ρ_1\geq ρ_2\geq \ldots\geq ρ_n$ which are the roots of the Sombor characteristic polynomial $\prod_{i=1}^n (ρ-ρ_i)$. The Sombor energy $En_{SO}$ of $G$ is the sum of absolute values of the eigenvalues of $A_{SO}(G)$. In this paper we compute the Sombor characteristic polynomial and the Sombor energy for some graph classes, define Sombor energy unique and propose a conjecture on Sombor Energy.

Mostar index and edge Mostar index of polymers

Let $G=(V,E)$ be a graph and $e=uv\in E$. Define $n_u(e,G)$ be the number of vertices of $G$ closer to $u$ than to $v$. The number $n_v(e,G)$ can be defined in an analogous way. The Mostar index of $G$ is a new graph invariant defined as $Mo(G)=\sum_{uv\in E(G)}|n_u(uv,G)-n_v(uv,G)|$. The edge version of Mostar index is defined as $Mo_e(G)=\sum_{e=uv\in E(G)} |m_u(e|G)-m_v(G|e)|$, where $m_u(e|G)$ and $m_v(e|G)$ are the number of edges of $G$ lying closer to vertex $u$ than to vertex $v$ and the number of edges of $G$ lying closer to vertex $v$ than to vertex $u$, respectively. Let $G$ be a connected graph constructed from pairwise disjoint connected graphs $G_1,\ldots ,G_k$ by selecting a vertex of $G_1$, a vertex of $G_2$, and identifying these two vertices. Then continue in this manner inductively. We say that $G$ is a polymer graph, obtained by point-attaching from monomer units $G_1,...,G_k$. In this paper, we consider some particular cases of these graphs that are of importance in chemistry and study their Mostar and edge Mostar indices.

Let $G=(V,E)$ be a finite simple graph. The Sombor index $SO(G)$ of $G$ is defined as $\sum_{uv\in E(G)}\sqrt{d_u^2+d_v^2}$, where $d_u$ is the degree of vertex $u$ in $G$. In this paper, we study this index for certain graphs and we examine the effects on $SO(G)$ when $G$ is modified by operations on vertex and edge of $G$. Enumeration of accurate dominating sets

A dominating set $D$ is an accurate dominating set of $G$, if no $|D|$-element subset of $V\setminus D$ is a dominating set of $G$. The accurate domination number, $γ_a(G)$, is the cardinality of a smallest accurate dominating set $D$. In this paper, after presenting preliminaries, we count the number of accurate dominating sets of some specific graphs.

A graph related to Euler $ϕ$ function

Euler function $ϕ(n)$ is the number of positive integers less than $n$ and relatively prime to $n$. Suppose that $ϕ^1(n)=ϕ(n)$ and $ϕ^i(n)=ϕ(ϕ^{i-1}(n))$. Let $A\subseteq \mathbb{N}$, and $A_ϕ=\{ ϕ^k(n)| n\in A , k\in \mathbb{N} \cup \{0\}\}.$ We consider a graph $G_ϕ(A)=(V,E)$, where $V=A_ϕ$ and $E=\{\{r,s\}| r,s\in V, ϕ(r)=s \}$. We say a graph $H$ is a $G_ϕ$-graph, if there exists a set of natural numbers $A$, such that $H=G_ϕ(A)$. In this paper we study the graph $G_ϕ(A)$ and investigate some specific graphs and some chemical trees as $G_ϕ$-graph.

Introduction to total dominator edge chromatic number

We introduce the total dominator edge chromatic number of a graph $G$. A total dominator edge coloring (briefly TDE-coloring) of $G$ is a proper edge coloring of $G$ in which each edge of the graph is adjacent to every edge of some color class. The total dominator edge chromatic number (briefly TDEC-number) $χ'^t_d(G)$ of $G$ is the minimum number of color classes in a TDE-coloring of $G$. We obtain some properties of $χ'^t_d(G)$ and compute this parameter for specific graphs. We examine the effects on $χ'^t_d(G)$ when $G$ is modified by operations on vertex and edge of $G$. Finally, we consider the $k$-subdivison of $G$ and study TDEC-number of this kind of graphs.

Total dominator chromatic number of $k$-subdivision of graphs

Let $G$ be a simple graph. A total dominator coloring of $G$, is a proper coloring of the vertices of $G$ in which each vertex of the graph is adjacent to every vertex of some color class. The total dominator chromatic (TDC) number $χ_d^t(G)$ of $G$, is the minimum number of colors among all total dominator coloring of $G$. For any $k \in \mathbb{N}$, the $k$-subdivision of $G$ is a simple graph $G^{\frac{1}{k}}$ which is constructed by replacing each edge of $G$ with a path of length $k$. In this paper, we study the total dominator chromatic number of $k$-subdivision of $G$.

More on the total dominator chromatic number of a graph

Let $G$ be a simple graph. A total dominator coloring of $G$, is a proper coloring of the vertices of $G$ in which each vertex of the graph is adjacent to every vertex of some color class. The total dominator chromatic (TDC) number $χ_d^t(G)$ of $G$, is the minimum number of colors among all total dominator coloring of $G$. The neighbourhood corona of two graphs $G_1$ and $G_2$ is denoted by $G_1 \star G_2$ and is the graph obtained by taking one copy of $G_1$ and $|V(G_1)|$ copies of $G_2$, and joining the neighbours of the $i$th vertex of $G_1$ to every vertex in the $i$th copy of $G_2$. In this paper, we study the total dominator chromatic number of the neighbourhood of two graphs and investigate the total dominator chromatic number of $r$-gluing of two graphs. Stability (bondage number) of total dominator chromatic number of $G$ is the minimum number of vertices (edges) of $G$ whose removal changes the TDC-number of $G$. We study the stability and bondage number of certatin graphs.
